High resort fee for overnight stays pool only open from 10:00am to 8:00 pm. Poor lobby bar performance! Bar tender serves you the first drink at 10:00pm and tells you immediately with the check he is closing because to slow. That doesn't rock at all!

Atmosphere was great, rooms were really big, really cool scene. Right in downtown. Pool party wasn't so bad either ;). The staff were really helpful. In room dining was severely overpriced and misleading. There is a bar/club attached and there is a restaurant inside the lobby. A lot of restaurants nearby, too.

This is a nice clean hotel in a great location with a nice pool, bar and restaurant. Very professional staff starting with the valet to the check in. They have very nice, clean well furnished large rooms as well. This is probably the best location to stay in Palm Springs. You can walk to all of the great shops and restaurants Downtown. I only had one minor incident with 3 huge water bugs in the bathtub when I woke up in the morning. I couldn't take a shower that morning. (they discounted a day... Read more

The Hard Rock Palm Springs is... well... not quite as cool as some of the other Hard Rock Hotels I have been to. It isn't their fault - they are doing what they can with what they have, but what they have pales in comparison to some of the other locations I have been to. This hotel has a couple of things going for it. The location is great if you and your group are interested in seeing downtown Palm Springs without a car. It is very centrally located for walking the "strip," and for that reason... Read more

It seems like Service is poor in Palm Springs everywhere but Hard Rock sucked. Lethargic staff, Pool Service horribly inattentive and slow - no personality - really did not care. Front desk inarticulate and lacked support when room not ready until 4PM - They think they are in Vegas but it is a small property and offers opportunity for special care and service. Food not good - no one in restaurant or bar - not a destination. Even Pool DJ had Zero personality - their Bar sucked - just a row o... Read more

If your looking for an average hotel with a few cool features, this is ok. Clean, QUIET, and friendly. Certainly does not have a Hard Rock / Rock / or party atmosphere. The bar closes early. The pool is not open in the mornings. There is very limited life in the lobby and lounge. Other hotels I attended the week I was there had more. They had a cool pool party on Sun but that was the limit to the overall atmosphere. This is not like any other Hard Rocks I have been to.

This hotel was basic. Basic unfriendly service. Basic amenities. Totally not worth the price. Flashy on the surface with no substance to support. Sat at the pool for over 30 minutes before a waiter came to take our order. He also made me go to the front desk to get a new wrist band that proceeded to let other people in and then replaced their wrist bands themselves. I chose this hotel for its young hip party vibe, but there was very little to support this. Barely any one acknowledged us. We were... Read more

We were told that all the rooms overlooking the pool were reserved and committed to others and we could not have a pool view. We were told upon phone and arrival we would have a patio and pool then told no. Our final room was next to the door to the bar looking into a wall but had a patio. some friends and I stayed at the Hard Rock last weekend to celebrate a birthday. Check-in was very easy which I am very thankful for, as it was a long, HOT drive into Palm Springs. We used several of the hotel's services and facilities during our weekend stay, and I must say that the quality does not match up with the price paid. The hard rock always brings the party people but the amount of rules (such as no coolers allowed) or there are heavy fines. You should check the fine print when you check in...scary fines for all sorts of things. At 2 am sharp they took the drink out of my hand and waited for me to go to my room. Definitely a bit of an outdated concept but unique nevertheless. Style, decor and atmosphere is definitely unique. I'm sure the vibe is better when there are more people around (summer = low season). Spacious room, great decor. Good facilities. Everything worked ok. Beds comfortable. No disturbance (note our room faced adjacent parking lot). Pool is great in summer time. Not that deep but not there for deep sea diving anyway. Pool bar closes at 5.30-6.00 but drinks available in the restaurant. ... Read more

I absolutely LOVE this hotel. I love the decor! It's very convenient that valet parking is included with your stay. We got there early and they allowed us to check in early no problem. Our room was spacious, clean and very nice! Definitely up to my standards. The pool party was fun, the food was delicious. The bloody Mary's are very good too. The bartenders and all staff was nice and friendly. Bardot nightclub was fun on Saturday night. I don't recommend bringing kids to this hotel during the su... Read more

I hosted my engagement party on 8/21/16. This review is for event and catering. The Hard Rock Hotel really exceeded my expectations! I never thought to do my engagement party at the Hard Rock but after visiting many other hotels around Palm springs and comparing them, I knew it was my best choice! They delivered above and beyond all my expectations. As soon as we got there the customer service was outstanding and they maintained that same amazing service throughout our stay. As we were in San Diego we decided to travel to Palm Spring to take the famous cable car up the mountain. Hotel was very good a and staff very friendly . The room was very comfortable with a coffee machine but when we got up in the morning no Cups so had to wait 1/2 hour for cups. Valet parking is free but the cost is incorporated in the resort fee, along with the free Wi-Fi , we had room 123 and the Wi-Fi was rubbish but good in reception. you would think they would fix this with the complaint... Great location and the rooms are sufficient. Staff is friendly but don't communicate fully with guests or other staff. Example: guests are not allowed to bring alcohol to the hotel but fail to tell the guest; guests were told they can bring floats for the pool but pool staff did not allow them. We were charged for a mini-fridge item that was no longer carried by the hotel so be sure you are checking your hotel bill thoroughly at check-out.

I thought it would be worth it because I was getting a pretty large suite for a great deal. I wasn't impressed. The draw of this place is their gorgeous lobby bar which wasn't even open during our stay Mon-Wed. There's no breakfast served at the restaurant. The only breakfast you can get here is via room service BUT you have to have your order in by 2am if you want it. You can't just decide you want breakfast at 8am and put in an order, how lame is that?! I think the hotel looks a lot cooler on ... Read more

My friends and I stayed at the Hard Rock this past week for memorial weekend and I could say I truly had one of the greatest experiences! Let me start off with once you arrive there, the valet is on point with taking care of your car. I personally always look for that in a hotel because I have always had a bad experience with hotel valet staff carelessly driving my car. Following that, we went to the front desk and check in was easy and fast. They had everything ready for us. We got into our roo... Read more

As of late (6 months ago says the valet) they no longer allow guests to bring outside coolers and alcohol, forcing me to find another hotel for the night, luckily I was was able to get refunded and the front desk representative Chela was very nice and accommodating about our cancellation. Third party sites do not advise of the policy changes so be aware.

Ok so the only reason I gave this place a 3 is because the pool party is the hottest, sexiest, funnest pool party I've ever been to...completely outta control fun! I went for labor day and both at the pool were equally fun, great DJ and great atmosphere... As for the room, well the first day I crawled into bed a little more than tipsy and out came flopping a hot pink and sparkly fake fingernail :/ On top of that the shower faucet was broken and took some trickery to make it work and the sink sto... The Hard Rock Hotel in Palm Springs is centrally located close to shops, restaurants, cafes and a great museum. Everything is walking distance. Although we were twice as old as most of the participants at the Saturday Pool Party, we had a great time! The layout of the pool is lovely.

The name is a give-away: when you choose to stay in the Hard Rock Hotel you should realise that it‚??s not about geology but music. However, my husband and I registered as the overflow from a scientific conference too large for the original hotel to accommodate. The Hard Rock Palm Springs is probably the worst hotel I have every stayed at anywhere I have travelled. From the dated decor, run down look and feel, I wish the company had booked me somewhere else. The balcony is a death trap, tape covering holes on the carpet, a possessed elevator and a $30 resort fee just sucks. The best thing about the Hard Rock Palm Springs were the valet guys and Diane the bartender -- very friendly. On Sat, some drunk jerk puked in the pool which had to be shut down ... Read more

This is a nice little hotel ~ I popped in last minute twice, 800pm arrival. 9-10am Check out. I have not even stepped out the door to see the pool. I am disapointed that they assess a Resort Fee when the pool WAS NOT EVEN OPEN during the time of my visit. I saw the lobby, the elevator and my room. Why am I paying a resort fee? Room Service was excellent. The Staff is friendly, the bed comfortable. If they wern't charging me a silly resort fee I'd be happy.

We had a spacious king room poolside. Bed was extremely comfortable and room very clean. Asked for advice on a good Mexican restaurant and reception advised Rio Azul within walking distance which was fantastic. Check out took two minutes. Would definitely stay again.

very good hotel and fantastic value for mid week stay. We stayed here for two days whilst doing a road trip down the west coast. We didn't eat at the hotel because there are some great eating out places near by- I recommend trying pinochios for your breakfast go for the bottomless champagne. :-)

I've now stayed here four times or more and would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a solid four star experience for sure and is in an ideal location for exploring downtown on foot. I would not recommend arriving early and expecting to have your room ready. For all of the times I've stayed with them, not once has my room been ready before their stated check-in/arrival time. Just sayin... Aside from that, this is a solid four-star experience and a fun place to stay.

We had a Amplify Suite. We got lectured about the minibar policy like we had never used one. Then when we got to the room, there was no mini bar. Or fridge. There was hair in the tub. The wall paper was peeling off. The paint was gouged out. The furniture on the patio had cigarette burns. The staff couldn't care less. We paid for a nice suite and were treated like we were a bother. There are a lot of choices in Palm Springs, take my advice, choose something else.

The rooms are beautifully decorated , the room service is excellent, and the staff members are professional and courteous. It's a perfect location if you want to enjoy downtown Palm Springs as it is just off the trip. The rooms are quiet and very private and excellent spot for a romantic getaway.
