The Colony Palms Hotel is a unique boutique with a history all its own. Originally dubbed The Colonial House by reputed mobster owner Al Wertheimer, the Spanish Colonial style hotel began receiving guests in 1936. The hotel was renamed The Howard Manor in the late 1940's when Robert and Andrea Leeds Howard (owners of the champion thoroughbred Sea Biscuit) took possession. For the next 25 years the hotel was a haven for young Hollywood in Palms Springs. Having recently re-opened after an extensive renovation, The Colony Palms Hotel is a stunning four-star boutique.

The Colony Palms Hotel caters to an adult experience in terms of entertainment and culture providing a very intimate setting that is not always ideal for children. While guests of all ages are welcome, the property asks that parents carefully monitor their children to ensure the best experience for all guests. No pool toys of any kind are allowed in or around the pool.

The Colony Palms Hotel is pet friendly to dogs. A $100 fee will apply per stay. All dogs must be under 40 pounds and are only permitted to stay in patio rooms. Dogs must be mentioned during booking so the property will have proper notification.
