I booked a club level room for 3 night to participate in the Star Wars Light Side Half Marathon weekend. We got to the hotel just after noon. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told they had a room ready for us. I had originally booked a room with 2 beds. The one they had ready was a King bed room. My Sister-in-law and I both agreed we could share a bed and gladly accepted the ready room. They brought out our greeter since we were club level. She showed us around and walked us up to our r... We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel November 13-17, 2016. Traveling in mid-November the parks and hotels were preparing for the Holiday Season. Christmas decorations were just starting to go up and everyday we saw something new added to the resort area. We loved staying on site because of the location and benefits. It was an easy walk through the Downtown Disney District to either park. It was convenient to enter California Adventure through the Grand Hotel and we entered Disneyland from the mono... Read more

We spent four nights at the Disneyland Hotel, and we loved the proximity to the park. It was a quick walk to security, then a bit longer walk through Downtown Disney. However, we didn't mind the walk as Downtown Disney was quite interesting with various acts performing most of the time. The service at the hotel was excellent. We did stay at the concierge level, so perhaps that was a factor. None-the-less, the service was excellent. Our only negative ... The facility has obviously been renovated ... Read more

We've stayed at Paradise Pier, the lowest-cost Disney hotel for Disneyland, and the Disneyland Hotel is really worth the extra money for the added Disney magic! First of all, the rooms are lovely, but most of all, the grounds and pools are outstanding. The pool at Paradise Pier is very plain and there isn't much too it. The pools at the Disneyland hotel are amazing and really make you feel like you are at a tropical resort! Also, there are often characters in the lobby available for pictures... Read more

The room was lovely and clean, pretty spacious too. Our complaint is that there was a shortage of hot water. Two of our three mornings there, the water was too cold to shower between 6 and 7 am. I would think that a hotel that charges as much as they do could afford to kick up the capacity of their water heaters! Also, there are two sinks in the room, which is nice, but one of ours was not working properly. I reported it when we left, so hopefully it will be fixed for the next occupants. We upgr... Read more

The hotel is the mini-showcase of what you expect at Disney, everything is carefully crafted to match the Disney charm. Right from washroom tap to lamp shade design, the decor has Disney touch. I liked the wooden carving of Disneyland on the bedside artwork. It is located right at the entrance of Downtown Disney, where you can enjoy lovely evenings. Attentive staff. Top floors have better views.

Hello, if you follow my reviews am now disabled due to numerous heart operations and was going to stay at home. I cannot take the rides so felt be waste, it was not. We arrived on a 80*F day, The next 84F very nice. The restaurants inside the hotel were fantastic, the Steak house and Goofies restaurant, excellent buffet. Do not eat a week before departure. I also used the outside pools. I think if one could be covered that would be great. I rolled in an electric stroller and talked to folks fro... Read more

My wife and I came stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We have come to Disneyland many times but decided this time to stay at this hotel for the first time. PRO's: - Great overall Disney vibe - Good restaurants nearby. (Note that if you plan on eating at Steakhouse 55, you should make a reservation a week in advance) - Location to Downtown Disney and the park itself. Monorail is nearby to take you into the park. You could also walk to either entrance which is what we mostly did. - The bed is e... Read more

Grand Californian was being renovated and pools were closed so we stayed here. It was probably renovated a couple years ago so it's in good shape, not as fancy as the Grand. Nothing bad to say about the hotel, food not the best and you won't find any better in the park. Monorail is close by and it takes you into Tomorrow Land. Even though the hotel next to Downtown disney, it is still a 10 min walk to the theme parks if you have young kids. Kids liked the water slides and pool.
