This hotel is huge! I would recommend that you park your car by the lobby and check-in to figure out where your room is before unloading your luggage. It may be better for you to check-in and find your room location and move your car so you don't have to walk so far. Welcome cookie was a nice touch, it was actually warm! However, it had nuts and neither me nor my colleague who I was traveling with can eat nuts so we didn't enjoy the cookie. Breakfast options are not worth the $17,99 (or $6.5... Read more

This property is next door to the Ontario Convention Center and near the Ontario Airport. If you are going to the CC, ask for a room in the building that is close to it. The hotel property is spread out, so you can walk a bit. The property is older. It has a pool, spa, work out room that suffice. We got up early before our meetings and walked around the block. Staff was attentive. Warm cookies at check in ??

We have stayed here many times in the last 4 years as our child attended the Claremont Colleges. This is a great value for the price-- and really when making your reservation spring for a pool view in the main building, it will improve your experience. We stayed here twice in the last six weeks and had to extend our stay on one occasion;the staff went out of their way to find us a nice room. Most importantly the rooms are huge, generally quiet, have decent pillows, and unlike the Doubletree... Read more

This place is in serious need of refurbishment. Hallways are dark and both the halls and rooms smell stale. New carpet and paint would do wonders. Otherwise, a convenient location, clean and a lot to look at on the weekend nights.

We chose the Doubletree at ONT for its location very close to the airport. Shuttle collected me directly from the rental lot after I returned a car and took us to the airport at 4.30 a.m. the following day. Decent room, very spacious, maybe showing its age a little. We ate a light dinner in Vineyards - good food, if a little slow to appear, but we were not in a hurry. Great Doubletree cookies at check-in!! A good experience - thanks!

It is one of the best hotels in the area. They really make you feel special and treat you as a honored guest. The accommodation and food are first class. I've stayed at this hotel many time over the past 25 years and have never been disappointed. The main restaurant is one of the best in Southern California .

Also at check-in, I was given a Hhonors rewards points card for receiving points for eating the the hotel restaurant. The food was AWESOME!!!!

I did not know that digital preregistration a were done this way so I called to verify I had booked 2 queen beds in our room. I had to go through a lady who sent me to an answering machine. Last time I was in this area I stayed at another Hilton property but it was sold out this trip. The hotel is very large, multiple buildings, and is a bit dated. I have stayed the last two years at this Doubletree Hotel when I go to the Great Homeschool Convention, they are fantastic. It is next door to the Convention Center. The front desk staff were very nice the 4 times I stopped by for questions. They left us extra towels and cups at my request. Of course the cookies at check in were really great too. The room was large, clean and everything was perfect. The room had a refrig. and microwave, and coffee maker.

The rooms here need to be updated...badly. The service was fine but nothing to write home about. Our stay was brief as we were flying out early the next morning and didn't get to eat the complimentary (for Diamond members) breakfast. They have a small "Starbucks" but the prices are asinine. $6.50 for an Odwalla smoothie... On my next stay in Ontario I'll be looking for another option.

The hotel is old and it shows (or should I say "smells"). The buildings and rooms flat out smell. The elevator really smelled. Having said that, there are enough other positives to make up for it and since I'm there on business, I don't spend a lot of time there anyway. Very nice hotel, good conference areas. Most of the hotel staff were nice, funny how you remember the one that wasn't. Other than the one night when she was rude on the phone, all else was lovely. Would stay again.

We wanted to stay close to the airport to catch a morning flight. The room was big and comfortable. There was a very nice cafe and bar in the lobby. The continental breakfast was pretty expensive, but good. Wi-fi worked well. Would stay there again.

Not perfect but good. Its close to the airport and freeway. The beds are comfortable. The pool and hot tub were not as warm as the could have been. Over all, you will probably enjoy it. We attended our High School Reunion and the room was good sized and the wait staff was pretty good for 200 people. The food at that dinner was actually good. No rubber chicken. Good chicken and really good vegs and dessert.

Nice people, good facility, good food. The reason for the 4 rating is the pillows. They were so uncomfortable I did not get much sleep the first night. When I asked for different pillows, I was told they did not have any. As Hilton usually has a variety of pillows in the room, this was odd.

Great location - close to Ontario airport, good ground communications (roads and highways) for others. Adequate parking, very friendly and helpful staff. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for all of us. Good choices in cuisine in the hotel plus facilities nearby.

The Doubletree Inn is a lovely hotel, and their center courtyard was beautiful! Colored water flowing and spouting at night, and in the day a lovely view to sit near and relax. The pool is comfortable and the jacuzzi delightful. The pre-paid breakfast was most filling and very tasty. The hotel room was really comfortable and the receptionist helped greatly by making sure we were on the 1st floor, due to my feet problems.

There is a need for hospitality training for your front desk staff! (Ontario Airport location.) Encountered a rude young man, upon check in. Without even looking up at me, told me when I arrived that "we're booked " I had a reservation, then went on to say, well you can't check in until 3:30 we are at capacity... er ok? Hospitality skills set (0) My dissatisfaction (10)! He could of been having a bad day? However my hard earned money didn't know that! No thank you, this was not acceptable custo... Read more

Early morning flight makes this property very attractive. Shuttle service available, but there is plenty of parking as well. Friendly front office staff. Busy property and on the Saturday before Halloween lots of people with costumes. Room was huge and very clean. Lots of parties taking place and a bit noisy but it's not the fault of the hotel. Would recommend to anyone having to stay near the Ontario airport. At check out I couldn't get anyone to come up front so we left.

We usually stay here for the Scrapbook Expo because it has a shuttle to the Convention Center & Airport- but the place is looking sadder & sadder each year. Needs some major renovations. Carpet is stained & in desperate need of shampooing. Bathroom tile missing. Wood work could use sprucing up. Why keep coming back? Cuz my friend is a member & she gets our room dirt cheap (dirt-no pun intended but maybe appropriate). At least the beds are comfy.

Kind of strangely nice hotel. In some ways it was dated and in others it was kinda Polynesia fun. Breakfast was great. Room was clean and comfortable. I would return unless I had a better choice and location.

one of the properties I stay at when in the ONT area, this trip was short notice, as some are, they had a corner room in the back building, first floor, king, my kind of room, clean comfortable, quiet, easy entry, not hassle, IF I had this room every time this property would be my "always go to" but, business is business.

We needed a room overnight on our drive between Las Vegas and Long Beach and the DoubleTree fit the bill. It has a convenient location, large comfortable rooms, (balcony with chairs), interior hallways, work out room, Starbucks, restaurants, conference facilities, free parking and comfortable beds. The lobby has been recently renovated in a modern style. The rooms surround a beautifully landscaped tropical courtyard complete with a large swimming pool, spa and a bar. We got up late the next... This hotel is pretty decent, except I was given a room without a microwave or fridge. I didn't realize those two items wouldn't come standard. Anyways, the room is spacious and clean. Bed was firm and comfy, pillows fluffy and linens freshly laundered. I really liked that they had a 24 hour fitness center. It was pretty well equipped with Precor products. Fitness center included water, towels, scale, weighted balls, yoga ball, mats, treadmills, elliptical machines, a recumbent bike, a variety of... Read more

Stayed at this location 20+ times over the past 6 years. Over those years some things have been constants, great customer service, the nice interior courtyard a pool, and crazy Misty's Lounge. While the food is still good, breakfast at the restaurant or dinner in the steak house there has been a gradual decline, especially, in the Steak house. That said neither places are ever bad. The real deterioration has been in the rooms as virtually no changes have occurred over the past 6 years. Thin... Read more

We stayed at the Double Tree for one night the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had forgotten to mention that I needed a refrigerator in our room so the first room that we were given didn't have a frig. But they were quick to put us in another room with a refrigerator. So if you would like to have a refrigerator, make sure you ask when you check in because not all the rooms have one. The rooms are spacious. We liked that the bathrooms had a separate sink o... First, the hotel is a maze with no sense of direction of getting to your room. Luggage carts are not available. Rooms are dirty and run-down. The staff are rude, especially the breakfast manager. He closes the buffet before 10 AM and the food is usually leftovers and stale items. They are selling fake breakfast sandwiches under the Starbuck's name. The prices are outrageous and you will get sick if you eat the food prepared in the kitchen. I'm not sure if renovation is going to help with the at... Read more
