Family of 5 so cramped(after the sofa bed is out there is minimal room) and quite dated but comfortable, clean, adequate maid service and good position(PS-we chose SV Lodge on line as it appeared the only ski in/ski out place but in effect virtually all the accomodation at Squaw Valley is only a few metres from the snow so not really an issue). No breakfast included or available so have to buy at the outrageously expensive mini-market(Alice's) which is the only grocery option other than driving ... Read more

We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was very comfortable. The location was great, very easy access to the ski lifts. The decor is a little dated but we did not care, everything worked fine. The room was a bit noisy-could hear the people in the room above walking around and heater was very loud so we turned it off at night. With that said I would stay here again, the price was right.

The hotel was nice with very friendly staff. The two level suite rental was nicve with kids. Ski in and ski out, right on the Mountain. Pool was not heated. Two large hot tubs though. Its essentially a vacation rental with all things needed in Kitchen.

So beautiful and serene, room was clean and easy access to the do not need to go anywhere else - this is a little micro-community, so very perfect and relaxing. We had a slight emergency on our last day and I was beyond impressed with the staff and paramedics. The General Manager called to check in afterwards which only solidified that we will be back!!! People are kind and fun..we did not want to leave.

The Lodge is right there ! on the village , with everything happening close to you. Our room had one of the best views to the ski tracks, however the queen size bed and mattress were extremely used and made our nights stressful, bathroom is nice with a very good shower.

Dont't expect to find peace and quiet here during the summer months as this hotel hosts a large cheerleading camp which involves 100+ screaming kids and music being blasted through a large stereo setup 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. Repeated requests to reduce the noise level have been declined and the property has shown no interest in working with its other tenants and guests to reduce the impact from the camp. So be warned, don't stay here during the summer months unless you enjoy being blast... Read more

We went during a "down week" in early June- where Tahoe takes a break. It was quiet, peaceful, no crowds at all. Downside to those that care- most shops are closed- but I'm not a big shopper so I appreciated the peace and quiet- access to Tahoe Adventure Ropes course- a blast. The lodge was clean, well stocked, hot though- staff provided fans upon request,

My wife, 11 year old grandson and I spent three nights at this property in Mid July, 2016. The property is adjacent to the Olympic Valley Mall with its many excellent shops and restaurants. There is hiking, biking, tennis, table tennis, trams, and a wonderful pool and Jacuzzi and so many activities to do that I can't name them all. The summer months are pretty quiet, so, crowds are not a problem. North lake Tahoe/Tahoe city are jus 5 miles to the south. I highly recommend this property. Thi... Read more

The complex was beautiful, rooms were great and very affordable. Location was great, minutes from the river and only about 6 miles to Lake Tahoe. Check in time was 4pm but they let us check in by 1 and allowed 1 hour late check out. I will definitely stay again!!

We have stayed here a number of times. I encourage you to book directly with the resort as you likely will get the best rate. Squaw Valley reservations staff were terrific. We love this resort because there are kitchen and it's easy to "stay in and eat." If you prefer to dine out the village has a few places although they are pricey. The lodge rooms are well maintained and spacious. We had five us stay in a studio loft and we honestly were not crowded. It worked out great. We love the pool and... Read more

This condo facility has never failed to provide exactly what we need. It has a laid back "local" feeling to it. Mountain wear fits right in. My most recent visit to the lodge placed me in a third floor two queen arrangement. One up in the loft area, with it's own private bath, sitting area, walk in closet, and one downstairs near the kitchen area, with another bathroom nearby (lots of storage upstairs in bath and closet). It had a ceiling fan & skylight with electronic blackout cover upsta... Read more
