We absolutely loved this hotel. The service was friendly, the grounds were immaculate and the room was delightful. Very spacious and comfortable beds. It was a highlight on our trip. This hotel deserves a higher rating for sure!!!!!!

This was an OK place to stay. It is basic, similar to a motel 6. No frills, just basic but much more expensive. They did have a breakfast that included eggs and bacon, toast, yogurt, some whole fruit and coffee. The room also has motion sensors on the light switches. If you sit up in bed in the night or get up, ALL of the lights go on! Happened to us three times. Poor nights sleep with the lights going on if one or the other of us moved too much.

I am handicapped. The room we were assigned fit all of our needs. It was spacious and everything worked! We came to Ojai to celebrate my wife's birthday. The price was right, the employees attentive, and it was clean. The only thing I take points off for (and there is nothing the management can do about it) is that it's a two story facility and depending on who happens to get the room above you determines the quality of your stay. If they happen to be noisy, it can be annoying. If they are qu... Read more

Casa Ojai has been our home-away-from-home on many occasions over the last 4 years. I have a student that attends the local Boarding School and Casa Ojai is conveniently located for the various events Thacher has throughout the year. Casa Ojai has always been convenient to us, and not necessarily a place I would recommend to non-Thacher families. However, I recently stayed at Ojai again this past weekend and I've got to say that the recent upgrades/improvements are noticeable and have elevated t... Read more

We visited Ojai during first week of July. I was very impressed on how nice and clean the rooms were. The had everything that any 5 star hotel may have. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast for a small Inn like this was really good. Highly recommend this place.

Overall a great place to stay just at the edge of town. There is a pool and Jacuzzi, which was great after attending the Ojai Century The breakfast is the only thing I would improve on, other than that it is a great location and very clean.

This place is at the end of Ojai but it's not really far from the downtown. The place has a great saltwater pool, and jacuzzi great for little ones who like to play in the water. I loved the nice patio chairs and tables next to the pool that made it feel like home, in that you could bring your food and eat next to the pool. The staff were nice the rooms were simple but fine. The breakfast was simple but nice. Overall, I'd stay here again!

My mom recently moved to Ojai so my husband, two young sons and I have been traveling to visit her a lot recently. On a whim, we decided to drive to Ojai a few weekends ago and reserved a family suite at another hotel, right up the street from Casa Ojai. When we checked in, we found the room at the other hotel to be dirty, hot, and not worth the nearly $250/night we were charged. We decided to move over to Casa Ojai which luckily had a room available. We were welcomed by an extremely sweet w... Read more

My husband and my adult daughter stayed 2 nights at Casa Ojai. What I liked about this hotel: large and comfortable room; very comfortable beds; nice and helpful staff; great location! They have have bicycles you can borrow and Ojai has a nice bike way. Room for improvement: natural light in the room. The room we stayed, has 2 small window what makes the room a little dark

If your looking for a lovely reasonable place to stay in Ojai ....this is it! Clean, comfortable, great down pillows and soft sheets. Appreciate the small refrigerator in the room. Indulged in the pool and Jacuzzi. Plus had a yummy breakfast included in the price of the room. The staff is warm and inviting, nothing was too much trouble for them. It's where I always stay when coming to this charming town.

I was very pleased with the service and amenities, the pool area was pleasantly clean especially the pool. Plus the beds were very comfortable. I was able to get a good nights rest, had a fresh cup of coffee without having to leave the room. Then had bacon and eggs offered every morning by the hotel. Enough to get ready for a busy morning. Also the staff was friendly, courteous an attentive!

We have used this inn on the way from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas simply because we like Ojai and vicinity. Besides wifi, there was nothing to comply about. Good location, clean rooms normal breakfast and nice people. I do not hesitate to rate five for this category.

The Ojai Inn is basic accommodations, very Best Western like, on the eastern edge of the downtown Ojai area but it is walk able to the main downtown area - about 15-20 minute walk to the arcade/Libbey park area. There is a trolley that stops right outside the inn as well that travels up and down Ojai Avenue, the main drag, but when we were there, it only stopped once an hour, so we never rode the trolley as the schedule was too in frequent for us. The average/Best Western-y rating comes from th... Read more

We only stayed for one night while we went to a family event. It was a nice room, bed was decent, shower pressure was great. We even had our own sitting porch at the entrance to the room. We didn't have time to take advantage of it. I thought they offered breakfast but my husband said there were only a few small items you could grab to eat. My biggest complaint about this hotel was the reservation process. Because we were in town for a family event, there was a reservation block available... Read more

The room (2 Q beds) was surprisingly large, and extremely clean. Very nice, soft towels and very comfortable. Wood floors were spotless, but I did wish I had brought slippers! The hotel is really more what I would consider a "motel" ... you just pull into a parking area surrounded by buildings with the rooms. No landscaping or other real decor to give it a hotel feel at all .. there is a pool which seemed to be used well by families - I had family staying elsewhere and used this location jus... Read more

Stayed here in an upstairs Queen eco room (cleaned without evil smelling chemicals) and slept very well indeed. We enjoyed the motel very much, excellent value for the money and a roomy, peaceful room. We liked the grapefruit scented bath products, too.

Our arrival set the tone for our stay - we had driven 8 hours and when we got to the lobby there were 3 people behind the desk and the woman "in charge" said "have some water and take a seat we will be with you in a little bit"... Seriously? There were no other customers there at the time. Not a warm welcome. The eco friendly surroundings are nice, but I had to flush the commode in my room 4 times every time I used it (I did report this on my first day) The woman who cleaned the room was lovel... Viviana at the front desk is great! I have never been so impressed with any employee before. Her friendliness, eagerness to accommodate and ability to calmly and politely multi task were amazing. She would be an asset to any company. She set the tone for a delightful stay. Our room was clean and quiet with very comfortable beds. Only constructive criticism we could find during the weekend is that we would have liked the breakfast bacon to be more crispy. Great stay!

Just stayed for one night but the beds are great. Big and comfortable. Breakfast is really good. The only thing is the location. We was on High way 1 and it's almost 40min uphill. So maybe a little bit far for just one night. But the motel it self is great!

We stayed one night at the Casa Inn hotel in Ojai, room 205 Cute room, clean and spacious. Great location, close to everything you want to visit in Ojai. This was our first visit to Ojai and we found the Casa Ojai a very good option for our stay. The room was clean and everything in working order. We picked this inn because it was dog-friendly and that it looked charming enough for our weekend getaway. The room we stayed in had hardwood floors that were perfect for our dog. I believe that a couple of rooms from the edge of the building are dog-friendly room with two queen beds and hardwood floors. The room was clean and linens were nice and fresh.
