This motel is in an industrial part of town, and may be uncomfortable for women travelling alone. Nice front office staff, though not very informative about directing you to your room. No ice in ice machine. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you, as it's right next to the 880 freeway; at least attempt to stay in the wing away from the freeway. Room was okay, but could have definitely benefitted from a wash down of the walls. Room 216: walls didn't need paint, but were dir... Read more

I had a very bad experience while stayed at this hotel with my babies for two nights . I requested over phone and by writing while booking that I want a lower floor room as they don't have elevator. They assured me. But when I appeared there they gave me a room at second floor. The lady at front desk (most probably her name was Nayana Patel) very roughly told me that I have to stay at upper floor without showing me any reason. I never faced this rough attitude while I paid 300 dollars. With two ... Read more

Like at the Rodeway Inn Civic Center in San Francisco, I was overall satisfied with the bed and the Internet connection. Besides coffee and Danish pastries, the "breakfast" also included a fresh fruit. Mainly there were no kitchen odors to bear! Besides, it was cheaper (both at a senior rate)! Actually, I was supposedly booked for an additional night through Travelocity/Expedia, but that reservation turned to be non-effective (the hotel was full); after a full hour of telephone negociation, Expe... I arrived well after dark. The hotel is not on a main road, nor at an intersection of the interstate. Those not familiar with the area will most probably have - at the least - a "heightened send of awareness" upon arrival. But the welcome from the clerk will quickly put you at ease. He was courteous, friendly and eager to be helpful. After finding my room, I again wondered if I had chosen poorly. The room was dark, with only a single bare bulb for illumination (at first) and marked by the fain... Read more

Very clean motel, recently refurbished. Not a prime location unless you are going to the sports stadium or arena. Not any eating places very close. I would stay again if traveling through, easy on off the freeway.

This is not the place where you will be sipping drinks with cute little paper umbrellas while watching the golden sun set to seaward beyond the palm tree. These days it is hard to find a decent place in this area for much less than twice this cost. It is simply a place to stay. It is in a light industrial area, right alongside I-880. I stayed here one night, then unexpectedly had to stay in the area the next night, so I have had two different rooms--one nearest the freeway, the other on the far... Read more

I was attending an Oakland Raiders Football game, and thought I would give this place a try. I had stayed at a number of places over on Hegenberger on the other side, and thought I would give this side a try. Initially, I was concerned because of the industrial neighborhood, but was pleasantly surprised once I pulled into the gate. Within the gated property, it feels like a really quaint little village, with little notice of the industrial nature of the neighborhood. Lots of parking, in a clean ... Read more

I agree with Robert R's review from April 2016. Room was clean even though worn, bed very comfortable, & was very quiet...slept great. The 2 negatives: water drizzled out of sink faucet and never did get hot; the breakfast was short on choices...packets of instant oatmeal (didn't see any milk), loaf of white bread, pre-packaged pastries & 2 juices. But, considering what we paid for one night ($112 with tax), guess you can't expect much more.

I was staying there with my family and friends. So at around 7.30 am there was a knock at the door saying room service. I applied the security lock and open the door slightly. Two guys from outside pushed very hard to open the door and started hitting me with an iron hammer on my head. My friend came and saved me. Before they left they hit my friend as well. I had to take 21 stitches in my head. Hotel authority failed to provide any sort of security. It was their responsibility to provide securi... Read more
