"I have to say... quite the false advertisement.
When I walked in, it was clean & the receptionist very polite. I was a bit early for check in, but she offered to take my bag & hold it for me.
Once I returned, I checked in & was informed there is no longer a continental breakfast offered as it stated when I booked the hotel. I was given my keys & the elevator appeared very nice & clean. I figured we were off to a good start.
Once I got to the 3rd floor, the hallways appeared gloomy & dirty. The worst part came when I opened my room. It was nasty!! The bathroom was dirty, clogged toliet, missing the toilet paper holder. The sheets were DISGUSTING. They had stains, the blanket had cigarrette burns & rips through out it. I could not stay in there. I went downstairs & immediately was offered a diiferent room w/ a queen bed. This was definately a more appropriate room.
It led out to the pool which was a HUGE disappointment. It had to have been months the last time someone cleaned it. It was completely filthy, nothing like the pictures on your website. I also wish I would have known the Metra passes right infront of the hotel every ten minutes. It made for an interesting nights rest.
To summarize this up, this hotel has so much potential. The staff is super friendly, but unfortunately poor management maintaining it. It needs a good makeover. Its in a good location, across from the pier, but completely run down. I would definately not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"While the staff was pleasant, the accomodations were shabby. It's not very expensive per night so don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. The room was clean but extremely worn out. The neighborhood is questionable. Since I was a single woman traveling alone, I was a bit scared of the area. They were very kind to cancel my 2nd night booking without a fee."
