We always try to stay at the Airport Hilton. The grounds are a welcome relief compared to a congested high rise. Excellent shuttle service is available to the stadiums and airport. Great breakfast is available and a sports bar is on site to kick back at night.

Spent one night for business hotel is nice and is close to restaurants and the airport. Rooms were comfortable only draw back is the parking fee. The hotel is spaced out into several buildings staff was very friendly and helpful. Would consider it again if in the area.

This is a very nice property located close to the airport. Very well maintained. Food from room service is excellent. A couple of things that need improvement. Not enough staff at the front desk, and people waiting in line too long. Parking is $13 a night. No mention of that until I got home and it was on the emailed bill. I don't care for surprises.

Not as nice as other Hilton properties. The facilities look like they were built in the 60s/70s and tried to remodel to modernize builds, but it did not work. Fitness facilities were well equipped, however was housed in a converted outdoor hallway. Overall the facilities feel like you are staying at an apartment complex, than a class hotel. The day I was checking out, the elevator was broken. The worst part of this location is that they charge hotel guests for parking.

Reasonably priced airport hotel with excellent bar and amazing appetizers. The room itself was clean and updated along with part of bathroom but the hallways are dated but clean. Parking was cheap for the bay area at $14 a night and secured access.

This hotel is very dated except that the beds were upgraded and comfortable (this is the reason for three circles). We stayed in building 3 and there was a terrible smell inside both the common area and the room. The air conditioner ran all the time and the temperature never got down to where we wanted it. I will say that the windows were pretty soundproof, but the people above us got up at 430 am and we could hear every move they made. They have in room dining that we didn't use but was a n... I was raised in the Oakland area and have passed this hotel for years and have never stepped foot on the property until a couple of weeks ago.(overnight layover) I think it was built in the 70s but it's in good condition. It's a little dated but that's part of the charm. There's a restaurant on site, and a pretty busy bar and grill. My room was clean and the bed was nice a comfy. There's plenty of free parking which I didn't need because of the free shuttle to the airport. The only problem ... Read more

We stayed for a night in Oakland and found the hotel convenient to the car rental return. As others have said it is a little dated and noisy from the room above. So ask for a room on the top floor. There is a restaurant/bar on the property that has decent bar food. Another restaurant is used to serve a buffet breakfast. Both are adequate for one night.

Bathrooms need an update. Internet didn't work the way in which was described at check-in. They attempted to charge for multiple nights of parking when only one night was utilized. It was taken care of, but it took multiple attempts for the front desk to correct the error.

You can do better. I want to see Hilton do better. Been proactive to solve customers concerned. if you promise to call them do so. Treat your guest fair. My take on is, Hilton only pretends to deal with you when reside in one of their rooms, Thus it makes it harder for me to recommend anyone to choose Hilton.

? Disappointed with the value. Accommodations did not come close to the expectations that I had with the Hilton name. Especially with the cost of the hotel. ? You have to be a rewards member to have free Wi Fi? Really? ? The pool closed at 7:00 pm. During the summer hours? ? Breakfast Buffet was pricy at $16.00-18.00? ? No fan in bathroom and horrible lighting.

We looked for a Hilton property to 'camp' at before departing from the Oakland Airport the next day. Unlike many airport hotels this place was a delightful stop. The hotel is spacious and spread out, and more like a cross between a hotel and a motel. Rooms were spacious. We took a room with a walk-out onto the gardens and pool area. Security was strong. I stay here approximately once every two months for one to two nights. I am Hilton Diamond so I usually get put on the Hilton Honors floor. As far as Oakland hotels go, this one is the best. They recently renovated parts of the inside of the hotel, so it looks vastly improved from before. The outside could use a bit of work as it resembles a 1960s era slab of concrete. Yes this hotel is a bit dated as others reviewers stated- but in a charming way. The layout of the rooms is more like a resort setting. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the outdoor pool, although it looked nice. The lower level rooms have patios- great for morning coffee. The staff was very friendly. I will continue to stay at this hotel and all Hilton Brands as soon as they get Reservation Agents at the Hilton Honors desk that speak "Clear English". These hotels are being hurt by the reservationists who can't form reasonable words in English, and screw up the reservations at the travelers expense.

While the service and amenities of this hotel are fine, and I understand from travelling companions that the rooms in the main section of the hotel were fine, we stayed in Building 3. I don't think that your quest who stay at your hotel should have to pay for parking. There is already a gate rail at the entrance with an attendant to keep out unwanted guest. If you enter the parking lot in order to leave you will have to pay to exit. I was given key card to enter the parking lot but only after I was charged $13.75. I was also asked if I wanted to pay for the WiFi. I will never stay at this hotel again. So not appreciative to the paying customers for the price of a one night st... Read more

We had our room in wing 3... not sure if that's a refurbished part of the hotel, but our room was perfect. Clean, spacious, comfy bed... all perfect. If anything I'd say the overnight charge for parking was a bit steep, but considering we got a great deal on the room and the fact that it's an airport hotel, not a deal breaker. They offer a free shuttle service to the BART station (as well as the airport) so there's another tick of approval

I'm surprised that Hilton allows this hotel to continue to carry its brand. The front desk reps appeared to be more interested in completing paperwork than being responsive to the hotel guests. Time after time, we stood and waited for a rep to look up from his/her work to assist us. It always felt as if we were interrupting. And the building looked dated and worn!!

the hotel is split into 4 buildings of rooms and one restaurant/convention hall. Easy parking near all the entrances. Rooms were clean for being so old but in need of a HEAVY clean not just the 5 minute daily check out spritz. The exterior is not very safe on an edgy side of town. I was assaulted by a fellow guest as I walked laps around the hotel. Apparently exercise while talking on a call is suspicious now. The dozens of feral cats were more welcoming than the other guests. Anyhow, this isn't... Read more

Stayed one night for an A's game. Perfect hotel for this. Shuttle takes from airport to hotel, another shuttle takes you right to the game and back. Nice restaurant with a great staff and service, best part of the hotel. Hotel itself needs some upgrades, renovations etc, but nothing too bad. Nice big fitness center. Hotel is literally across the street from airport, but heard no airplane noise at all

My Sister, Brother-in-Law all had a great stay. We arrived early and were able to check-in early, which was a great way to start off our weekend! Only recommendations would be better Internet service in rooms and room-service for breakfast. It also would have been nice if the Gift Shop had been open, especially on a holiday weekend.

This is the best option for staying close to the airport. The staff is very helpful, the hotel is very clean & comfortable, & the amenities are just what I needed. I have stayed at dozens of Hilton hotels, and while the staff was friendly - shame on the ownership or management for the condition. The rooms have been touched up, but the bathroom looks like it has been 25 years since a renovation. There is fit and finish in the bathrooms that is not likely allowed in economy budget hotels / never mind a HILTON. Very very disappointed. Also the layout with the sky ridges was unsafe, and doors propped open all over to make way for the NFL fans and parties that ... Read more

When I stepped in the shower/tub this morning, I could have sworn that the tub had been "waxed". Have never, ever, experienced such a slippery surface in a shower/tub. I've stayed here about 30 to 40 nights in the past year. The beds like most Hilton properties are great. The rooms were remodeled in late 2015, however the bathrooms are old. The breakfast is wonderful. They have both SAD and healthy choices. For dinner, you are going to have to drive somewhere if you want quality food. The bar has bar food choices and the hotel next door has better bar food choices, but still bar food.

The hotel, more appropriately called a motel with its multiple buildings, expensive parking, and bizarre layout, was affordable in an area with few decent choices. Checkin was awkward, the digital key on the Hilton app couldn't be made to work so that was a walk from the building in which my room was located back to the one in which the registration desk was located. Room was clean and comfortable, though common areas were poor at best.

If you need to be close to the airport, this is the perfect spot. The only downside is that they have multiple buildings. I would request to be in the main building to avoid a walk outside if the weather is not great.

Great property to stay at if you are flying in or out of Oakland International. Complimentary transportation to both airport and BART (public transportation). If you attend the Oakland A's baseball games it is great for a weekend stay as they will take you to BART station to walk to the game. Rooms have been updated and staff is very friendly and helpful. It's close to the airport and the coliseum so we've been able to finish business and enjoy a ball game or two during the season. While convenient and easy to get in and out while using Oakland Airport, this is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Hilton WAS one of my top three trusted places to stay for cleanliness, customer services, and cost for what is provided. This hotel stay will remove Hilton from my trusted list. I can handle the out dated fixtures but not a dirty room. When we arrived to have a light breakfast in the cafe, we were escorted to the very nice buffet not realizing there was a menu we could have ordered from instead. Therefore we all paid $20 each even though we didn't eat very much.
