From the moment we arrived we were greeted. After checkin-in we were provided with two warm cookies which was a good surprise. My room was a king size facing the pool with balcony. The balcony was in a corner so we had privacy, we were on the 2nd floor so we could look out at the pool area and sunset. The balcony was one of the main reasons I booked here. The room itself was spacious. One thing we really liked was the movable magnifying wall mirror, excellent for makeup application etc. One thin... Read more

Front desk staff are awesome. The cookies are delish. The pool and hot tub are very clean. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. I was with two boys and the font desk staff treated them like family. Nothing like staying at a Hotel but feeling the comforts of home.

The stay at the Doubletree was a pleasant one. Slight odor in the adjoining building but this did not affect my stay. The location was very convenient for my business trip and I will come back. Price point could have been a little better.

The only hotel I've been to that charges for use of a microwave! there is no microwave available in the restaurant or in the lobby therefor you are forced to "rent" one for $15. If they don't want to put a microwave in every room that's ok but at least have one on the property for use. Not good customer service for those who travel with their own food.

I wasn't expecting much because of the area but I was pleasantly surprised. Excellently room, hotel restaurant had a limited menu of very good food and pleasant staff. It's located near 880 which is a very busy commute corridor.

Stayed here for 2 nights with the family. The rooms are nice but as with the entire property, they're tired looking and could really use a facelift. Maybe its just me but the entire property smelled like bacon or breakfast food, don't know if that is a good thing? I stayed here once before many years ago. The kids got a room facing the front of the property and the wife and I ended up having a room facing the back. If you do visit this place, ask for a room facing the front of the property.... We had a two-queen-bed room with balcony. Room is clean, beds are comfortable. But only one chair. Wish there were two. Front desk staff are friendly and efficient. There are freshly caked cookies and fruits available for guests. They charge more if you don't book online. That's why I gave it 4 not 5.

Stayed here in July, front desk staff was extremely helpful, we arrived early, our room was not ready yet, so they allowed us to use the pool while we waited. We had 2 rooms, they were both spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. We had a garden room which had a nice view. Only con was no refrigerator in the room. Very unusual these days. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding and used more than 40 rooms for our guests. Our experience from working with the sales office to set up the room block & plan the dinner, to the banquet staff, the hotel bar staff, the restaurant staff and the front desk staff was superb. Everyone went out of their way to make sure that the weekend was spectacular.

Originally I checked into another hotel near the San Jose airport for roughly the same price which was horrible. I decided to move to this Double Tree and I am so glad I did, it was worlds better. Clean, contemporary, comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. It was a little further out so I had to commute to San Jose for my meetings but I would do it again and I am sure I will!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 3-night stay here. Our room was VERY large, comfortable and clean, and it had a very pretty view of a courtyard garden. It also had a large patio balcony to enjoy the view from. Everything appeared to be new and/or newly remodeled in the room giving it even more of a clean and comfortable feeling. The AC worked great.

We stay here whilst visiting family in Freemont and San Jose. It is very luxurious and it was really nice to have a room overlooking the courtyard with a balcony...it is a very big hotel so we got lost a couple of times. There were some big tour buses of teenage/ young adults staying and the first night they were noisy in the hallways. Wife and I had a great stay at this newish hotel in July 2016. When we arrived, our room was not yet ready. I asked if an upgrade could be arranged and one was produced straightaway by the congenial front desk clerk, a younger fellow who had spent time in the Navy. When he saw I was from Alaska, he told me of an epic 3-week port call he had in Homer, spanning the 4th of July. We got upgraded to a corner King Jr. Suite in the Garden section. Desperately need more that one luggage cart available. Two issues we had ... no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. The biggest issue ...the food served for our reunion dinner was such a disappointment !!!! if it was allowed, we would have spent the money to have it catered from an outside source.

Venue and rooms were gorgeous. The check in/out was easy and accommodating. The beds comfy and the whole place is modern, shiny, and clean. Negotiated cost of room per night was excellent. I was disappointed in our meal for the price, and the cost of the drinks or even sodas was out of this world. $5 for a coca cola.

Did not meet Hilton standards as I know them. Breakfast staff needs to be increased for quicker room service instead of always saying we are busy. Need maintenance to review all room systems and send representative that can communicate in English. Don't send a person in a green maintenance outfit to deliver my breakfast.

I stay at this hotel multiple times a year and have had very good experiences in the past. Unfortunately, I had a extremely poor experience during my most recent trip. During check in, Ms. Lee was extremely curt bordering on rude. The room I had was fine with the exception of cosmetic rust in the tub. There is an issue with the line chef arriving on time which results in breakfast starting late - 30 min late one day. Keep that in mind if you have an early start.
