Over all was great. Alcohol $$ felt like u were always being ripped off. Main restaurant menu ok. Makes you want to experiment off property. Spa pricing also excessive vs off property. But clean, beautiful, great service, cottages are very fun and private, killer views!

Wonderful service, great amenities and the breakfast at Boonfly is always one of the best parts of the trip! Getting greeted at the door upon arrival, with a glass of wine is a nice touch and the warm greeting by the staff was wonderful. The person who checked us in was very down to earth yet professional and made us feel right at home.

The facility, staff and cottages are amazing, as is the food. But hard to have a romantic weekend if you can't sleep in and still get breakfast without 40 minute wait. No reservations or priority to hotel guests at Boonfly - no other breakfast choice after 11am. Spa very pricey for average services. Loved the stay but would have to weigh price for value if staying again.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. We stayed from Monday until Sunday in one of their charming cottages. Large private patio with outdoor shower and heater. The bathroom had heated floors and the best smelling lavender soap I've ever used. Loved the bedroom that had glass doors opening out to the patio. The landscaping was beautiful and we walked to Boon Fly Cafe more than once (delicious!), and also had several meals at the restaurant overlooking the pool and vineyards. We took advanta... Read more

This is a beautiful property with exceptional customer service. Months before we even arrived I was receiving exceptional service from the concierge, Lisa. We had a lovely garden cottage which had plenty of space for the two of us. The grounds are very pretty and we were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Breakfast at the Hilltop Dining Room was delicious. I wish we had planned to stay longer and I hope we return soon.

Carneros Inn is truly something special. I went several years ago and again, this spring and I feel fortunate each time I come and stay and be able to experience this place. I host an annual event here so I have experienced their excellent customer service as a guest and as a event planner. First, the cottages are thoughtfully furnished and bathrooms are exceptional with heated floors and roomy outdoor showers. The bed is comfortable and luxurious. The front desk personnel upon arrival. BEST ANYWHERE EVER! It is always such a joy to arrive at the Inn. The accommodations are a lovely lovely design but do need a bit of upkeep/TLC. Walls in our unit were scuffed, ceiling needs to be repainted/touched up and fixtures need (interior French Door handles and toilet paper holder) to be tightened up a bit. Room darkening blinds or shades would be a lovely addition. Housekeeping does not appear to mop bathroom each day. Breakfast from Boonfly ... Read more

I don't want to sound bougie, but for the cost of staying at this resort, Carneros should be held at a high standard. With that being said, here is my review. Fiance & I stayed in the Lee suites (which is supposed to be one of the nicer cottages due to location, privacy & the fact that it's a suite). The resort is beautiful & spacious. The staff is friendly, but I didn't experience anything above and beyond. As an Amex Platinum holder, we usually receive a token of appreciation, but that was not... Read more

We got married here in 2009 after staying here several times before that. We have kept coming back every time we come to Napa to visit our family. This time we came with our daughter. The property and views are beautiful. The staff is great, and the food we had was fantastic! Even though we didn't get to spend as much time at the hilltop as we would have liked (since it is adults only...and it should be!), we all loved the family pool. We will continue to return. Staying at The Carneros Inn is simply an experience in itself. From the time you walk in and the greeting and first glass of wine poured to driving out and having them put a bottle of water in the car for the ride... It starts great and ends great and everything in between is consistant and made to make you feel like you definitely made the correct choice on a place to stay! Bob and Angie

Just as the title of my review implies, Carneros really is heaven on Earth. We just returned from a lovely 3-night stay at the Carneros Inn. Our room was cozy (small-ish), but bright and beautifully appointed, with vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, a large bathroom, and wall-to-wall windows onto our own private backyard, complete with a fire pit, outdoor soaking tub and lounge chairs (with a heater above). The rooms are so private that we didnâ??t see many other guests during our stay. (This could be because we went mid-week.) We had dinner at F A R M. Beautiful setting... Read more

The views from the restaurant are amazing overlooking the valley . The staff were always super helpful and getting around within the space is very easy . As the hotel offers SUVs free of charge for this ! Amazing stay with amazing food and wine , thoroughly enjoyed it

Our only complaint- if you could call it one- was that the resort is 25 minutes drive from most of the attractions in Napa. But if you don't mind being a little off the beaten path, this place is spectacular. The property is gorgeous- the restaurant and pool are divine. We got great massages at the spa. Our room was fantastic- indoor/outdoor shower, an outdoor bathtub and fire pit, beautiful gas fireplace, gorgeous linens, spacious bathroom. Very romantic!

My husband I got married early June 2016 at the Carneros Inn and it was an absolute dream! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gorgeous, stress-free Napa wedding. Besides it's amazing space, we originally chose the Carneros Inn because we were looking for a Napa wedding where we could have amazing views of the valley, our band could play past 11pm and we were allowed to serve hard alcohol. (If you've just begun your venue search, you may not know this but wineries/vineyards are... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a road trip...The cottage was beautiful, as were the amenities, a fridge stocked with soft drinks and water which we were told were complimentary...Robes and plastic flip flops, a fireplace, Nespresso Machine, indoor/ outdoor shower, separate soaking tub, we loved the private patio...We ordered room service and it was very good...I did notice that the counter in the bathroom seemed to have rings and spots on it as if it hadn't been cleaned properly,... Poolside views are spectacular. Cottages are warm, cozy and private. Housekeeping impeccable. Their deli had great gourmet food and plenty of seating outdoors. Breakfast was delicious and waiters first class. This was a restful getaway with no disappointments.

My sister and I plan a yearly trip together and decided to go to Napa. The experience at The Carneros Inn was exceptional. I had the pleasure of interacting with James Giffin, Director of Operations, during an early morning work conference call in the lobby. He asked me how he could help me...he brought me coffee, offered his office with a better internet connection, just went beyond the standard level of service you would expect at this inn. It was such a wonderful place to stay from the spa... Read more

We recently celebrated our anniversary at The Carneros Inn. The accommodations and service exceeded our expectations! Boon Fly Cafe was a favorite for dinner, and the spa was wonderful. The cottages were spacious and welcoming. We utilized the concierge prior to our arrival, and they helped us plan an amazing trip. We will definitely return!

For me, this was the perfect hotel. Classy, not stuffy, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, pleasant terrace, very friendly service, Good coffee machine and frothier in the room (with milk in the fridge), good room service. All in all, perfect.

We recently stayed at the Carneros Inn and really loved it. Checking in was very hospitable and efficient and overall the property is awesome! I love the idea of little cottages versus a hotel room. Each one is very well appointed, modern, cozy, and private. We stayed in a Harvest Cottage and were within a short walking distance to everything, Boon Fly, the gym, FARM, and the market. The grounds are lush and everywhere you go, it's like skipping through an orchard. If I had to rate the property ... Read more

What a beautiful property. I could not say enough wonderful things about our stay there for my 40th birthday. This was our first trip to Napa and I don't think we could have picked a more relaxing and gorgeous resort. I wanted a balance between wine tasting and relaxation and that's exactly what we received. The hill top pool and jacuzzi looks out across the most lovely rolling hills filled with vineyards. It's truly breathtaking. The private cottages gives you a very intimate and relaxed exper... My sister and I plan a yearly trip together and decided to go to Napa. The experience at The Carneros Inn was exceptional. From the moment we checked in to the dinner experience. We ate two wonderful breakfasts sitting at the bar at Boon Fly Cafe and enjoyed speaking with Jamin, while he made his Spicy Bacon Bloody Mary's. We also had the pleasure of having his wife be our waitress another night. She was equally as delightful. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the service was excellent. Athen... Read more

It was wonderful! We rented a fully equipped house with plenty of space. The kitchen was perfect, fully stocked with top of the line items. It had a private outdoor courtyard with a fireplace. There was a large, comfortable rooftop patio with a spectacular view of the rolling hills. The hot, dry days were followed by cool nights. Perfect for escaping the humid, hot August days on the East Coast. We learned it's also the perfect climate for grapes to produce the best wines. I was intrigued by the... Read more

We had an amazing room with a view, awesome room service, and wonderful wine. The service here was incredible. Everywhere we went, we were made to feel special and welcome. Thank you Carneros Inn for a wonderful anniversary. We'll see you next year!!

Very cute cottage setting; we had some concerns with housekeeping but over all it was a nice place to get away from the typical 'Hotel'. I wish they had a family section for cottages because of the kids and babies crying etc.

This place is the only place to stay in Wine Country. Everything about the resort is amazing, clean, comfortable and well thought out! The cottage options are great for quiet and privacy, complete with your own sweet back yard- try some Smores on the fire pit! The dining options are great, you never have to leave if you just feel like resting in for the day! The cottages are lovely and the bathrooms are amazing. The carneros inn is an experience for me. Every time I visit Napa Valley staying there is my highlight. This year's visit was great but the inn is getting dirty and unkept. My room had a loose bathroom door handle. The gorgeous hilltop pool had newspapers stuck to the fence. The hilltop has the most amazing view to sit back and relax, but the staff is not maintaining the grounds like they used to.

We spent 11 days in a lovely suite. All the rooms seem to be in small cottages, spread out over many acres, but there are valets who will transport you to any place in the resort, or you can walk. The distances are not really very great. Our suite had a living/dining room, two bedrooms with baths, kitchen, washer and dryer, and, best of all, our own extensive patio with loungers, sofas, a comfortable table and chairs with soft cushions, and our own private hot tub. The Caneros Inn is a beautiful resort in Napa. The grounds are lovely, the adult pool and whirlpool are set on a hilltop with a lovely view, and the rooms are done in cottage style, with each cottage boasting its own private outdoor space. There are also several nice restaurants. We had a good breakfast at Boon Fly Cafe and another at Hilltop. My wife and I spent three peaceful nights in a Harvest Cottage and loved it. The cottage itself is cute and very open feeling, despite being fairly limited in size. One full wall consists of windows & french doors that look out over a very large, very private patio. The bathroom is nearly as large as the bed/living area, with double marble sinks, a separate toilet area, deep soaking tub, and a walk-in shower that opened to an outdoor shower. Carneros Inn is top notch. What is essentially a glamorous trailer park (just look under the front steps at the wheels) is a perfect retreat for couples or families. I have to be honest I like to come here sans kids but my kids love their time here as well. First off, book this hotel using a Virtuoso travel agent. I joined with my girlfriend but the Inn is perfectly set up for families or couples looking for privacy with two pools and the cottage set up. If you're looking for a romantic getaway in Napa Valley, the Carneros Inn is a great place to stay. It is set up like a small town consisting of little neighborhoods within the town. When you enter the property you actually feel like you're just entered a small town with a general store, a meeting hall, a restaurant.
