We enjoyed the wine tasting, and the rooms were great, the breakfast was amazing, can't wait to return to Napa and to The Napa Winery Inn, the staff also recommended the close by restaurant Fume' it was amazing, make sure to have the Mac and Cheese side, it's the creamiest you'll ever have!

We stayed at this place for 2 nights. Not a review writer but this place deserved one. Colleague signed me up and it starts here. first didn't get the room requested but they gave me other rooms to look at. No big deal. The staff was great and polite. Although when we arrived a man wearing shorts approached me and offered help with my luggage. Thought it was a stranger until i saw his name tag. It was their maintenance guy. It was awkward at first but helpful. I felt home here. The wine tasting ... Read more

We stayed at The Napa Winery Inn for a week in May and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is nice and quiet and the staff was extremely kind and friendly. It is conveniently located by CA 29 so you can easily get to a lot of the wineries. They breakfast in the morning that included eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, croissants, toast and fresh fruit was excellent. And the Wine Hour in the evening is a real treat along with crackers, cheese, fruit and cookies. Would definitely stay there again. The... Read more

My wife and I spent two nights at the Napa Winery Inn. The inn is a member of the Choice Hotels chain located on the north side of Napa just off of highway 29. The hotel is a nice hotel catering to Napa Valley visitors. The inn staff are very friendly and helpful. We were in our room in just a few minutes. The rooms are large and very nicely furnished. The inn has an outdoor pool but could use more lounge areas inside. They provide a not fancy, but good (free) breakfast, and have a daily ... Read more

We had a very enjoyable experience here. During check in we received a bag for our dogs who were traveling with us. It contained a brand new rope toy, treats and a doggie bag. That was a pleasant surprise. The wine reception had some lovely wines, one white and one red. We did not have time to enjoy the pool but it looked very well maintained. There was also a shaded sitting area outside of the rear entrance to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast served our needs. It had eggs, bacon, sausage,... Read more

The Napa Winery Inn is in most respects a typical Choice Hotel like a Quality Inn or a Comfort Inn, except for the complimentary wine tasting each evening. The room and breakfast quality is typical of these Choice Hotel brands. The most distinctive feature is the location in the heart of the Napa Valley and a convenient "home base" for a Napa Valley wine tasting experience.

I recently stayed here with some friends for a girls trip to Napa. The staff here was so helpful, really genuinely nice and willing to go the extra mile. The room was clean and a nice size. The hotel itself was well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus as was the ice water and fruit available during the day. We missed the nightly wine tasting as we were out and about. Great location! I would definitely stay here again.

The purpose of our trip to Napa Valley was to attend a jazz and wine festival, and the Napa Winery Inn was centrally located to the 3 main concert venues, while providing great value. The accommodations were very comfortable, the staff was always helpful and friendly, the daily hot breakfast was hearty and satisfying, and the evening wine tastings of Andretti wines were a nice touch. Awesome! How anyone could give this place fewer than five stars is a puzzle to me. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Amazingly clean - perhaps one of the cleanest and best run hotels I have been in. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Non smoking hotel. Wonderful wine tasting (free) in the evening. And the breakfast - free and oh so yummy. Very convenient location to downtown and surrounding wineries. Easy access and close to some lovely restaurants especially a bistro next door.

Pros: Room: Cozy and spacious room Breakfast: Breakfast is good with all the essentials. Outdoor seating: There is seating outside the main entrance that belongs to the hotel where one can sit in the evening and enjoy wine and eats. Very nice ambience. Housekeeping: Good housekeeping. Cons: WiFi is terrible. Very slow.

My friends and I stayed one night and it was perfect! Really enjoyed the complementary wine happy hour and breakfast the next morning too! Only one minor complaint-- the breakfast scrambled eggs were odd and didn't taste good, but the pastries were delicious! The location worked well too-- only a few miles from the wineries we chose. Napa hotels are very expensive, this seemed to be a bargain at about $200 a night with taxes. The hotel is clean, right on Highway 29 with traffic going by all night. Fortunately the air unit in the window is loud enough that it covers the traffic noise. The beds were VERY comfortable and I slept well. I'm sorry to say that the only positive thing here is the position....and of course they are taking advantage of this...for the rest, they are kind of 10 years behind what an hotel on this category and price range should be. Located in northern part of Napa, right off the Santa Helena Hwy. No worries here, hardly any traffic at night so you will sleep well. Spacious clean rooms, friendly staff. Clean pool and hot tub. The breakfast is, well as on every other hotel in the area. Not something that will impress us travelers from Europe. It's walking distance to the center though if your after something that will last you into the day and prep you for wine tastings.

What a great find! This comfortable and clean hotel checked all the boxes for us: pool for my wife and a welcome for our other family member our golden retriever as well as being reasonably priced for a luxurious accommodation. My wife and I decided to visit our daughter and her fiancé who had recently moved to Napa. Since their house was not yet completely furnished, we decided to stay in a hotel. We opted for the Napa Winery Inn, based upon availability, price, and our mistaken belief that it was an "inn". The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the location was perfect! It was very similar to a Holiday Inn type hotel. Easy ride to Napa wineries or Sonoma wineries. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub each day after wine tasting and even enjoyed the free tastings (although it was the same winery each night). I would 100% recommend this if you are looking for a great price and do not need the "resort type" amenities. Besides, it's Napa! Get out of your room!

The Inn is located adjacent to a busy and somewhat loud road. The room was clean but worn and a dirty towel was in the bathroom. The happy hour wine reception is not a reception. A representative from a local winery provided a tasting from two of their wines. It was misleading to call it a wine reception since it is not. All hotels are priced high in Napa, especially on long weekends. This one was one of the lower priced. It is a motor inn, with free wi-fi, breakfast and wine in the afternoon. It is very convenient to the wineries because it's right on the highway. The room was spacious, but basic. A/C was really noisy, so we slept with window open.
