Good breakfast included. Our room was relatively spacious; however, it was very noisy. You could hear the adjoining room, people in the hallway and the kids running around in the room above us way to well!

Visiting Napa on a girls' overnight and chose this hotel for its location. I often stay at Best Westerns because they are very consistent in quality. This hotel did not disappoint. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great customer service.

We stopped here for 3 nights for my best friends wedding, the rooms and breakfast were absolutely fine, clean and the staff were friendly. It's just outside of town but has a couple of restaurants nearby by. The only slight downside I would say is it is slightly overpriced for what you get for your money

Great hotel located in between Napa and all wineries. I always recommend this place to friends and family. Good variety of breakfast selections which is perfect for those people that start wine tasting at 10AM.

You can always expect the same of Best Western as with most chains, but the location of this property heightened the experience. Nowhere was too far to all the fabulous vineyards and wineries. Room with 2 Queen beds, 3 adults, was comfortable but very cramped, bathroom was especially small, however, room and bathroom carried usual amenities. We were on the ground floor, no view to speak of but handy for the pool and parking but the WiFi connection in the room was frustrating, kept dropping, wou... Read more

We started our stay at another place and needed to quickly leave there. We chose this location based on the pictures and price. We were not disappointed. The room was large, clean and efficient. Love the sink separated from the shower. Made getting ready for a wedding much easier. This room was even better than the one charging $600 a night!

This place is awesome. I would stay here again. The rooms are nice, breakfast is delicious, service was awesome. The pool was terrific. The lady at the front desk recommend a really nice winery that we loved and went to again the second day. There is a Mexican restaurant next door, which has good text mex food and the servers there are terrific. We would go back. After this trip it made me want to always want book with best westerns. I wish they all had this type of customer service.

Nice accommodations at a good price. Breakfast brunch an added plus! Good location in Napa - close to many of Napa's shops and restaurants. Clean room with comfortable beds. Great shower!?? And that's all I have to,say about that!

I stayed at this hotel right at the cusp of it turning from a Best Western to another hotel (The front desk staff explained this to me since I could not get credit to my Best Western rewards account for this stay). The location is convenient as it is right off Highway 29 and walking distance to two restaurants, but the biggest selling point is its proximity to other things. I stayed here because it was a short 10 minute drive to the Napa Valley Balloon's meeting spot at Domaine Chandon, and sin... Read more

Our visit here was from 6/24/16-6/26/16. The hotel was average. We had to switch rooms when we checked in as it wasn't cleaned very well. Lipstick marks on pillows and smears on the bed, and AC control pad on wall had a sign that read "out of order use control on AC unit." We called front desk and was told they were on their way to switch the pillows out, we waited over an hour and no one showed up so we ended up moving. The second room was better, but the bed made so much noise we woke the ot... Read more

Nothing really "Best" about this Best Western Property. Outrageously overpriced for what it is. Checked in and went up to room and upon inspection saw that the pillow sheets were dirty and wrinkled, they were def. not changed which made me question the cleanliness of the whole room. Room was not adequately cleaned. It did not appear as if they had vacuumed or dusted and if they did they did not do a good job of it. I informed the front desk and they said they would send someone up to change the ... Read more

What a great hotwire find, everything was perfect. Beds are a tad hard but not that bad. Service and location was perfect for our first visit to the area. Would definitely recommend. The decor was modern and beautiful and everything was clean.

Good interiors, close to a mexican restaurant and wineries. About a mile from shops. But our room had bad AC. The thermostat had low battery and the AC kept shutting itself off every 2 hours. Had a choppy sleep.

It's my personal opinion that these negative reviews should be read with some perspective. This is not the nicest place in Napa, but it's also not priced or marketed as if it is. The room (2Q, main floor) was a typical-size, with ample-enough bathroom space; very clean, good AC (though not even necessary at night in July). Nights are not silent, but are very tolerable; the front desk was quite helpful with everything from a defective key card (I put it by my cell phone, so totally my fault) to... Read more

This was a Best Western a few months ago....My passport was left behind when we checked out. They confirmed they had the document and agreed to mail it back - at my expense and insured. They obtained my credit card info - including the security code - for postage costs. The passport never arrived - because they mailed it to a third party!!! To make things even better - someone tried to use my credit card...to purchase airline tickets and some other online purchases. Cost me over $200 to rep... Read more

The Napa area is expensive and this is a relatively inexpensive hotel option, particularly in the summer. I have stayed here before and it is a consistently average hotel. Not bad, not great, just average. The motel is a wee bit outdated although the rooms aren't that outdated. It is clean which is really important. However, the beds/pillows aren't that comfortable - at least to me. Plus the walls are relatively this so you can hear the tv being played in an adjacent room. The wifi is hit and m... Read more

My 2 teenagers and I checked in after a very late flight, around midnight, exhausted. We got our keys, hauled all our stuff upstairs to our room, and the keys didn't work to open our room door. We went back down to the lobby. They gave us new keys. We got into the room only to find it had not been cleaned from the last guests. We went back down to the lobby. The lady at the front desk felt so bad for us, she apologized profusely, and quickly upgraded us to the suite. WE LOVED THE SUITE! ... Read more

My stay there was absolutely fine. Nothing notable. I mean nothing. Overpriced and over-rated as a best western or a comfort inn or a travel lodge. Towels by the pool might have been nice! But there weren't any. The air conditioning could have worked! But it didn't. There could have been a refrigerator in my sister's room! But there wasn't. They could have had room service but they didn't. I did, however, sleep well...

We stayed at this hotel in June booking for 1 night via booking.com but extending to an extra night as we arrived in town earlier than expected. The woman at the reception agreed that she would charge me the same as she was charging for the booking.com fee per night - 2nights in total. However upon returning back to the UK I have checked my credit card and noticed I have been massively overcharged by them. Found this hotel to be clean, newly renovated, good breakfast selection and friendly staff. My only recommendation would be to get a room that faces the parking lot and the pool. Avoid the room (124) that has the elevator just basically in the back of the bathroom.

We drove to Napa from Bakersfield. We arrived and checked in. Our room smelled damp and musty soo we requested a change. We were upgraded to a suite. Nice so far. We moved to our new room and fell into bed exhausted after a light meal downtown. The next morning when we got up. We discovered that our sheets were filthy..soiled with blood and body fluids that were not ours. It was disgusting. Furthermore, my nightgown got blood on it which would no wash out. I just stayed in the Ivy with my family. There were a couple of negative comments about the hotel, which we cannot confirm at all. It is a reasonable good hotel (I would rate it good which TA does not offer) - not an outstanding Napa vacation stay- but solid and for the 190 $ we paid a good deal, considering the location. It included breakfast.

Stayed 4 day here and enjoyed every day and night. It was hard to book as it was a Best Western until recently and hard to get a hold of. Expedia.ca solved that problem. Booked and paid in Canadian dollars which is a big bonus. Typical free breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausages. Need to be early to get a seat. Room had a fridge which is always a nice touch. Staff super friendly and rooms clean. What more do you need when touring this fabulous wine country? One thing ... A Nap... Read more

Had booked for 4 days and so arrived with some trepidation after reading some reviews. Arrived early and check in gave us a room as soon as one was available. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed and linen excellent. Rooms well serviced each day. No patches, damage, items missing in room etc. Pool was clean and tidy. On one of the days all of the towels had been used and a new basket arrived within a couple of minutes of asking. Price is well below average in the Valley so would have expected so me is... We stayed at the Marriott in Napa for 1 night and were very satisfied with our stay. First off, the hotel has been remodeled beautifully. The pool is amazing with poolside service. The spa is also wonderful and complimentary for guests. They also give you a complimentary glass of wine as well as a featured winery tasting in the lobby. Overall we were impressed with the cleanliness, service and amenities.

I had looked up the reviews before booking the place and felt like It was going to be nice place to stay for my three day trip to Napa. However.... The problems started the very first night. Our room was next to a service /hotel laundry room. There was a constant (loud) humming sound coming from the room that was hard to ignore and kept us awake till midnight. We loved this hotel! We got four rooms for a great price. Two happened to be joined so we were always leaving the doors open (they had to be propped open). We loved that the toilet & shower were in one room with the beautiful sink outside it so we could get ready. On the outskirts of Napa town but selected only for proximity to renowned Don Giovani restaurant. Somewhat drab and dark. Very odd bathroom layout - shower room with bench with sink outside. Odd. Awful bed that creaked and groaned. Room next to hotel laundry that was really noisy until 11pm. When complained offered to move room at 10pm after all unpacked. If other rooms available why use this noisy room in first place. No ironing board, no fridge, erratic hair-dryer. Window facing a building sit... Read more

You can spend a lot of money staying in Napa, and this hotel was quite ok and at a fair rate of under $200 a night. Rooms were quite spacious, had all the amenities needed, plenty of free parking and free internet. Breakfast was pretty good with lots of options (included in rate). In short, a good place to consider if you are staying a night or two.

Napa is crazy expensive for hotels at the weekend. Once you accept that and realise value for money is an alien concept, The Ivy does a good job. The hotel is going through a renovation project so there were areas which were a bit patchy but overall it was a good choice.
