I enjoyed staying at this Inn, it is in a good location, walking distance from Castro Street, which is basically downtown Mountain View. The rooms are rather large and always kept clean due to the daily housekeeping serve. Breakfast is included and pretty good. The staff is very friendly.

We spent two days at the Hampton Inn for a wedding and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. The lobby was large, clean, and amenable to large or small groups of us meeting up, easy on the children and the adults. The beds were very comfortable, and the room felt new and clean. Enjoyed it very much.

I recently spent one night at this hotel. The hotel was very clean and new. There was plenty of free parking on site. The room was bright and in great condition. There was a free breakfast which was a nice bonus. The hotel was in a great central location close to Mountain View and not too far from Palo Alto. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We planned a family reunion with our adult children. We enjoyed the great local restaurants. Access to the Caltrain was 2 minutes away, so we were able to enjoy the city easily. We took a local hike and returning home from SJ airport very easy.

The accommodations are great! The crew is very compromised and the localization is awesome because is very near to Castro Street, with all restaurants and night life in Mountain View (like 5 minutes walking) and 3 minutes walking from the Caltrain station.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were very comfortable (nice large bed, a couch, ...), the internet was fast, and cable channels (like HBO) were included. Breakfast wasn't *amazing* (the scrambled eggs were a bit dry, over-cooked) but it was pretty decent and quite convenient.

The hotel is about 10+ min walk from the Caltran Station, so a bit of hike (but not too bad) and not central to the downtown restaurant area. But, it's clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast consists of average, standard items (bagle, muffins, scramble eggs, sausage links, cereal, waffles, some fruits). The coffee is a bit weak, juice too sweet and watery.

VERY nice Hampton Inn IMHO We had 2 nights and would have booked a 3rd but it was fully booked and the price had tripled. A very nice breakfast, and an adequate space to eat and enjoy it. IF you book in advance I believe you can get better prices. But Mountain View is FAR to expensive for the size room and amenities thank you

Not bad. Everything was just fine. But for $312.46 it was too expensive. If they're going to charge that much, surely I can get a real ?? not paper ?? plate for my breakfast. And surely someone could wipe the crumbs off the table before I sat down. For that money, I'd expect a real breakfast rather than the cafeteria-style hot table. Don't misunderstand: I don't think it was _bad_. I just don't see how it was worth $312.46.

Our family stayed overnight at the hotel after a wedding during a heat wave. The room was pristine, though somewhat small. It helped that it had a pullout bed and the A/C worked efficiently. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary popcorn on the bar and the mouthwash in the bathroom! The toiletries were Neutrogena products, which we love and they even provided ear plugs and makeup remover wipes. Everything worked efficiently. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Called a cab for us to get over to Shoreline and directed us to places downtown in Mt. View for dinner. We ended up walking back from Shoreline after the concert. It was a bit of a hike, but not a big deal and night was lovely. We did get up in time for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. My husband appreciated the bowl of apples and the coffee on the go was nice too.

I stay at the Hampton Inn in Mountain View whenever I go visit my daughter at Stanford University. It is about 30 minutes away from the university but the difference in price makes it worth the drive. Hotels situated in Palo Alto are twice as expensive. The rooms at this Hampton Inn are very spacious, they serve a very nice breakfast and there is ample parking. Great alternative to hotels nearer Stanford.

Clean & quiet room. Average breakfast. Parking was tricky. Very good location on a very busy street. The front desk staff asked for more information than we usually have had to provide, a first for us as Hilton honors members for 20 years. Evidently we broke some sort of ID protocol: our honors membership & debit card was in my name and my husband checked in. Nothing new as this is how we always make reservations. Even though this hotel is centrally located, the overall standard could be a bit better. My room was located on the ground floor at the end of the hotel facing the street (not really suited for single ladies traveling). My colleagues checked in before me and got much nicer choices... and I am sure there would have been availability. Due to time constraints I didn't bother to ask for a change of rooms.

The staff is amazing: all are very nice and professional. Place is well maintained and rooms are clean. The lower rating is mostly because of chemical-cleaning solution smell due, I think, to fact that hotel allows pets, and that makes it hard for those of us with allergies and asthma. So the problem is more with Hampton Inns in general--we were reminded why we can't really stay there. But if you don't have these issues and stay regularly in Hampton Inns, this is a nice one.
