This is a small 10 room motel. About the only thing that was a minor issue is the thin walls, as we could easly hear the TV in the next room. Location was good, just off the highway. Breakfast was provided in the lobby. Internet worked well.

Nice and clean place for good price. Very friendly and helpful couple who worked there. Room closest to the street, but didnt bother us. Got a good sleep. Free parking. Breakfast was ok. Good location, close to the big grocery store where you can get take away food. Good stop when doing South Pacific Road Trip ;)

We had a group of 18 people we had to get a room down the street at the travel lodge on the same block for someone that showed up and it was 3 times less and i would rate it better or the same as the rooms we were in. For what we payed I would of though that we were in a real nice place. NOT

I thought I made a reservation at the large Super 8 on Munros Ave and didn't realize there was more than one. We couldn't change our reservation so we had to stay. Turned out it was a good thing after all. The motel is very small, but the room was fine; average size, comfortable and very clean. The staff was also very nice. They have one small table and a continental breakfast. BEST THING There is a Denney's right across the street and it turned out to be super convenient during our two n... Read more

My family and I attend a 3 day reggae festival every year in Monterey. We have stayed at this location for the past couple of years and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. We love the staff and look forward to seeing them again next year

The hotel is clean and has updated rooms and bathrooms. Good beds and positioned well for visiting Monterey City or just traveling through. The lobby only opens after 7:15am. Keep this in mind for early check out. The team is friendly and willing to accommodate.

Small but the cleanest and newly remoldeled down to the toliet and tub motel I have ever stayed in. Wonderful mattress. The best Super 8 I have experienced......Area a little questionalbe but after looking futher on it was just an older area. Qwners were wonderful. If you dont want to pay for alot of extras like a pool and excercise rooms etc. its a great place to lay your tired head,

The room smelled funny it was in a weird neighborhood where a lot of homeless people were but I guess that can't be helped but they could do a lot better job at cleaning

We came to Monterey for a weekend getaway! We stayed at the super 8 since it was very close (10mins walking distance) to the fairground and there was the tattoo convention that we had plan on attending. This super 8 was super clean! The front desk person got us checked in upon arrival was nice and courteous. Once settled we left (10-15mins drive) to cannery row & fishermen wharf. We ended up returning to super 8 around 11ish PM and was lucky enough to have found 1 parking space left. Overall thi... Read more

I checked in on Saturday around 1:30 pm and the room was ready, I laid down took a nap, very comfortable bed. Room was clean, everything worked. As the evening approached and the hotel filled up it was still very quiet in the room, great sound barriers between walls. The room is very plain but functional with desk and office type chair included. I enjoyed that right across the street is Denny's. One thing I noticed was there was not an iron in the closet but there was an ironing board. I would s... Read more

This friendly, clean motel is across the street from the large and attractive Del Monte shopping center, complete with Whole Foods, Macy‚??s, a pharmacy, restaurants, theaters and many other shops. It is also on the road to Carmel (about 3 miles away). The first turn off in the Carmel direction is 17-mile-drive. I would suggest to take the 17-mile-drive early and enjoy the views without the crowds and traffic. At our Motel we were happy with the breakfast bar that opened at 7:00, but also with ... Read more

Was between two hotels and decided to go with Super 8 because it was closer to where we were traveling the following day. The room was so clean and comfortable. Exceeded expectations quite a bit. Everything looked as if it had been renovated. The bed itself is worth coming for (ridiculously comfortable).

Clean, decent sized room, ok furnishings. Forget breakfast and walk across the street to Denny's. I was there at peak tourist time and it was sold out. Priced on the high side for budget, but demand was high too.

Welcoming easy check in. Spacious clean room with comfy King bed. Bath and shower. Fridge and microwave. Nice looking pool but it was too cold outside to use it! Free parking, breakfast and in good location. Opposites shopping centre and town walk able distance. I Would stay here again :)

Traveling through Monterey and reserved a place here. After a long day of driving, we just wanted a quiet place for some rest and solitude. The motel is very small and the owners live on site. Our room was next to their living quarters and we could hear them talking into the night. Also I felt they asked a lot of personal questions at check in. The room was clean and comfy nut had a strong odor of cleaner. Overall it was a decent place to stay but I just didn't feel like there was much privacy.

It was a really nice room. Pretty small but good enough to sleep in and go the next day. Breakfast was not as great as was made to be. They did charge us $100 more dollars than what trip advisor sold us for. Not to happy about that and still trying to figure out why. Overall it was the cheapest place we could find in the area.

An older motel but very clean and owners live on site to offer any assistance you might need. Very polite and helpful. We just needed a one night's stay while traveling through Monterey and this motel worked out well. Easy parking. Breakfast was provided but it was very limited. If you need a more substantial breakfast there is a Denny's right across the street.

There was a fire nearby and so I think every hotel backed up prices. The rate was outrageous, but we needed a room. Breakfast was tough because the lobby only fits about 6. So,you had to squeeze in and around folks and head back to room to eat. Bed was comfortable. Coffee pot still had coffee in it from previous guest. Lol

The room was comfortable and clean and having a Denny's across the street was convenient. The only problem with the unit was finding a few ants in the bathroom.

We were surprised at this little Motel. We checked in early and the desk person was friendly and her English was very good(this is not always the case) she was helpful. We needed to be out until late and we wanted to secure our rooms. The rooms were very clean and recently painted, the beds were comfortable and the décor was well done. Breakfast room is a little small for the number guests, food was adequate and plentiful.

Well managed and family run property. Much nicer than most of the Super 8 properties I've been at recently!
