I have two days with my family stay in Pacific Inn and it was a good choice here. It has quiet hotel environment, good self-made breakfast, and convenient location for nearby restaurants. Also there is very nice front-desk service person to help you if any questions or tour advice. We enjoy the stay here.

We stayed one night in our way south on highway one. Everything is a little small with the big cars but it's ok. The rooms are nice and clean. TV works and small supermarkets are close. Breakfast was really nice and the staff was super friendly! I would highly recommend!!

Very cute room. Newly remodeled. Check in staff was very nice. Surprisingly quiet rooms. Pet friendly. Free wifi! I stopped here with my friends recently since it was a good price online. I was kinda worried that since it was so cheap, it would be sketch. But it was actually nice! The pillows and beds were so comfortable. Sheets were super clean. The only problem I had was it looked like the top of the toilet seat hadn't been cleaned. Otherwise, it was great. I would definitely recommend this h... Read more

Rooms are newly renovated and are clean with comfortable beds. The hotel is located about 15 minutes drive from Monterey town and the beach. Can be used as a base to take the scenic 17 mile drive which will pass through Pebble Beach. Continental breakfast can be improved though.

We stayed one night here and it was kinda crappy. The rooms are newly renovated, but it's not very well constructed and most of the furniture is old and dingy. The bed felt clean, but the floors were super dirty. The toilet kept clogging even from just toilet paper. No plunger in the room...staff came quickly and unclogged it, but just carried their tools dripping toilet water throughout the whole room. Breakfast wasn't very good...you're better off just sleeping in instead of planning on eati... Read more

Recently refurbished rooms, maintained to spotless condition. Free breakfast and parking. Friendly reception staff. Convenient location with easy access to Hwy 1 and by car to Fishermanâ??s Wharf, Cannery Row, Monterey Aquarium and 17 Mile Drive (donâ??t let the $10 toll put you off this coastal gem that takes you around the scenic Monterey Peninsula and through neighbourhoods of jaw dropping mansions). We found the Pacific Inn in Trip Advisorâ??s hotel reviews when I would describe it as being ... Read more

I was traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles and needed an overnight stay. The rating for this hotel were 50/50 so I was iffy about going but I was only needing it for one night. I was short on time or I would have stayed longer because I did enjoy my stay. Hotel staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for three people. Hotel was also close to several restaurants, shops and the beach. Price was also reasonable.

My husband is attending school in Monterey, so Pacific Inn was our first introduction to our new town. First, we came to find that Pacific Inn is in a pretty good location. Granted, everything here is no more than 20 minutes away, but it's close to NPS, and the Del Monte shopping center. The rooms were clean and recently renovated (the showers were very nice). The only criticisms my family could offer are: the construction. During the day there was construction going on, so there was construct... Read more

I stayed here for one night looking for a quiet, inexpensive, good night's sleep. That is exactly what I recieved. The rooms are completely remodeled and costis quote low for the area and good quality of service. It's 9 minutes from uc monterey bay, 8 minutes from fisherman's wharf, and 10 minutes from cannery row. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling on a budget conscious trip to Monterey.

Our room was huge, bathroom was too. Everything was real clean. Beds were comfortable. Had a refrigerator and a microwave. Young man at front desk was very polite and helpful. Would stay here again if we are ever in this area.

Arriving late we had no idea what to expect. However, the room was very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The following morning, a free breakfast was provided until 9:30 AM, a bit on the early side.

This place is possibly one of the few hotels in the area that is pet friendly, which is nice since there is a lot to do with your pet in the area. You do have to pay extra, though. It is also one of those places that looks crummy on the outside, but has excellent looking, clean rooms. Everything in our room looked new and modern. The parking was a bit weird. The hotel shares a small lot with the neighboring restaurant. Additionally, parking spots are scattered randomly throughout the place and... Read more

We were looking for a last minute room in our way to Monterey, and we found the Pacific Inn. Compared to a lot of inns along the coast we found it to be very reasonable. The rooms were modern, clean and had all the facilities you would expect. In fact it had many more TV channels than we have come to expect (not that we spent much time watching it as Monterey has so much to offer). There was also an on sight laundry and breakfast, again for the price point and what we have previously experienced... Read more

Room was large! ( room 210) very clean, recently remodeled bathroom, breakfast was ample with diy hot waffles. Decided to stay an extra night. A bit pricey though, but that s because of the season probably.

Looks a little shabby on the outside but we were pleasantly surprised when we got into our room. Very modern, clean and comfortable. It is a little noisy with noise from the road and you can hear everything from outside. We were on the first floor and could hear people upstairs moving around but we slept with earplugs and had a great nights sleep. We only stayed for one night as passing through but I would happily stay here again.

From the outside it may look like an older motel but the rooms are reonnovated, clean and very modern. Very spacious too as we had 3 people and luggage. It was a perfect place to see Monterey and then big sur.

We have had a really pleasent stay at Pacific Inn. Clean, comfortable and renewed room. It needs improvement on breakfast. No variety, too simply and not enough space to fit guests. The hotel location is not in the downtown neither near of the fisherman warf (whale watching point).

Pacific Inn was easy to find after coming off the motorway with it being conveniently located. It is situated on the main road with food amenities nearby. We arrived mid morning and were able to leave the suitcases at check-in and given a key for our room that we could use in the evening when we returned back to Pacific Inn. Luggage was brought directly to our room. Room was recently renovated, very spacious including the bathroom and simply superb! Highly recommended and at the price we paid,... Read more

Mostly carb choices for breakfast. We are used to seeing more protein choices. Yogurt would be a good addition. The milk for the cereal was not cold because it had been sitting on the counter for too long. Parking was inadequate for the # of rooms.

Room was large and very clean. Totally adequate. Breakfast area was tiny. About 10 by 12 feet with 3 tables. Hardly adequate for 36 rooms of people. Just gave up the first day. Walls are thin. We had loud talking keep us awake two of our three nights. All that said, doubt if we would come back.

The room itself was quite nice for the money, the bathroom was totally updated and modern and actually quite well done, almost bordering on beautiful with its tile work and choices kudos to your updates. Now to the ambient room noises from outside they weren't actually bad at all. I cannot say that about the inside of the room. In my opinion the small black and Decker refrigerator either needs looking at in room 116 or replaced . Every time the compressor kicked on it would wake me up, I ... Read more

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. In fact the nicest bed that we stayed in during a 2 week west coast trip. Breakfast was very good and the novelty of a waffle maker was well received from the usual cereal and toast options from other hotels. Location is not too close to the harbour/pier front so you would need a car to access those areas. The hotel wasn't the best price paid during the stay and potentially we felt we paid over the odds for this hotel considering what we paid for oth... Read more

The hotel externally may not look as brand new but the rooms are renovated and very clean. They do not have the ubiquitous carpets of most of other hotels. Instead they have hardwood-like floors that help keeping the room clean. Beds are new and comfortable.

Good sized rooms, clean and comfortable bed. Great walking distance for Monterey Jazz Festival and any other shows at Fairground- however too far out for town-centre and coastal trips. Walls are pretty thin - so you may hear neighbours' activity !

Room looked very modern, new carpeting, everything clean and bathroom looked spotless with new plumbing fixtures. Wife had to go on YouTube to figure out how to turn shower on. When nature calls and you go to bathroom grab the toilet paper as that they forgot to install a holder. Pretend you are in Vegas if you are curious as to the time, there is no alarm clock in room. Over all is a great room and had a good nights sleep and close driving to Cannery row and the Fishermans Wharf. Free breakfa... Read more
