Hotel is well worn, but adequate. The worst thing (and this goes for all HGIs that still have them) is they are still using that nightmare sleep system bed. I dial both sides of the bed deep into the black band and still sink to the bedframe. When I try to exit the bad I have to roll uphill. I've had enough of this bed. Not once in the past three years have I had one that works properly.

Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Inhouse restaurant for convenience, and a few more within walking distance. Cisco is about 1 mile away, 49ers staduim isn't far away either. Good running trail close by. Might be a bit pricey, but everything near the stadium seems to be pricier now.

For the most part, this hotel delivers for business purposes. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is generally clean and bright. It's situated in a very convenient location to our corporate offices as well as to many mid-grade restaurants, reducing the need to drive all over. Walking back from a restaurant on a warm evening was a welcome change.

Very comfortable; the staff is very polite and courteous. There is a nice restaurant and bar. Also conveniently located near some nice restaurants (Banana Leaf). Located near the 237 highway so you can get downtown San Jose rather quickly and very close to the Levi's Stadium. And in the evening you are welcomed in the lobby with chocolate chip cookies. What else can you ask for?

Room was modern and clean. Bathroom was also very clean. Choose a room that does not face the highway to reduce noise if this may bother you. Location is awesome for anything in the San Jose/Milpitas area. The hotel shares a parking lot with In-N-Out burger. There are tens of stores and places to eat within 5-minutes of the hotel. Parking is free. The breakfast is $14.95 plus tax, which I thought was too high to partake in. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. Convenient business cente... Read more

We booked this hotel last minute for a trip to the nearby Shoreline Amphitheater. It's not directly adjacent to the theater like other Hilton family hotels but the rate was MUCH cheaper. It is about a 15 minute drive from the venue which makes it ideal after a long night at a concert. We stayed here and took advantage of the hot breakfast in the morning, and the service was just fine. I wish I had time to use the pool but we just ran out of time. I highly recommend this to people wanting to stay in the area. It is very close to shopping and there is a In & Out Burger right in the parking lot. We got a great deal with Hotwire so keep a look out!

I have been staying at this Hilton Garden for years. But I guess I either have to stop, or stop reserving the King rooms. The adjustable air beds they use have, from what I can tell, ALL developed leaks. They are no longer adjustable, they just sink in about 5 inches and you sleep in an indentation in the mattress. This hotel is ok, but it is just ok and there were a lot of little things that were annoying. One is the location itself - getting into the property from the local freeways is easy, but getting back to the freeway requires a nav unit. Breakfast was ok, but not being offered coffee was unusual. Room was comfortable but the climate control was a little random and the desk chair was kind of flimsy. With any service the proof as they say, is in the delivery of that service and the Hilton Garden Inn San Jose/Milpitas has fallen well short of the high standards Hilton and its HHonor booking system set themselves. Yes there are notices around the property apologizing for incovenience due to remodeling. However, one does not expect to be woken before 8a on a SATURDAY by the sound of debris hitting the bottom of an empty metal dumpster. To make matters worse, the construction team was in full use of one of the two passenger elevators, which caused an unnecessarily long departure experience. Use caution when booking.

Fairly dated, okay a few updates here and there, extra plugs for phones and such, but the big things have been allowed to run down a bit.
