We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was spacious, very clean, and decorated with nice furnishings and a very comfortable bed. It's obviously an older hotel, as many on pieces of prime property like Marina del Rey are, and it's not a huge skyscraper. It's quaint, with 8 or 9 ft. ceilings and nice crown moldings, draperies, and amenities. The bath could use some simple updating (sink drain stoppers, etc.,) but was marble and perfectly clean. We felt like royalty in our huge room. Service at the ... Read more

Very nice hotel in marina del ray. Great hot tub and pool. All you would expect from a Ritz Carlton. There are not that many restaurants in the immediate vicinity but the views of the bay make up for it. Close to Santa Monica and many great attractions.

Stayed here for four days, due to work, but this hotel was an absolute pleasure. Large rooms with classic decor and great room service. A super contemporary bar and restaurant - great for unwinding at the end of the day. Whilst I didn't have time to enjoy it, there was a beautiful pool with ocean views and a lovely looking spa. The staff were very accommodating and I was on the 'executive level' package which meant to you had free reign over the executive lounge, with complimentary breakfast,... Read more

Looking for a new experience to our many visits to Los Angeles, we decided to try this hotel and location hoping for something a little different. We got what we were looking for. Since the hotel is located overlooking a vast marina, the setting is unique for the Los Angeles area. We enjoyed looking out from our room and seeing a sea of boats, and enjoyed walking along the promenade each morning after breakfast, making our way to the beach. As for the hotel itself, overall it is very nic... Read more

We stayed here for a few nights on our way to Honolulu and a couple of nights on our way back from Maui. We have stayed here twice before and never been disappointed, It is easy to get to/from LAX (just 15 minutes by car) and is just a lovely, welcoming hotel. The staff are great and we just love the lounge area with the big open fire. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in was the lounge/bar menu choice. Otherwise it is great. If you do not want to pay the $40 valet parking, there is a ca... Read more
