Friendly staff, great location, comfortable beds. But as in allmost all American hotels, the Aircon is noisy and not very good. But the reception area is very nice, espessially the outdoor lounge with gas fireplaces at night.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel as a part of our honeymoon. The hotel was lovely with everything that we needed for our two night stay but the stand out was the staff. At check in Jerome made us feel so welcome and special on our honeymoon. When I fell extremely ill in the middle of the night, helping us make international calls (and being so patient with us when my husband accidentally called 911 - we are from Australia!) and helping us find a local doctor. Every staff member we dealt wit... Read more

Stayed here for a couple night during a recent visit to Los Angeles. Check-in was very smooth. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The car valet service was quick and efficient. Our room didn't have a view, but was clean and adequate. I used the pool once, but the Jacuzzi was not inoperable. Overall stay was very nice. Would recommend.

Arrived as a group of 6 early Friday morning after getting off a cruise. Didn't have any rooms available at that time so had to wait a while. Concierge were very helpful. We had a suite on the second floor with a view of the Marina. Walking distance to Venice Beach, Cheesecake factory & much more. Hired bikes & did the Venice walk thing. Interesting characters around the place!

My daughter and I stayed in a suite for 2 nights. The suite was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel was great- walking distance to many hotels and great food and drink in the hotel itself. The pool is pretty small but it serves it's purpose. The staff were extremely accommodating. I had forgot my cell phone charger and they lent me a devise to charge my phone. If I'm ever in the area again I would stay at this hotel again without even looking at other hotels in the area based on my experience.

I'm a Platinum member and 1. they don't bother telling me which floor the Concierge Room is upon checking in and 2. they don't deliver a newspaper to my room the morning of the day I'm checking out. I can only think that these are "cost saving" measures. Well, Marriott, I got good news for you: you will be saving a lot more money now since Hilton just agreed to honor my status and I won't be pestering you for free sodas at the Concierge room or those expensive newspapers...

My family has been staying at this hotel for the past 11 years, I have family in the area. Everyone at the Marriott Marina Del Ray feels like extended family. They greet my husband and I by name, know my granddaughters (this hotel is also Shannon and Dylan's favorite hotel in the world!), go out of their way to assist with any need we have. Since this Marriott is so welcoming, especially concierge (Elena), we have stayed here 3 to 4 times a year for the past 9 years of our relationship. We ... Read more

Because we were staying only one night and had airline points to use, we decided to stay at the Marriott. We'd stayed here several years ago -but for longer stays in the LA area we preferred Air BnB. The Marriott's design and ambiance are really lovely. The large lobby and tall ceilings are inviting. Our sleeping room was very comfortable. We had a good breakfast despite its being served in the lobby near the bar. (I think their restaurant was being used for a private function.) From the vale... Read more

I am a platinum and have stayed at this property for work several times. This time it was for pleasure with my family. As always, the staff is very accommodating, the rooms are nice and the food in the lounge was plentiful. They even sent a nice bottle of wine up to our room as an amenity which is something I rarely see at Marriott's these days for Platinum members. Nice touch. I would have given it 5 stars if they had upgraded the room or even mentioned that they could not due to capacity.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We arrived before normal check in but a room was available and we were quickly and pleasantly checked in by the front desk staff. The bed was as usual wonderful. The room had a great view of the marina and the marina beach. The location was an easy walk to Venice beach and many good restaurants. The only reason that I am not giving five stars is because the executive lounge was not what I am accustomed to ( not really a lounge, kind of a small f... Read more

This time around the weather was not the best except for one of our four days! But if you have a fun time and good service , it makes up for it:) Our check in was great, with Jonathan who was super nice and professional! We were upgraded to a nice quite junior suite, loved it! I even took a nap each day, and I normally never do:) It's nice that they opened up the concierge on week ends for breakfast and so that we can take water to our room. We love a staff who works in the concierge during brea... Read more

This currently may be my my favorite Marriott in the LA area. Very close, practically on the Pacific Ocean. I was also impressed by the service at this hotel. Very strong service and professional attitude by the valet, front desk, and concierge lounge. It is also close to Venice Beach and to Santa Monica; My favorite areas of LA. I would go back and stay here.

Friendly and amazing staff, clean inviting rooms, comfy bed, small and nice pool, hot tub in a great and cool location and a decent gym. Nice bar inside, that offers happy hour and food. This hotel hosts A LOT of events, weddings, proms etc. Located very close to Venice beach. Caf├ęs, restaurants and bars, are just a short walk away and there's a nice beach across the street that has grills and Picnic tables.

This is my third stay at The Marriot. I like the location because it is near Abbot-Kinney and is only 10 minutes from LAX. I arrived late so check in was very easy. The night shift staff was very friendly. I was offered an upgrade and access to the concierge lounge due to my platinum status. They also offer free internet. My upgraded room is large and clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The only downside is my room was right by the elevator which was very loud. They must know this becaus... Read more

The hotel has a nice entrance. Front desk service was bad. The rooms are nice, not wow but ok. The noise level was off the charts. You can, like many hotels , hear everything what is going on on the hallway with the famous door slamming and talking housekeeping and guests. For $330 per night i expect much better. The view of the Santa Monica "view" rooms are ridiculous. You are overlooking the parking lot and get the loud noise from the outside hotel lounge area with it. So take a Marina view.... Read more
