The room was advertised as a marina view room, however on arrival saw it was located off the marina front and behind another hotel. From the room we could see only a corner of the marina. We were informed our car would not fit under the small 5 ft 9 inch parking lot and were directed to park two hotels away, however this option resulted in free of charge parking. Also as we checked in we were told it was currently happy hour, which we were eager to join in on after our 9 hour drive to California... Read more

My first reaction was to downgrade the hotel because of the noise we experienced, but the excellent facility mostly outweighed our frustration. Our room was literally within 50 feet of a major street, which features lots of hot rods and motorcycles on the way to and from the beach. Since we had requested a quiet room, as HHonors Gold members, we were surprised as we never had our request ignored before. And the hotel seemed to be no more than half full. Beyond the noise problem, everything w... Read more

Nice hidden gem in the Marina I would highly recommend. We had breakfast it was above average with anything I could think of to eat. The only draw back was our shower was too narrow and my elbows hit the walls. It was like showering in a coffin and the bathroom fan didn't turn off when we turned the light off ..... Aside from that a really nice clean cozy stay I highly recommend

I will definitely stay here again. My room was clean, the staff are pleasant (Milan and his staff in Conference Services are wonderfully attentive and professional), and the location is convenient, The kale salad in the restaurant was fresh and crisp; I recommend it, The parking is free and in a garage beneath the hotel. The only loose ends were that, in my room, the stopper in the sink didn't keep the water in and the rod to move the curtain was missing, These are relatively minor items and th... Read more

The hotel staff was very boring and robot like. The rooms are ok, nothing too special and the tile in the restroom needs to be replaced. The stay was overall ok, but I think with more personality and better service it would be an amazing place to stay

An older property, smelled musty and old and the beds were uncomfortable. The front desk was helpful and kind at check-in, but overall I didn't think that the value for the price paid was there. It was $300+ a night, and probably should have been in the $125-150 range. We were on a weekend getaway and were rather disappointed.

Everything was wonderful, very clean, set up nicely for me. My only disappointment is they are very vague when saying that there's a slight fee for breakfast. It was not free like Hampton Inn. It's a $16.30 breakfast. Then you tip the waiter after he only pours your coffee. You wait on yourself for what you put on your plate. Otherwise, I was happy with the hotel.

This is a very nice place and I wanted to give it 5 "Stars" but I just cannot do it because of 3 things: 1. The parking garage maximum height is 5" 10" !! So if you drive an SUV with a luggage rack - BEWARE you will drag on the pipes! I drive a Tahoe and I barely and I mean barely cleared the ceiling - No, the front desk did not warn me or offer an alternative in advance. I think this may be the lowest clearance parking structure in SoCal. 2. The Pool Decking. Extremely slippery. I mean I ... Read more

Room was mediocre. No regular coffee, no shower cap, no pen and blank note pad. Had to request room to be serviced at 3pm. Parking cost $15 per night. Certainly not worth the $220 per night. We were booked in this hotel since this was the only pickup stop for a wedding we attended.

A lovely property in a prime location that chooses a clanky, loud in-room air conditioning unit instead of taking advantage of the lovely cool ocean air. If you like feeling like you are sealed in a plastic bag with a 747 droning in your ear, this is the spot for you.

I liked the location of the Hilton Garden since it is within walking distance to the Marina and to Venice beach and the canals. The hotel lobby is nice and the parking was convenient. We looked for a Hilton Garden Inn in the LAX area, and found this property had a room. This is a quite unique HGI. We particularly liked the underneath parking with an elevator right to our floor. It is clever of the hotel to offer bikes to use; rent them right there in the lobby; smart.

I usually stay at another Hilton when I'm this part of LA: the Hotel MdR. The MdR is more boutique, more chichi in attitude and yes, a step up in menu. That said, I've found the Hotel MdR sometimes to be more impressed with itself than impressive (with the exception of the waitstaff, who are to a person fantastic). So I decided to try the HGI, which is actually competitive in price, despite being a little less fancy. The staff were very attentive, friendly and upbeat. My room was great, except t... Read more

Great location near LA. Atmosphere in this suburb is great with little boutiques and restaurants. The hotel is big has restaurants an outside pool and a fitness Centre 24hour beverages and a selection of food from pavilion pantry.
