The location is very convenient. The hotel itself goes out of the way to be accommodating. Even though there is a public shuttle to and from the ski lodges, the hotel will gladly transport you if needed. They even took me to and from June mtn when mammoth was crowded during the weekend. Rooms are a little dated, but for the price it's acceptable. They even have a sauna and hot tub which is nice. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Decent hotel for the money. Beds seemed pretty small though, smallest I've personally ever seen in a hotel. Free continental breakfast. As others have mentioned there doesn't seem to be any AC in the rooms. This was fine since we were here in Oct, not sure how hot it gets in the summer but that might be an issue. Another thing to note is that we stayed here because we were planning to go to Yosemite. While the hotel looks to be close to the park, it was still a 2 hour drive from the hotel to th... Read more

Nice hotel but had to climb 4 sets of narrow steps to get to top floor. No elevators....was not told that when making reservations. Also was not told of all the amenities of one building. Found the spa the day we left! Could have used this after traveling for 3 wks!

Well the staff were always friendly, the rooms comfy, the view from our room was of another building but the room was nice, clean and nice linen. The bed was good and we had some good night sleeps there. We loved the free sweets, The breakfast was good for a free one. Loved the upstairs balcony sitting there on a Eve looking at the stars

We stayed here en-route from Yosemite to Death Valley after a trip to Mono Lake. We had a friendly welcome. The rooms are airy, big and well equipped. There was no bar but equally no problem in opening your own bottle of wine. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of it. Plenty of nice eateries in Mammoth. If you have been to Mammoth in the winter when its pretty don't expect that in the summer. The lake area is however beautiful.

Convenient for a trip to Yosemite. Comfortable and friendly. Great complimentary breakfast. We were told there was a spa but we didn't use it. Conveniently located to several restaurants. Would definitely stay again

We stayed at this winter resort style hotel for 2 nights because it was pet friendly. The PROS were that there was a small park located across from the hotel where we could walk our large dog. There are walking/bicycle paths near the resort condos that are nearby for additional walking pleasure. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A continental breakfast was available and there was enough food to get you going in the morning. Our room was on the 2nd floor so we had a table on the deck wher... Read more

Nothing special especially for the price we paid. It has a convenient location, and clean. There was no A/C and we were on the first floor so didn't feel comfortable opening the window. I had allergy issues in the room. The pillows were uncomfortable. There is a free breakfast which had several choices - we didn't eat there. There were places to eat within walking distance. It is located at about 8000 ft above sea level which caused both of us to become ill and weren't able to go to Yosemite Na... Read more

The room was nice and clean and quite spacious. The bed was really big and comfortable. Lovely views from the bedroom window. The receptionist was helpful in recommending somewhere to eat in town. We were only there a night but would definitely like to go back in ski season.
