So nice after a long trip or a vigorous day outdoors to come back to a cozy, comfy room with a friendly staff to greet you! Can enjoy a refreshing glass of "spa" water or a nice hot cup of tea or coffee. Great location. No need to drive. Can take shuttle most anywhere you need to go!

My visit was in May of 2016. I had a deluxe loft, which is comfy and has everything needed for a stay, with a full kitchen, TV (and very minimal cable). The view from the upstairs rooms is very nice. The "deluxe continental breakfast" is not the least bit deluxe. It is basically cheap motel quality. All that said, I would given a higher score, except their extra fees are OUTRAGEOUS. They quote a pet fee of $29 and a resort fee of $15. What they don't tell you when you check in is that the... Read more

We had a very long drive to get here as our intended route of i-120 was closed. However the views were stunning and luckily when we arrived at around 8.15pm we had a warm welcome from Brandon. We received a free upgrade from the standard room we had booked which was a nice surprise and the room was lovely. We raced out to find some dinner and although Brandon's recommendation was closed, Giovannis was a nice little Italian / sports bar with a good atmosphere and food. We slept well and in the mo... Stayed here over mothers day weekend, this was our 3rd or 4th time staying here - I need to clarify the rating for the comfort of the bed - The king size bed in which I slept was extremely comfortable, BUT this stay our son(23yr.) came with us - so he used the pull out couch bed - POOR thing- the bed was so uncomfortable - the mattress is about 2 inches thick and the springs are built into the mattress - he could feel every spring and bar. Other than that I love staying her and will continue to ... Read more

Coming straight from Las Vegas the Mammoth Creek inn was a treat to arrive too. The beds are huge, the rooms are equipped with everything you need and the bathroom is clean and efficient. Downstairs they have facilities to make hot drinks by the warm cosy fire. The spa was lovely and well needed after a long drive. Breakfast had everything we could of asked for and helped us get ready for the day ahead. The staff were also extremely friendly and very helpful.

This place is much nicer on the inside than the outside! Bear with it! Car park is a little scruffy but we were greeted at the desk & advised of tea and coffee 24/7 which was a nice touch, there were biscuits occasionally & some hot choc too. Room was compact - A209 overlooked the car park which was a shame - but we only stayed 1 night so just about ok. Bathroom recently refurbished & was lovely, modern & bright with lovely Eco toiletries. Bed comfy , iPod dock radio, portable fan, robes provide... Read more

Touring around California for two weeks, this was our stop over between Yosemite and Death Valley. The Staff are pleasant and helpful. Bedrooms could do with a makeover, though beds were big and comfy, also room clean. Bathroom looked fairly new and bathrobes are provided. There are also coffee facilities and fridge. We didn't use the spa, so can't comment and didn't have the breakfast either, preferring a hotmeal and popped over the road to the Stove. There's a pool room upstairs, which My Husb... Read more

This is a decent hotel. The common rooms look very tired but they have prettied up (my) the room with paint and a new bathroom. Room was comfortable. Free Wifi was fine. Free breakfast was modest and adequate. Staff were very friendly. Hall way noise could be a problem late at night. Hotel charges a 'resort fee' which was a surprise and is basically a joke. That said, I arrived after 10hrs on the road and didn't argue. There is nothing here that could justified a 'resort fee' which the ... Read more

Hotel 7 of 14 on this trip. Great little find and very comfortable stay. Great sized room and great beds. Good sized bathroom with nice toiletries, hairdryer and even toothbrush holder, loved the decor. Didn't use the spa but did have breakfast which was great and plentiful. Only drawback was no air con which I could of done with but in a quiet side so kept the window open all night.

We had booked this hotel believing it was a 4 star accommodation, how wrong we were. Our room was on the second floor, there is no lift and as my husband and I are in our mid 60's we found this a struggle with our luggage. Nobody offered to help. Our room had no inbuilt air conditioning and we had to make do with a fan, furniture was scruffy and needs replacing. We had no wardrobe. Worst of all our room was not made up the following day and our towels were taken, I had to phone reception and the... Read more

We stopped at the Mammoth Creek Inn to break up the journey between Yosemite and Death Valley. Upon arrival we were really happy that we were able to check-in much earlier than the usual time. The standard rooms are as displayed/described on the website, and we were able to get a quiet night's sleep. We didn't use many of the facilities but we did make use of the pool table up in the loft - this area could probably do with a lick of paint but otherwise the Inn is in great condition. I liked the location of the room and the overall facility. The specific room that I had was noisy because it was on the street. I asked for the toilet to be fixed 3x and I got no response so it would not flush without me taking off the lid and manually fixing the float. The internal parts needed replacement. The bathroom ran out of toilet paper and was not restocked.

Beautiful little inn. The view from south-facing rooms is spectacular. The rooms are very nice, with a kitchen area, couch/sitting area, and bed area. The rooms are clean, the people are friendly, and the beds are comfortable. I have stayed in "well-known" chain motels in town; never again, if I can get into the Mammoth Creek Inn.

Because of the location you are paying top-dollar for somewhat mediocre accommodation. At reception was a monosyllabic female who was barely understandable, reached by steps up from outside, then had a flight of stairs to room with no lift or assistance. A little tlc wouldn't have gone amiss regarding chipped furniture and generally dingy appearance of the room, the lack of hook behind bathroom door (screw holes only), and a rise/fall washbasin lever that worked. Small bottles of water were in... Read more

It's not quite as 'boutique' as it claims and the outside is a bit tatty but inside is well kept. Clean, tidy, not too expensive (we went in the summer rather than the ski season). Staff were very good. There's a nice pool table room and a decent breakfast is included. It's a bit of a walk to the town's main shops and restaurants but the mountain view is lovely. We stayed here during Labor Day weekend and were very surprised and how comfortable, convenient and quiet the property was. Our room was clean and provided all the amenities we needed, including a humidifier which I recommend using even if you think you don't need it. The breakfast was lackluster, however. After 4 days, we would have liked some variety in the offerings. It is outside of the main downtown of Mammoth, but you are less than 5 minutes away from the action.
