We had such an amazing time. We decided to have a little getaway and we wished it was a little longer. Daniel was so great and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. We definitely want to come back very soon. We enjoyed the fireplace in our room and the bed was amazing. I slept through the whole night which is hard for me to do at hotels. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

I made the mistake of using another company (Expedia) to make reservations. Upon arriving at Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa, the front desk informed me that our reservation did not indicate we needed a handicap/wheelchair accessible room. "Travis" bent over backwards to make this work for us. He made a few changes and we had the "1" wheelchair accessible room w/ a roll-in shower. YAY !! One problem though. The room has two Queen beds and not much room to get around. A big concern for my husba... Read more

We unexpectedly stopped here on our way to Tahoe and were blown away by how nice this place was for the price. We were upgraded to a suite with a fireplace which made it that much more special. Location was great, you can walk to a lot of restaurants and shops. Kim at the front desk was amazing! very friendly and professional. definitely coming back and staying longer.

Came up for fishing trip but didn't want to camp in the rain so we gave Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa a try. We got a very reasonable room rate and Kim at the front desk was very helpful! We would definitely stay here again!!

Another amazing winter get a way thanks to the Sierra Nevada Resort. I have been staying at the Sierra Nevada Resort since 2013. This was my fourth (2013/2014/2015/1016) stay for our annual winter get a way and my experience at the Sierra Nevada Resort has again exceeding my expectations. As soon as the holiday season withers away, I get a bit of excitement because I know what is to come. My Mammoth Trip. I look forward to nothing more than this trip my g/f and I take annually. I would recommend staying here for anyone wanting to visit Yosemite national park. This venue is reasonably priced and well equipped, it's a great location and there is a couple of restaurants right next door. Mammoth lakes is a beautiful town surrounded by forest and is definitely worth seeing.

We were coming out of Yosemite on a Sunday after noon and found Mammoth Lakes and Sierra Nevada resort and Spa on TripAdvisor. It was our first time in Mammoth Lakes. Jamie answered my call and reserved us a fabulous room with a great view of the mountains and a heated commode seat! She was very friendly and accommodating! Tatiana checked us out on Monday morning. She knew the area very well and gave us some great advice on what to see in the area. Mammoth Lakes is an ideal place to work out of ... Read more

A kitchenette, heated bathroom floors and toilet seats. Luxury without breaking the bank. Delicious food at Rafters restaurant located on premises. Great for families, mini golf on site for the kids. Even has live music for adult entertainment. This place is my Mammoth mountain go-to.

We stayed at the pet friendly Sierra Nevada Resort this past Saturday. The ambiance is retro ski lodge with old fashioned artwork and fixtures. Our deluxe 2 Queen room was snug but big enough for 3 people and our small dog. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was spacious, with an appreciated standalone shower (as opposed to bath/tub combo you usually find). We also asked for a late checkout (noon instead of 11am) and they were accommodating. My only complaint is that you are c... Read more

Stayed for one night before Yosemite just passing through. It's clearly a skiresort with open fires, hot tub and decor focusing on wood and skiing. Not actually a resort in its true meaning, and wouldn't like to stay for a whole vacation, but has the things you need for a one night stay (TV, refrigerator and a clean and fairly comfortable bed). Complimentary parking, Wi-Fi (worked perfectly) minigolf and a good enough restaurant on the premises. A real bargain for one night.

I was only here for 1 night but it was very pleasant. Room was clean. The bathroom was very spacious. Hot water took a little while but that was fine. Really good on site restaurant. The hotel is a little dated and the stairs lay out was a little weird, but I would stay here again for sure.

We were in Mammoth to do some hiking and this was a great place to stay. The room was beautiful and the grounds were pleasant. Check in was easy. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The huge jacuzzi was a great spot to soak sore muscles after amazing hikes. There is a miniature golf course onsite that looked fun but we did not have time to play. When booking this hotel I spoke directly to Reservations. I asked questions and explained the nature of my trip was to take my 90 year old mother to a area of the country that she had never visited. The clerk said no problem and they would see that we had a nice room overlooking the green area. Not looking at the parking lot, she laughed. Our room was, of course, facing the parking lot and the equipment shed. Check in was a slow painful process to get what I had specifically not asked for b... Read more

Yes, a touristic area is more expensive. But unmotivated personal is not a good door opener. Lobby nice with billard, Rooms tweedy, funny bears around the hotel. The restaurant is absolutely on level - but like said, nothing is better - only more expensive.

We stayed here on our way to Reno - as it turned out to be too long of a drive. We loved our room - especially the décor and bathroom counter and sinks. The bed was very comfy and the (ski) décor was so fun -even in June!. We ate dinner at Jimmy's Taverna. The Vegetable Risotto and NY Steak with purple Peruvian sweet potatoes were delicious! If we are ever in the neighborhood again, we would definitely choose to stay at the Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa.

We stayed here on our way to Lake Tahoe. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Micaela and Tatiana. We had a very nice room, although it was a bit small with an extremely comfortable bed and great walk in shower. The room had a cozy feel to it with the rustic furniture and ski posters. We did not have the opportunity to use the spa as we were only there for one night. The hotel is dog friendly and if in the area we would definitely stay again.

We arrived at the lodge after hiking 900 miles on the pct with a group of 8. The staff was courteous, helpful and multitasking to keep the place running smoothly. Tatiana, Kim, and Leandra were superstars that handled our every request. They also provided great service in the lobby where we played many a game of chess and pool. Apart from the expert aforementioned staff, the lodge also offers a great vibe with a mix of vintage flair with modern comforts.

I thoroughly enjoyed my three-day stay at the Sierra Nevada Resort and Spa. The rooms and amenities are chic and comfortable. The lobby has a nice billiards table, a swanky bar, a piano owned by Hoagy Carmichael, and a fireplace with wrap-around seating, all imparting a cozy atmosphere to hang out with friends and family. This is a rustic lodge style hotel. There are different "grades" of rooms and certainly the more expensive rooms are more updated and generally better accommodations. I wouldn't consider this a fancy hotel - but it is charming and quaint. During the summer the grounds of the complex are delightful with wild flowers, a green court yard, fire pit, and even a mini golf that is free for guests. I would say this is a good hotel for kids - lots to do and the rustic atmosphere is fun. The staff are alw... Read more

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel! The location was great-very close to town. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and they upgraded us from the lodge to a fireplace suite. The room was exquisite and immaculately clean! We ate at 2 of the restaurants at the hotel and loved the food. I treated myself to a body wrap at the spa. Donna was AMAZING! They called it the DELUXE room. Really! For $165 a night we expected more. So when it says onsite bar, its in the lobby that you pay for your room..not a bar and it closes at 9 pm. The restaurant IS NOT onsite...., its next door but not onsite! Don't get a joint room..you can hear everything thru the wall.. And the kicker is...after we paid, there were 4 charges on my card. I love this place, the rooms are great, the lobby has a pool table, and I think the two best things that complement the stay there are their restaurant/ bar Rafters, they are always bringing the best music groups in town so the place is always super fun and full of people and their Mammoth Expeditions office! The ATV tours they have are the most fun I have had in years! Can't wait to go back on one of their rides, amazing views and great guides.

Pretty good experience overall. Stayed in the "chalet" and there was a good bit of noise outside- mini golf was right outside our door. no a/c so had to have windows open to get air... So noise was an issue... Pool and hot tub are awesome and very pretty. Since they do allow dogs there was also the occasional barking... Sometimes obviously a dog left behind when someone went out and left dog behind. Front desk people very polite and pleasant.

Our room wasn't ready until 4 p.m. The air conditioning unit consisted of an old, dusty, loud box fan. The carpeting was stretched and loose. But the big shock came when they added a $25.00 "resort" fee to the price of the room! This is no resort.
