The hotel is in great location. The ambiance was modern and luxurious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free Wifi when you present SPG membership, but parking was too costly so we had to find other parkades - we checked in just to drop off our suitcases and freshen up and headed to Santa Monica, so we parked at Macys(free with validation for 3 hr) before checking in, because no other parkings would give you in and out privilege. After we came back for the overnight parking, the one right across f... Read more

The room was a good size. The bedding was excellent. Very soft, crisp and fresh smelling linen. The towels could use a little fabric softener, but they were fluffy, large and plentiful. The view from my room (14th floor) was a bit meh, but the view from the fitness room was amazing, absolutely gorgeous and I had the room all to myself. Which was great for working off what we ate during happy hour at the bar. The bar downstairs was a bit pricey, but the happy hour appetizers were really won... Read more

Check in was flawless and the staff was really on top of their game. We liked that you had to have your room key to access the guest room floors. That is a very secure feeling for women traveling alone. You can access the lounge and restaurant with out a key card. Virginia who was our waitress in the lounge was outstanding!!! She was ... I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past few years, before the recent renovations. I didn't stay here in 2015 because of the work going on, but returned this spring 2016. What a difference! It was like staying in a completely different hotel! The lobby, the restaurant, the bar, everything! Really amazing renovation. The rooms are lovely, modern, and beautiful. A few things I would nitpick: The bathroom is very dark - not good for make-up application. An additional small magni... Read more

Last week we spent five nights at the Sheraton grand. The hotel is newly renovated. Great staff, fast & easy check in. The only available parking was valet for $42 a night. The room was spacious. We asked for a king size bed and ended up with a two double bed room. They told us the hotel was fully booked. The room was on the fourth floor. I would recommend a higher level room. The service in the restaurant is fantastic. The restaurant I in the basement. There is an outdoor deck on the third ... Read more

The room was comfortable, downtown LA view, modern furnishings. Amenities: coffee maker, wide flat screened TV, refrigerator. It's what you'd typically expect to have available to you in a downtown high rise hotel in an American city @almost $300, per night. The lower rating is based on slow room service, almost making us miss a graduation, inaccurate food ingredient listing, and poor daily menu choices. 1) When you're paying that money, you also expect more, particularly good food service. I was staying at the Sheraton for a week where I enjoyed the great location in the very center of Downtown L.A., the gym on top of the hotel which offers a great view over the city and most of all the restaurant due to its very kind staff (and the food is great too!). They've added a personal touch to my stay I won't forget. I had a great time at the Sheraton and can recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel's bellman, Francisco, was excellent. I only stayed one night and he recognized me in the elevator. He was very engaged with all the guests and greeted everyone with a big smile. The club lounge attendant for the afternoon reception was also very friendly and made conversations with all guests.

We stayed only for a couple nights at this hotel when it was under renovation in Sep 15. It was quite unfair to make a review of the hotel during this period, since we had long waits for elevators, noises and all inconvenience that comes with a renewing. Besides that, I can tell about location that should be nice for business travelers. But neighborhood it is really scary at night, because there is lots of people sleeping on the streets on that region, making not safe walk around at night.

Since this place was recently remodeled, the decor is on the higher end of your typical Sheraton. The rooms and public areas are in great condition, the bed is comfortable, and everything is clean. The location is good if you're doing work downtown, otherwise you're going to have to drive a ways just like anywhere else in LA. The bathroom is nice, but the showers are painfully small, as in the water hits me in my chest and I cannot raise my knees or fully lean over in it. The gym is also goo... Read more

Friendly staff and nice hotel room. I was upgraded to a high floor corner room and the view is nice. Great location in LA downtown. Sheets/towels perfect and nice desk and sitting chair. Elevators were very high tech as you used your hotel card which made for routing the elevators to avoid people having to share. This hotel recently underwent major renovations and it shows. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had a Jr Suite. It was large and roomy. It had 2 TV's, but not really sure it needed 2? There's nothing dividing the sitting area from the bed area so you couldn't have 2 TV's going at once. Bathroom was good size. Bath products were nice. I was very disappointed in this hotel. I asked for a king bed no feathers. I am allergic. Requested ignored Sheraton has a loyalty card and I thought that staying 4 days and using my platinum card might help me upgrade to a nicer room with a view. The location was in walking distance to many different restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. My room was spacious and clean upon arrival. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a nice television and a small refrigerator. The bathroom was a nice size and had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. I had room service once and to food wasn't too... Read more

It was a fantastic experience As IT was a big birthday celebration we were upgraded to 27 th floor We paid for club lounge access Brilliant down town views Real value for money As it was downtown hotel and very busy it could be very difficult to early check in and late check out. We reached on overnight flight and did not get room until midday Other than that rest was great Valet parking fairly expensive but if you find need car on an hourly basis there are a lot cheaper parks near by The concie... Stayed here last weekend for 2 nights. Lobby was very modern and impressive. My room wasn't ready on arrival at 11am, but they called me when it was ready. The room was very rich in dark with modern decor and a backlit TV wall mount. It was a comfortable stay and located within walking distance to an H&M, Zara & Target, and steps to Macy's. It was a 5 minute cab ride to the LA convention centre / Staples Centre / LA Live area. Taxis were always available, staff were all great. Lower lobby restau... Read more

Constantine and Tony are hands down the best at giving you what you want. Tell them what you like and your mouth will say "thank you". The bar is clean and beautiful and the best service you will ever have.

The District is the bar/restaurant on the plaza level. Great happy hour, delicious food at excellent prices. I asked bartender Tony to get creative with my old fashioned and he whipped out a smoker and some cloves and I'm not sure what else but the result was awesome! Definitely recommend a stop down there during your stay.

It was a nice stay. We book a club room for one nite including breakfast & afternoon snacks. A nice check in staff. Located in a nice part in downtown. We could go at the evening and discover the area. The only negative thing was the breakfast which was poor.

I actually live in Downtown LA and was curious to see the renovations that have been going on for quite some time. When I went inside I was really surprised! The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and they have new smart elevators that are pretty cool. It will be even better when the whole Bloc opens, but at least they have their own restaurant and bar already up and running. It's called the District and it's in the basement. It was a little hard to find at first, but when I got there I felt like I wa... Read more

Let me start off by saying that the last time I stayed here, I was less than impressed. But NOW EVERYTHING IS STUNNING! Now for the bar. I own a few craft bars in New York City, and every time I come to Los Angeles I am extremely disappointed at the level at which most bars operate. All I can say is. TONY G.!!!! He is a master. I would have never smoked a cocktail with cloves in it. But he did and it rocked! His knowledge is on point and the techniques are very impressive to watch. Kudos for Sh... Read more

Worth checking out the restaurant and bar on the plaza level. Constantine will work out exactly what you're after. Great choice of beers and cocktails and the food is 5* too. Check it out if you're downtown!
