The hotel is in great location. The ambiance was modern and luxurious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free Wifi when you present SPG membership, but parking was too costly so we had to find other parkades - we checked in just to drop off our suitcases and freshen up and headed to Santa Monica, so we parked at Macys(free with validation for 3 hr) before checking in, because no other parkings would give you in and out privilege. After we came back for the overnight parking, the one right across f... Read more

The room was a good size. The bedding was excellent. Very soft, crisp and fresh smelling linen. The towels could use a little fabric softener, but they were fluffy, large and plentiful. The view from my room (14th floor) was a bit meh, but the view from the fitness room was amazing, absolutely gorgeous and I had the room all to myself. Which was great for working off what we ate during happy hour at the bar. The bar downstairs was a bit pricey, but the happy hour appetizers were really won... Read more

Room was very clean; huge flat screen TV's in the suite and sleeping areas. Great renovations overall. Bathroom/shower are a bit tight, but overall great hotel. The bed is very luxurious and comfortable. Nice breakfast and hor d'oeuvre selection in the club lounge (which has a beautiful view!!!) Definitely would come back.

We stayed here on a girls trip for shopping and sightseeing. This is a great location if you want to be near the Staples Center, LA Live and multiple restaurants. Check in was flawless and the staff was really on top of their game. We liked that you had to have your room key to access the guest room floors. That is a very secure feeling for women traveling alone. You can access the lounge and restaurant with out a key card. Virginia who was our waitress in the lounge was outstanding!!! She was ... I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past few years, before the recent renovations. I didn't stay here in 2015 because of the work going on, but returned this spring 2016. What a difference! It was like staying in a completely different hotel! The lobby, the restaurant, the bar, everything! Really amazing renovation. The rooms are lovely, modern, and beautiful. A few things I would nitpick: The bathroom is very dark - not good for make-up application. An additional small magni... Read more

Always enjoy heading to the Club in the morning for a fresh made Americano and the latest updates from cheerful Juan Ayon, the concierge. I also enjoy watching all the new construction in DTLA - good view from the 26th floor.

Last week we spent five nights at the Sheraton grand. The hotel is newly renovated. Great staff, fast & easy check in. The only available parking was valet for $42 a night. The room was spacious. We asked for a king size bed and ended up with a two double bed room. They told us the hotel was fully booked. The room was on the fourth floor. I would recommend a higher level room. The service in the restaurant is fantastic. The restaurant I in the basement. There is an outdoor deck on the third ... Read more

The room was comfortable, downtown LA view, modern furnishings. Amenities: coffee maker, wide flat screened TV, refrigerator. It's what you'd typically expect to have available to you in a downtown high rise hotel in an American city @almost $300, per night. The lower rating is based on slow room service, almost making us miss a graduation, inaccurate food ingredient listing, and poor daily menu choices. 1) When you're paying that money, you also expect more, particularly good food service. I was staying at the Sheraton for a week where I enjoyed the great location in the very center of Downtown L.A., the gym on top of the hotel which offers a great view over the city and most of all the restaurant due to its very kind staff (and the food is great too!). They've added a personal touch to my stay I won't forget. I had a great time at the Sheraton and can recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel's bellman, Francisco, was excellent. I only stayed one night and he recognized me in the elevator. He was very engaged with all the guests and greeted everyone with a big smile. The club lounge attendant for the afternoon reception was also very friendly and made conversations with all guests.

We stayed only for a couple nights at this hotel when it was under renovation in Sep 15. It was quite unfair to make a review of the hotel during this period, since we had long waits for elevators, noises and all inconvenience that comes with a renewing. Besides that, I can tell about location that should be nice for business travelers. But neighborhood it is really scary at night, because there is lots of people sleeping on the streets on that region, making not safe walk around at night.

Since this place was recently remodeled, the decor is on the higher end of your typical Sheraton. The rooms and public areas are in great condition, the bed is comfortable, and everything is clean. The location is good if you're doing work downtown, otherwise you're going to have to drive a ways just like anywhere else in LA. The bathroom is nice, but the showers are painfully small, as in the water hits me in my chest and I cannot raise my knees or fully lean over in it. The gym is also goo... Read more

Friendly staff and nice hotel room. I was upgraded to a high floor corner room and the view is nice. Great location in LA downtown. The only drawback is expensive valet parking fee (~ $40 per day), so I parked my car in nearby public parking on the street (just 3 mins walk). Overall, I highly recommend this property.

Loved this hotel.. lobby was swanky, brand new and extremely modern. Rooms were spacious, beds elevated and comfortable and bathroom was brand new with tub shower. Sheets/towels perfect and nice desk and sitting chair. Elevators were very high tech as you used your hotel card which made for routing the elevators to avoid people having to share. It was really nice and an awesome touch. Parking (valet) was super expensive but we parked across street. $5 for every 12 hours. So we timed it as w... Read more

This hotel recently underwent major renovations and it shows. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had a Jr Suite. It was large and roomy. It had 2 TV's, but not really sure it needed 2? There's nothing dividing the sitting area from the bed area so you couldn't have 2 TV's going at once. Bathroom was good size. Bath products were nice. I was on the SPG level and got 2 free bottles of water in my room. Also had access to the lounge. Ate breakfast there one day. It's compact but has a ... Read more

Stayed 1 night for the Anime Expo 2016. Stay was good! Very nice staff, especially Joseph Faron. People were friendly and accommodating. Hotel ambience is good too! The area is very accessible and close to venue. The concierge was helpful too. Thanks!

We stayed here for the Anime Expo 2016 and we loved it. Being only about a 20 minute walk from the convention center we walked majority of our stay, we stayed for 5 days, 4 nights and the staff was very welcoming. We had no idea that there was a little fridge too so it made things even more exciting. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the pillows. The staff was welcoming, always smiling, friendly, and very helpful. We didn't have any problems checking in or out and it was so worth the stay... Read more

I spent two nights here during Anime Expo and I had a great stay. I had a roomy room on the 14th floor. I didn't know that the hotel was recently remodeled when I booked the room. The remodel shows! Nearly everything was perfect. No big complaints. There was even a little tray sticking out from the wall for my wallet. (Either that it was a large ash tray...) The bed was nice and firm, the sheets were crisp, and the shower was strong. The room was quiet except for the humming noise from ... Read more

The room was well kept and clean, bed was comfy, had the shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the bathroom with a hairdryer, wi-fi was available in the room, over a certain data limit had a charge, there was ample lighting, big tv, phone and standard clock/alarm. I stayed at this hotel while in town for a conference. It's about a 10 minute brisk walk to the convention center. Right around the corner, there's a great yoga/spinning studio but they also have a great gym on the top floor. Breakfast is pretty yummy. The room and appointments are perfect. Options to upgrade the internet but the base internet is fine too. The elevator system takes some getting used to but after a day, you'll have it down pat.

The staff and hotel was very nice. Downtown LA so many things in walking distance from the hotel like forgo de chao, coffee, small mall, restaurants. The room was up to par. The view from the 23rd floor was excellent, especially at night. The only "no go" for me was the $40 valet service. There are other options if your comfortable with parking at your own risk. Street parking is available hourly at the meter or there is a $5 lot across the street from the hotel( coming out of the hotel to the ri... Read more

The Sheraton Grand Los Angeles is a very modern and beautiful hotel. Right when I walked in through the entrance, I knew it was going to be a comfortable and safe stay. The hotel is located right in Downtown Los Angeles which means it can get pretty busy. Instead of driving and spending money on parking, I walked to my destinations. They have a great valet service so I knew my car was safe in the parking garage. The staff was friendly and helpful as well! I attended Anime Expo and the Sheraton ... Read more

The Sheraton Grand Hotel has been my hotel of choice when attending Anime Expo in Downtown Los Angeles. I have just enjoyed my 4th stay in this hotel and am already looking forward to booking next year's room here. From the moment you arrive, the valet greets you with a smile and offers any assistance you may have to prepare for your visit. Should you need to reacquire your vehicle for any reason, the staff expedites the retrieval so there is virtually no wait time. When checking in at the ... Read more

The restaurant was downstairs, literally underground, and it truly felt like a "dungeon". The only parking option is valet, which is outrageously priced even for LA. I was visiting for business and was also not informed the hotel was under renovation, half of the elevators were out of service. Not their best effort!

I want to especially thank Lynda H. at the front desk for consistently going beyond expectations to be accommodating and helpful. I was very disappointed in this hotel. I asked for a king bed no feathers. I am allergic. Requested ignored Sheraton has a loyalty card and I thought that staying 4 days and using my platinum card might help me upgrade to a nicer room with a view. Instead I was given a bad room on a low floor with my only upgrade option to pay $20 per day to get "bath amenities and a higher floor." The wi fi was awful . Slow and expensive. This was a business conference. Appalling.

With metro subway literally right across from the hotel, great restaurants within walking distance, as well as Macys that is adjacent to the hotel, the hotel definitely has the best location in the downtown area. Stayed for our son's graduation. Spent the extra money for club level for two rooms, knowing lots of socializing would be going on at night and at breakfast. The beauty was we could gather for long periods of time and not feel like we were taking up a restaurant table etc. The breakfast was great--the staff at breakfast was great.
