While I was not the speaker who actually stayed at the hotel, our speaker said the service and hotel were absolutely wonderful. What I can comment on is that is was very pleasant working with lara Mace to schedule and plan the event. Everything went off without a hitch. There were one or two complaints from attendees about the food being dry but take that for what it is.

I was recently in LA for business near the airport and stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The hotel is on the ‚??Century strip‚?? close to lots of restaurants and super close to LAX. The room was extremely comfortable and large with nice furniture and a small desk area perfect for the laptop. It looked like there was a little renovation going on in the lobby for their new restaurant but they offered a large dining area for meals at the hotel too. We were able to have lunch there and it was ex... Read more

The room was very nice; personnel very accommodating and friendly. Great pool! There are private tents along the pool with heaters available. I unfortunately never saw anyone providing food or beverages by the pool and had to walk into the bar area to order my own snacks & drinks.

So I have to admit that the stay was not planned...until I realized my flight to LA was the day BEFORE my flight to Japan ! After assessing the situation, it made better sense to book a room than change my air. What a great mistake ! I was able to relax, reorganize my luggage for an international flight and see my grandkids. This hotel is so close I could almost board my plane from it...but quiet, quiet. Very nice lobby, plenty of privacy in the seating areas, Starbucks and a spacious, open lo... Read more

We stayed here one night for a layover. I was a little concerned from some other reviews that it might not be quiet enough. However, we did not experience any aircraft noise or other noise. The towels were exceptionally good for a Sheraton in my experience, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the sheets were unusually soft. You should allow the full 15 to 20 minutes for the shuttle. While several other shuttles came by as we waited, it took the full 20 minutes for the Sheraton shuttle ... Read more

Room small but okay. TV picture very fuzzy. Very skimpy on the towels....just two per person and very scratchy, not soft and comforting. Not worth the price. Internet not free unless you complain. Comes up at 12.95 on your device. Staying here now and we are heading for the bar. HOpe it's better.

I have been staying at this property for years and have seen several renovations, none of which were on par with the present one. Pulling up I was stunned with the new lobby. A sleek and modern design never seen anywhere near an airport. Newly renovated room was very tastefully done. New soft goods were outstanding. Shower pressure could have been better but then there's a drought so restrictive valves are just part of the deal. I dread staying on the corridor. Westin got the nod because of t... Read more

So: I had a meeting at this hotel on Saturday morning, June 4. The valet rudely turned me away, saying they were full, even though I could see empty spaces nearby. Several valets were standing around, doing nothing.I told him I was attending an event in the hotel. I named the event and the location (Board Room, on the second floor). He claimed there was no such event and ordered me to self parking. Another person who attended hard the same experience. The self-parking area was awash in open spac... Read more

Apart from the welcome free shuttle from LAX and the even more welcome Guest Laundry (ONE washer and ONE dryer[$2.00 in quarters for each], on the 3rd floor, for a hotel this size?), the thing that really resonated with me was our Executive Club room, which had been totally renovated and was a sheer delight, with king beds that you could almost lose yourself in with their luxurious, sleep-inducing pillows, a state-of-the-art bathroom, and an eminently comfortable and welcoming Club Lounge on the... We stayed at this property for one night, after a China Eastern delay caused us to miss our connecting flight. We had an efficient check-in, were provided with complimentary wifi for the evening, and enjoyed a lovely accommodation - compliments of the airline. The free shuttle was efficient - with both pick up from the airport and early, early morning drop off at the airport. Beds were sublime -- only wished we could enjoy them longer than our 3 a.m. wake-up! And the coffee maker brewing Sta... Read more

The service in this hotel was great, however the property and rooms are bland without character, stupidly laid out with terrible WiFi and club breakfast. I do not recommend this hotel unless it is the last resort. The rooms are large, so are the bathrooms, but the shower is extremely narrow and there is no counter space for toiletries. Bathroom design by an imbecile. The breakfast in the club lounge was pathetic. The hotel WiFi is broken up into different accounts so you are forever logging i... Read more

I was here as part of a conference held by my work company. We were there for 4 days, and I must say this was a very clean hotel. Some hotels staff dont take ownership, but this was not the case here. The hotel was very well kept, and the bathrooms were sparkling clean. During our stay the rooms were unremarkable, and the service we received from the staff was exceptional. Was here for a business conference and had a nice stay. Nothing spectacular. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Ordered room service and it was late. I was concerned about the air traffic, but you could hardly hear the planes. Overall, a nice choice if you need to a place to stay for a long layover.

We stayed in this nice chain hotel because it was very convinient as location. It is very close to the airport and 5 min drive to marina del rey. The rooms are pretty spacious and new. The only problem we faced which made me to lower my rate was the checkin time we had to wait standing like half an hour after a 13 hour flight.

Overnight stay as I was traveling thru L.A. For me staying in a Starwood hotel is convenient as being a gold card holder has its perks. To be honest, I was looking to stay at the Westin but it was booked. I arrived during the peak of check in and the line was about 30 patrons long. Fortunately, for me I got to check in on the dedicated SPG side and was in and out in a second. I can understand the frustration from those that had to check in on the other line. The hotel was comfortable, the room clean, modern and had all the amenities. You can be at LAX in less than 10 minutes via their shuttle, which runs about every 15 minutes. We found the Brasserie restaurant pricey - probably more geared to the business person with an expense account. The bar area had no ambiance. I felt like I was sitting in the middle of a small ballroom. Lots of families using the pool and cabanas. Staff was friendly and helpful. A good choice if you have an early flight out.

I stayed there only one night before continuing my trip. The room was reasonably clean although not spotless. There is a Starbucks in the lobby so I could get some snacks for the night of jetlag otherwise the little store doesn't have much on the way of food besides candy/chips and softdrinks. I have stayed at this Sheraton numerous times, but this was my last time. The long wait for check-in, even at 1:30am, to a dirty lobby, having to come back to the check-in twice since my key did not work, to having someone in the room that I was checked into, and then waiting again for another room. This whole process took over an hour, which after a long delayed flight was a lot to take on. They were very sorry for everything, but in the end the amount that I pay to stay here is just too much.
