Rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious with all amenities. The hotel is quiet and intimate and yet with a friendly, attentive staff. The rooftop bar, pool and surrounds are a wonderful escape to enjoy the sunny LA climate. The hotel is well located in a quiet street but within easy reach of main roads such as Sunset Boulevarde.

I had an incredible stay. From the friendly welcome staff to the romantic room to the perfect rooftop, I knew it was going to be a great stay. I loved the art around the hotel and all of the funky details throughout. Plus they had Le Labo bath products, which are my favorite. Prior to my stay, I called multiple times and the front desk promptly helped with all of my requests. I would definitely recommend this hotel over the other places I've stayed in LA.

The Petit feels like home. The attention to detail is excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. Have breakfast on the terrace, in your slippers, if you like. Have a tea or cocktails poolside and take in the incredible skyline and sunsets. Have the macrobiotic bowl for lunch and coq au vin for dinner. Then shuffle your way back to your room in your slippers for a blissful night's sleep.

When I called, the Asian lady would not budge on a rate. When I asked her in reference to an online special, she wasn't peasant at all. The rate she quoted was 360. The rate online was 260. Perhaps we needed to stay online. Upon checking in, she was was transparent. The patio door lock was broken. The room had no hall light and the kitchen light was dim. My son parked our Lexus on the street after he dropped me at the entrance. Obviously, he didn't see the sign at the top of the street. It w... Read more

I loved everything about my stay and the hotel in general. The customer service was superior (and I have stayed in MANY hotels in my time). I also loved the character and vibe of the decor of the hotel. So sexy, chic, romantic, mysterious and COMFORTABLE!

Really cute and quiet boutique hotel. Rooms are cosy and spacious - the "fireplace" was a huge plus considering the low temperatures during the Christmas holidays. Staff was extremely friendly - valet, doorman, bar tender, waitresses. We had the French buffet for breakfast and dinner on the roof in one of the cabana - food was excellent and portions were generous. The rooftop is amazing with great activities such as concerts, movie nights... The only drawback was the fees of $39/night charged fo... Read more

We spent 5 days and 4 nights at PE. We enjoyed the stay very much and all the service was super. The prime feature is the roof top with the small pool, but it is cozy and a great place to chill out. The location is fine and close to a wide range of restaurants. The overall appearance for me, is that the hotel room needs an update. Our bed was tired and the room was dark in its color range. We had asked for a room on the highest level possible, both in writing on the booking and again when we arr... Read more

Great low key, luxurious hotel with character for days! You'd blink and miss it driving down the secluded street in Hollywood. That's partly why I loved it. When using the rooftop pool you feel completely private but in the middle of the city. The Demi suites area great for 2 and very large and so so cute. Love the little fireplaces. I can't imagine a larger 1 or 2 bedroom-they must be huge and great for families. Ryan the bartender at the rooftop was great. Fantastic specialty drinks and the mo... Read more

Great location and totally cool hotel - Boutique style - The bar, restaurant and pool area on the rooftop is amazing. It is garden style and the view is stunning. One thing that can be better is the gym - Very small.

Ok, about a decade ago steampunk was new and hip and the industrial-meets-whimsy was fun, unusual and delightfully quirky. BUT--that was a decade ago and the birdcages, toys, bric-a-brac and pillows that crowd the rooms are dusty, worn and broken. The smell of mildew was so strong in the two room suite we booked, we fled and took a downgraded room (for which we did not get a refund). It is noisy both inside and outside--as it is near a Los Angeles Fire Station. We had sirens all night. You ... Read more
