The hotel was lovely enough unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so the reason I chose this hotel which was for the rooftop pool and lounge area we were not able to take advantage of and if the weather is not great there's really no other place to hang out except for in your room. Overall our stay was good , they did know it was my birthday and did say they were going to do something special but I don't know what that was?? Also when I booked one of the master suites I called directly t... Read more

Petit Ermitage is private and beautiful. The hallways smell like a rose garden. The executive suite is perfect with its foliage covered balcony, fireplace and grand bathroom. It'll be hard for me to stay anywhere else in Los Angeles from now on.

Pros - Great location, nice atmosphere, great rooftop lounging and dining. Cons - Beds not ideal for two adults, too small. Bathroom a disappointment vs the price (door didn't close properly, bath itself looked cheap and small'ish). Woken up by someone coming into our room late evening to fix the fire (he was told the room was empty apparently). Also a lot of rooms, not really boutique in that respect.

As soon as you walk into Petit Ermitage, the wonderful smell of the lit candles hits you and it sets the scene for your stay. The boutique hotel is very unique in its offering, from its decor, smell and atmosphere. The room was quite large and had a remote fireplace as well as a small kitchenette. The gym was small but suitable equipped - a couple of cardio machines, dumbells and Swiss balls. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool or rooftop as it was under maintenance at the time.

A boutique hotel in West Hollywood? Yes, it can be done! And Petit Ermitage does it with such style and grace. I LOVED this hotel. Fabulous rooms, AMAZING rooftop with views of downtown LA and the hills. It honestly doesn't get much better. And the staff is superb. The hotel is perfectly situated for walking around West Hollywood. You're just steps from restaurants off Santa Monica and Sunset. This hotel will be the ONLY place I will stay in LA from here on out.

Rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious with all amenities. The hotel is quiet and intimate and yet with a friendly, attentive staff. The rooftop bar, pool and surrounds are a wonderful escape to enjoy the sunny LA climate. The hotel is well located in a quiet street but within easy reach of main roads such as Sunset Boulevarde.

I had an incredible stay. From the friendly welcome staff to the romantic room to the perfect rooftop, I knew it was going to be a great stay. I loved the art around the hotel and all of the funky details throughout. Plus they had Le Labo bath products, which are my favorite. Prior to my stay, I called multiple times and the front desk promptly helped with all of my requests. I would definitely recommend this hotel over the other places I've stayed in LA.

The Petit feels like home. The attention to detail is excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. Have breakfast on the terrace, in your slippers, if you like. Have a tea or cocktails poolside and take in the incredible skyline and sunsets. Have the macrobiotic bowl for lunch and coq au vin for dinner. Then shuffle your way back to your room in your slippers for a blissful night's sleep.

When I called, the Asian lady would not budge on a rate. When I asked her in reference to an online special, she wasn't peasant at all. The rate she quoted was 360. The rate online was 260. Perhaps we needed to stay online. Upon checking in, she was was transparent. The patio door lock was broken. The room had no hall light and the kitchen light was dim. My son parked our Lexus on the street after he dropped me at the entrance. Obviously, he didn't see the sign at the top of the street. It w... Read more

I loved everything about my stay and the hotel in general. The customer service was superior (and I have stayed in MANY hotels in my time). I also loved the character and vibe of the decor of the hotel. So sexy, chic, romantic, mysterious and COMFORTABLE!
