"What a fantastic trip I just had. From the moment I booked at the Luxe, the customer service was superb. The agent who booked my room and was so helpful and friendly. I arrived and was greeted by a staff member at the front desk.....what a truly lovely young lady she was. Sincere and genuine are words you do not find in customer service anymore....she was both. Daily, this young lady, would inquire about our stay to see if she could help in any way. Often, she would offer advice and be interested in our sightseeing adventures. I have traveled to Los Angeles so many times in my years and NEVER, have I had a more enjoyable stay anywhere in the United States or overseas. I asked to meet the General Manager to share my findings and I soon found out why the Hotel is so special. The General Manager is the reason everyone is happy, sincere and professional. I have been in the business world for 40 years and your success depends on the people around you. I believe you are only successful when you surround yourself with the best and she has done just that. I will stay here again and again. Thank you for making this trip so unforgettable and special. "Guys I'm sorry, but you are not doing a good job here. The hotel is divided into 2 buildings. The second building that is the one on top is older but renovated. However does not have any elevator. You might need to use stairs to go to your room, Too much walking. nThe Valet parking is kind of ridiculous, you will see your car from knowing that you can get it on your own, they leave the car open but NOBODY is at the valet parking station!!! you could wait for your keys for 15 to 20 minutes, if you are not going to have valet people ready then do not do Valet parking and charge $25 dollars tax per day per parking!!!! it is not fair. nnCalled housekeeping to do my room at 8 in the morning while I was going to breakfast, they said no problem, came back to my room, nothing changed, stayed until 12 noon, nobody did my room!!!!! had to call again. nnLocation is CRAZY on traffic, CRAZY, you cannot go out to buy anything because there is going to be so much traffice you do not want to go back to the hotel. nnI don't know, I never complaint, I travel a lot, I just did not like this hotel at all. n"

"My Husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel for 3 nights. Due to a problem with our booking site we were upgraded to a Suite in the upper level. Room was fantastic, loved the decor and the quietness of the area. Cant say enough about the staff, all of them were friendly and helpful. Loved the secluded pool area, we were able to unwind and relax. The breakfast staff were very attentive to our needs. Can highly recommend this hotel. If you have a car it is very easy access, being close to the freeways."

"The only great thing about this hotel is the location. Room was located adjacent to the hotel parking lot and the noise from cars arriving and leaving at all hours permeated the room. Room decor is dull and outdated. As for the staff, the less said the better. They are professionally unfriendly, pompous and snooty."
