A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of a 10 day trip to the west coast & we could not have been happier. The service from the front desk guys was exceptional. Particularly from jenny and her manager who dealt with a slight mishap with a dinner reservation brilliantly. I would say they delivered a 5 star + service, it made for a wonderful customer experience. Whilst the location may feel a little out of the way there is the benefit of the town car service which we used - Da... Read more

Because of our Intercontinental Ambassador membership, our room was upgraded. The perks are well worth the annual membership. Our room was amazing! It was a corner suite with so much space and floor to ceiling windows throughout with beautiful views of ocean and mountains. The deep soaking tub was great. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of room service and got good service. The French toast was a real treat! We would definitely stay here again.

I have been at the Intercontinental during a Work Convention and it was a great experience. Service is excelente, staff is always there to help you with whatever you need. Location is great, close to Beverly hills, not too far to Santa Monica, video drive is 10 minutes driving distance. The restaurant at the hotel is good but the menu is very small so after several days dinning there you might find yourself short of options, and is quiet expensive. However overall experience is very good, rooms... Read more

This is a good, standard Intercontinental establishment with very nicely appointed rooms and decor. My one bedroom suite was on a corner, so I enjoyed double aspect views and plenty of room. The bathroom is a strangely configured, there's lots of room but the basin is in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom. The shower has a variable water nozzle and there's plenty of hot water. Towels and robes are good. In the restaurant (Mari LA), the breakfast buffet is varied, but not extensive - with ho... Read more

Nice Bar for happy hour in lobby. Staff very friendly on arrival. Valet situation for parking a bit slow. Only negative is they charge you a pretty hefty fee for overnight parking.

I always choose the Intercontinental Century City when working anywhere near there in Los Angeles because (a) they uphold the IHG standards of excellent staff with friendly demeanor, (b) it's a beautiful property within easy walking distance of at least 6 or 7 law firms I work with in CC; (c) the workout room is well stocked with modern machines; (d) views from the rooms are restful (including the back view over the Fox Studios).

I will try the new hotel in 2017, but until then will look elsewhere.

Great business hotel. The lobby area is pretty nice, and you can walk through the lobby to the pool area. The rooms are pretty averaged size but very nicely decorated with the usual Intercontinental amenities. Try not to get picked up at the hotel but just outside on the street. If you time it wrong, you might have to wait as there might be a bunch of cars bottlenecking and blocking your uber driver. There is a starbucks in the hotel. If there's a line just walk half a block to the other *... Read more

The first thing we noticed was the warm welcome and friendly service. We liked the room which had 2 balconies, a small sitting room and a bedroom. The bed and bedding was excellent. We also had lunch in the bar and enjoyed it very much.

We stayed here with our Caravan tour and although it looked luxurious our room lacked a few niceties, like hot water. Showers bordered on tepid at best, the coffee maker couldn't be plugged in where they placed it so we sat it on the floor near an outlet. The bathroom was very large but counter space was much too small. Our room (806) had a nice wrap-around balcony with a great view of the city. The concierge was fabulous though and helped us get boarding passes because their guest printer w... Read more

Let me start by saying that I've tried multiple times to contact the staff, who does not get back to you and even an email to Steve Choe, the general manager of the hotel doesn't get you a response. Many hours after I checked out of this hotel, I don't even have a bill or a receipt I can look at and see the charges. What modern day hotel does not even provide a receipt of the stay? Apparently the systems were down overnight and guests were informed of the problem, but my card has multiple charge... Read more

This is a good hotel with reasonable rates and at a convenient location if you want to be close to both Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. It is also within walking distance from a major shopping mall. It's restaurant, Mari, is not recommended for lunch or dinner. The bar is quite nice, though.

After a small hiccup at check in which was fixed by a nice lady at the fix-it desk, I enjoyed a very nice stay at this facility. Rooms were very comfortable, and service was excellent. I needed a cell phone charger, and they accommodated by picking up my phone and taking to the bell desk where it was charged. Great breakfast buffet.

The two nights I spent in this hotel were exactly as I had hoped. The room (actually a one BR suite) was spacious, spotless and comfortable. The bed was wonderful and the room temperature right for sleeping. The hotel provided two bottles of water at no charge, and forgave my small intrusion into the minibar for a bottle of cranberry juice. Lunch in the hotel restaurant was delicious. Altogether, an excellent experience.

Loved this hotel--great location, outstanding service, and excellent spa. The food is a bit pricey but totally worth it. And don't miss the spa--best manicure I've ever had. The hotel also provides easy access to Santa Monica, Beverly Hills etc. If you want to wander around, there is a mall within walking distance.

Recently stayed at the Intercontinental Los Angeles and throughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is beautiful and every room has a balcony- ours looked out towards downtown LA and at night with all the lights, it was what you imagine LA to look like. It's also right next door to Fox Studios, and for all my celebrity "hunting" I never thought to check there! It's also close to Santa Monica Pier & beach, the best & easiest way to get there is to take the hotel chauffeur to the train. The train cost $2... Read more

First and foremost the property is outstanding. We wanted a quiet but comfortable stay in Los Angeles and they certainly delivered. The hotel is located in Century City so we found it convenient to just about everywhere in Los Angeles yet away from the busy areas so when you get back to the hotel you can relax. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. The bar had outstanding drinks but I cannot speak to the food. The valet was prompt and efficient. It seems most of the rooms have... Read more

The check in was very quick and our luggage (and delivered parcels) was taken to our room quickly. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Valet parking was great but it would have been nice if a car cleaning service was offered. We had a suite on a high floor and the views and the quietness was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean. I stayed for two nights at the Intercontinental during a business trip. It was an outstanding experience. I was booked in a room with two double beds, but they quickly upgraded me to a king size bed upon request, sending a bellman up to assist with my bags. The bed was extremely comfortable, the television was huge, and the view of the sunrise over the mountains was gorgeous. What impressed me the most of the hotel was the staff. I would generally recommend this hotel, with a few caveats. First of all, the location is very good. It's centrally located between Hollywood and the beaches. The hotel building itself is huge and stands alone on a large property. It's easy to get in and out, assuming you are valeting your car. This hotel allows food deliveries, which is great. The lobby and front entrance are generally very good, though I did see some extremely tacky colored-lighted drapes behind the reception desk and ne... Read more

We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental, as Ambassador members we were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Elite Residence at a reasonable cost. The room was lovely, service was great and the concierge service was also great with the use of the town car within a close radius. We asked to have our late check out extended as we had a late flight and again the hotel was so obliging which made our last day of our holiday in the USA even better as we didn't have the stress of checking out an... Amenities were great quality, room design/decor very modern. Nice robes, nice view, double balconies, clean, very nice. Service in the restaurant was good, and I don't typically use maid services so I cannot talk about those. However, the lounge/bar area service was beyond terrible. I waited a minimum of 30 minutes for anything that was ordered (in a virtually empty bar and not at a busy mealtime) waited for forever for drinks and to pay. We loved the view of the city from the hills. The location is great, away from the loud downtown, but close to attractions such as Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica. This was my first stay at this InterContinental. Overall it was a positive experience, but for this level of hotel, I expected better. We had an executive suite that was the furthest possible room from the elevator which was not a big deal -- probably the longest walk you'd have in LA. The shower controls were extremely flimsy and about to fall off the wall. I guess the drought continues to affect the city as the water pressure was weak.
