"Stayed here for 3 nights, 4 days. We had the King Superior Room and the pillows, sheets, and bed was very comfortable. Wish we had these at home! Anyways, we didn't really have a chance to explore the hotel because we were always out and about. There was so much to do nearby the hotel! The location is definitely great since it's right on Hollywood BLVD. We were able to walk to the Chinese Theatre, Madame Tussauds, Hollywood Museum, Highland and Hollywood Shopping Center, and the Metro station.

The only problem we had was when we checked in. We had to come back later because the room wasn't ready yet, which was fine with us. But we wanted to leave our suitcase and bags here, so the person that checked us in said she'll have someone come down and grab our bags. We waited at least 10-15 minutes, along with two other groups. The bag man didn't even noticed us waiting to have our bags taken. We had to approach the counter and ask them again. So she had to get another person to come down and get our bags. Also, later when we checked in they never told us how to get to our room. We had to find our way to the room.

Overall the hotel is really nice, but old. I would recommend it to whomever wants to be nearby Hollywood's best attractions."

"I stayed at the Roosevelt hotel on 3/23/13. When we got there to check in the agent at the front desk was friendly and had told us that they were going to upgrade our room to the cabana room .The room was being cleaned at the time so the wait for the room was approximately 20 minutes. So he got us a larger room up top. When we got into the room it was so plain, floors looked filthy, the curtains were stained with what looked like old blood, and the bathroom looked outdated. So we went downstairs and asked to be switched to the cabana room and they were very nice about letting us stay in the cabana room. The cabana room was alot nicer and up to date but smaller (which isn't a big issue). Apparently there was a playboy party going on but the shuttle was picking up their guests from the Roosevelt. When these guests came back from their party at 2:30am, the hallways were so loud!!!! People were yelling, screaming, and talking so loudly. I was literally awake from 2:30am-6:00am listening to people make so much noise in the hallway. Also the connecting room next to us had a couple who had also came home at 2:30am the girl was knocking on the door trying to get her boyfriend to open the door. When he finally let her in they were yelling and throwing stuff for 3 HOURS!!!! Besides the excellent customer service at the front desk, I did not enjoy my stay at all."

"This hotel is as gritty and dirty as the location it is in. Yes, this is a very famous and historic hotel but the cleanliness is disgraceful. The carpets both in the hallways and the room we stayed in are so filthy you would not dream of putting anything down on them. The walls are peeling. The lighting is dark and dingy.
The main clientele seems to be a very young hipster crowd. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are much better hotels in this outrageous price point."

"Just stayed at Hollywood Roosevelt and it was beyond amazing. Stayed in the NEW cabana rooms over the pool. They were very comfortable, decks, and all the amenities of a luxury hotel. This hotel is where all the action is at, right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and next to shopping, restaurants, nightlife, everything is right there. Staff was also great, beyond friendly and helpful. I absolutely can't wait to go back!"
