I have stayed at this hotel a total of eight times over the past 3 months while traveling to West Los Angeles. Some of the staff go above and beyond to help you including Janet and Asher. I book online then call the hotel directly to try and get a certain type of room, and the only person that will help me is Janet. Troy immediately transfers me to reservations, even though he is the one who can help me. I called three days in a row trying to change my room only to be immediately transferred to ... Read more

Recently stayed there for three nights. The place is more of a boutique hotel than a part of a chain and the staff there, especially the front desk team of Troy and Rosy was absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs and made sure that our stay there was perfect.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Century City for 4 nights, and we couldn't be more pleased with this hotel. It has a good location, just outside of Beverly Hills, close to the 405 freeway, and close to Santa Monica Blvd. The service was great. The staff was friendly, and the valet retrieved our car very quickly. The price per night was good, and it includes a free breakfast. We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next trip.

The front desk staff at this hotel are super. Each one we encountered was so helpful with directions and other information. The breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable and very clean with very good housekeeping. The location worked well for us traveling downtown, to Pasadena, and to the airport. Only valet parking was available; we would prefer self-park but they were always very prompt in retrieving the car.

A tip of the cap to the front desk manager Rashad. We arrived with four of us and were in a one queen bed room. Rashad did everything to correct. He was professional, friendly and accommodating. Rashad assisted in making us comfortable for the night and got us a larger room for the second. He continously checked in with us to see how we were doing. It was his attitude that was outstanding. Better hang on to this guy. This kind of service recovery is rare these days.

I was at this hotel with my husband & 7 month old baby FOR 3 HORRIBLE WEEKS due to a gas leak & my relocation company placing me there. THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I'VE STAYED AT IN MY LIFE & HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, if they can even call it that. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!! My review is long & detailed if you have time. If not here's the summary: managers -disrespectful, don't resolve anything & yell at you; all you can eat breakfast is not really all you can eat, just grab & go, stale, ar... Read more

Having stayed at Century city before I was not sure whether the Holiday Inn would be any good but we were well taken care of and it's location , which is a short walk from Beverly Hills was perfect. Only a short drive too Sunset and Hollywood as well as South to Santa Monica. Close to the freeway to get to Anaheim and Disneyland , it was ideal. Breakfast was included and they were very helpful with our parking needs as we had a 12 seater van. Fully recommend this hotel.

We chose this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews, and booked on the HI website. The hotel is well maintained and managed with a keen eye to customer service. Asher checked us in and even helped us with our luggage. He made it clear that hotel management would be available for any concerns, but we didn't have any. The room was immaculate and comfortable, the staff warm and accommodating, and the breakfast well stocked and delicious. Parking is valet only, and although I prefer to self-park, ... Read more

This hotel is quaint with a friendly vibe. Close to a great area. Particularly, their customer service is great. I had to make some adjustments that were complicated and Rashad at the front desk took the time and attention to figure it out. He was friendly andsmart and I would stay there again just based on his wonderful customer service.

I was in town from Nebraska for eye surgery. I was very nervous and worried about the trip. All of the staff we encountered at the hotel were so awesome! From Rashad on the first day who let us check in early to Mike who arranged a room move when a we had a unexpected problem with the AC. Ed was so helpful with recommendations for the area. The room was perfect and felt right at home for the time I had to spent there. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! :)

What a really nice hotel. We had a delayed flight and didn't check in until early morning. We were given a loft room with a great downstairs lounge area and lovely bathroom. Such a shame the hotel doesn't have a bar!! Plenty of wasted room upstairs for one ??? Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and a surprise evening turn down. Breakfast a bonus. When we asked for some tips and recommendations upon arriving, Ed was an enthusiastic wealth of information. Later on in our stay, Rashad was also extremely nice and took care of any issues we had right away. I just can't say enough about the two of them. Lorenzo was also a friendly and funny valet. The only complaint I really have is that our room was a little noisy being right on Olympic Blvd. The location was pretty convenient for getting to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and the beach though, as ... We stayed two nights at this location....We had a beautiful room with very comfortable beds. The valet was wonderful upon arrival. He took care of our bags and made us feel right at home. Rashad took care of us at the front desk whenever we had any questions. But all in all everyone at the front desk was attentive. I would stay here again without question as the location of the hotel is convenient to get to many areas in LA.

My 2 daughters and I arrived late that evening and we were greeted by Rashad. We had lots of questions since we were from NY and new to LA. He was so kind and patient and went out of his way to assist. Whatever we needed, he was so enthusiastic and kind to help. Most restaurants stop cooking after 10 and he was so helpful in calling around to let us know where to go so we wouldn't waste time. A nice hotel and spacious rooms, ours included a sofa which was useful when spending time within the room watching television in the evening. If visiting Santa Monica and Hollywood/Beverly Hills this hotel is in a good location between them both, due to the size of Los Angeles the location of your hotel choice will be key. We used the city sightseeing hop on hop off which worked well as a method of transport. The star line company associated with city sightseeing also provided a bus service to U... Read more

My wife and I were looking for a reasonably priced and reputable hotel that was close to the Getty Center, and this Holiday Inn Express fit the bill. First time in LA, hotel was easy to find using Satnav. Valet parking staff were all pleasant and helpful as were reception, especially Rashad who made us very welcome and at ease and provided useful info re getting about and facilities in the immediate vicinity. Don??t want to ramble but this stay was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. 1) Made the reservation months in advance for a king room. When I arrived there was an error so we got a tiny, old and smelly corner room with a queen bed. The room was terrible so I asked them to please honor my reservation. They begrudgingly offered a suite for the first night then we would have to switch rooms. 2) On our second night after switching rooms, they mismanaged their system and gave our room key to... Reasonable hotel but still pricy compared to other hotels in The area. If you have a need to be in close proximity to Beverley hills you may find it appropriate to stay at other wise look for a different one. The staff are friendly and helpful specially Rasheed. One of the staff handling the valet parking is absolutely roud and unfriendly (i forget his name but he was in duty around 12:30 PM today Sept 17th). However, I understand this sevice is provided by a company independent from the hotel.

Holiday Inn Express Hotels are meant to be pretty basic, simple and low price, as they're just meant to be a bed for the evening, but this place was well over priced for what the hotel is. Front desk staff member (Asha) was very rude upon checking in, but the guy later in the afternoon on the day was a lot better, more welcoming as a Spire Elite member and accommodating, thanks! I paid the $20 for parking although it looked like street parking was available on weekends. Check-in was easy and the room I was assigned was very large (split level) however it faced the road. It was also very hot but cooled down after the A/C was turned on. The road noise was intrusive but as it doesn't bother me I didn't ask to be moved but if you're sensitive to road noise be sure to ask for a rear facing room. It is just an ok hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was firm but not really uncomfortable. It is an old Holiday Inn that they've put new signs over the Holiday Inn signs. At night you see the old Holiday Inn sign clearly thru the new sign. My room was awkward.
