Nice place to stay but breakfast is an additional charge. Eating out before business meetings is not always possible and sometimes just a bowl of oatmeal and piece of fruit is all you want. Plan to pay $13 for that oatmeal. If your going to go all out an eat big it's not bad.

Very accommodating staff. As a guest you feel you are welcome and appreciated. This hotel was much more affordable than those closer to LA proper. It is a short drive from LAX. Although it is adjacent to the 405, it was very quiet in the room. If you really listened, you could hear the freeway, but you really had to try.

This place is convenient in every way - close to freeway, quick check in and check out, easy and close parking. Very clean, very well-run, amenities modern and comfortable, staff competent and unobtrusive. Highly recommend.

Room didn't get cleaned once. And the rate that I was quoted they did not honor. Will never return to this facility ever. Manager wasn't helpful at all and wasn't willing to help in anyway. The response was oh well

This Hilton Garden was newer and more modern than many of the HGs that I stay at. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to dine here, but the hotel was clean, and there was a very useful gym with newer cardio and weight equipment. It was fairly expensive, but it is the Los Angeles area.

We were a little concerned that the hotel was located near a freeway but were pleasantly surprised there was no noise in our fantastic room with a luxury bathroom. Excellent breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Very good stay!!

This is a comfortable close hotel to LAX. As with most of this Hilton brand a minimum standard is generally maintained. That is the case here. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean and quiet. We didn't use the bar or the restaurant or room service. Easy in easy out!

I have truly enjoyed my stay. I have nothing but great memories and a wonderful experience during the stay. The hot breakfast was awesome. The rooms were modern and decorated beautifully. Lastly the fitness center was small but great equipped with towels and little head phones (which I loved).

Hubby and I checked in the Redondo/Manhattan Hilton Garden Inn for an extended long weekend to celebrate my birthday. I told the front desk manager and I'll say it again - this is the most well kept and beautiful Garden Inn I've ever stayed at. HGI is my go-to for work travels, and it exceeds my expectation every time, no matter where I am in the country. The cleanliness and hospitality is consistent and that's key when you're living half your life in and out of hotels. This particular hotel... Read more

I had a wonderful experience here. The staff was very helpful, courteous, professional, welcoming and service-oriented. I truly enjoyed myself and would recommend this hotel to everyone. I was asked right away whether I was an HHonors member (my company had not included it in the reservation) and the front desk attendant made sure I received credit for my stay. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

This is a new hotel. It has a hot tub and small pool, a restaurant and bar and conference facilities. We were in town for a wedding and it fit the bill. Clean and comfortable. Sound proofing was inadequate and I thought it was a little pricey for a simple place to sleep.

Had to pay for parking, dirty room, not a good area, no breakfast included, bad service, and overcharged me for my room. The rooms are not worth the expense and the rate. I asked to stay one extra night and they were charging me 2x the amount I paid for one night. Very disappointed and I will not be staying in this hotel again. Stay next door at the Marriot.

The train staff should try to understand the guest better. Try to work not only by the standard operating procedures but by heart. Because we are dealing with human, not just mere an object of business.

Nice, crisp bed sheets on a king size bed, quiet, keurig coffee maker was part of the good experience. A bit pricey without breakfast, but with complimentary water and tea station. I think the laundry area for guests was a useful treat!

The room was not cleaned, there were several pieces of long black hair all over the entry area. It was very apparent that the entry was not cleaned at all. I called the manager up to look at the situation, and he agreed it was not acceptable. The wall a/c unit was loud and kept me up all night and you could not read the digital readout, parts of the numbers were not readable. Would not recommend this location

Very nicely updated property right off of highway. Our room was great and the customer service was good! We also ate dinner there and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. Our server, bartender, and chef were good! Jeffery at the front desk was super nice and gave us great customer service! Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice property. Modern clean rooms and a nice lobby and dining area. Not in a neighborhood and right off the highway. So not the most scenic area but convenient to getting around LA. Would stay here again. Fitness center is nice as well. Only complaint is that the bathroom door closes automatically so you can't keep it open and the showers are not great. No tub and the pressure isn't great.

Overall hotel staff were courteous, accommodating, and hospitable, however; my greatest frustration lies in my room assignment. As Hilton Honors members may be aware of, there is a terrific system that permits one to check-in ahead of time and select from available rooms. I'm not sure if my ordeal was due to a glitch in the system, but I was only permitted to select Room 212. I should've questioned this from the start but opted to go forward as I knew I would be arriving late and wanted to exped... Read more

This hotel is lovely. It seems brand new, everything is spotless clean, well maintained. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, like sleeping on clouds. Rain water shower head, very nice. Also, the staff is 100% perfect, from the waiter at lunch to the front desk clerks. also it is close to the beaches, a great shopping center, and the airport. I will definitely be back!

This was the first time in years that I that we opted to stay in the South Bay area for a weekend beach getaway. Normally we stay in Huntington Beach or Newport but being that we were headed to Universal Studios this was an easier drive. This hotel is an easy drive to many of the LA beaches and attractions. Manhattan beach and the Redondo Pier are within 15 minute drive. The location of the hotel lacks any real dining options that suited our palettes but numerous within a short drive. The ho... Close to the airport and at walking distance from the metro station. Excellent for those departing from the airport and also for visiting the city.

Stayed here over the Labor Day weekend and I definitely will be back. Very clean spacious room, staff was super friendly and they have a bar area (total plus for me.) I ordered room service and the guy who took my order (forgot his name) was so nice! When I checked out, was given a cute little bag with water and pretzels. They do charge a $10.00 a night parking fee but I didn't have a problem with that. This is my new hotel!

This hotel was perfect for our trip to the LA area. We were ten to fifteen minutes away from the Hermosa, Redondo, and Manhattan beaches and only about 30 minutes outside of downtown LA (without traffic). Our room was very clean and the whole hotel felt fresh & updated. For the price per night, it was a perfect option.

Tried the HGI Redondo Beach on a recommendation. It's a newer hotel and is closer to LAX than you think. It's at the end of the Metro light-rail Green line that runs closest to the airport. Yes it's a tight spot, with the 405 freeway to one side and the Metro on the other, but for some reason it works! Quiet, can't hear either transportation alternative. Nice bar; got to watch most of a key Dodgers game there - they have Time Warner/Charter/Spectrum cable in-house. Plenty of parking - and yes if... Read more

The hotel is close to Lax and the beaches of Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach. Close to the highway. Shame that you have to pay the outside paying park. 10 dls per night. The hotel looks brand new with great main areas and rooms but the cleanness was simply horrible. I had a blood stain in the sheet and lots of hairs in the bathroom floor. If the cleanness was good the hotel could be a 4 stars.

The hotel is nice and modern, looks like they're trying to fit into the whole LA modern theme, the lobby is inviting. The check in was pretty quick. Overnight parking is $10 (much better than some other hotels). It's between two freeways so not much "scenery" but the location is pretty convenient and close to the freeway. The only complaint we had was the water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent.

I stay at a lot of different hotels across the country. Usually in a BIG city you will find hospitality lacking in some hotels, that is not the case with the Hilton Garden Inn in Redondo Beach CA. From the time I checked in to the minute I checked out I was pleasantly impressed. Matt greeted me and welcomed me by name and thanked me as a return guest. This hotel's accommodations were nice and included a microwave and fridge in the room. Great for just an overnight stay. One of the two elevators wasn't working so wait times could be a bit long. No ice in the ice machine was frustrating. It was late at night so didn't feel like waiting for the one elevator to try a different floor.

First of all, a nice clean property. I was concerned of possible road noise, but the property is well built and very quite inside. A/C is a wall unit under the window, but much quieter than other models. A downer is Parking, $10/day. An upper is that wifi is included. They do have one large issue, not enough maids. I was having the typical issues attempting to find a convenient, clean and safe hotel for my family to stay at. We were in town for a MLS game at Stubhub Center. Having stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn before, I figured it was a safe bet. Accessing the hotel initially seemed odd. It sits off the main road in a not clean area. But don't let this discourage you. I was excited from the pictures online however was sorely disappointed by the fact that it was next to a noisy industrial area where we heard noises all night. The elevator was out of order so to get to the 4th floor took forever. And pay attention to the fine print about the $10 per a day parking- which is crazy because it is just a regular parking lot they share with another hotel. Also do not waste your money upgrading to the "luxury" bathroom. It is a normal bathroom

The rooms are spacious with a walk in shower. The hotel is a newer hotel. Staff is super nice. The breakfast was good Hot and Cold food. Stayed at this Hilton Garden for two nights, and it couldn't have been better. It is not on the beach, but near, maybe 2 miles or so.
