"Hmmm! my stay was pretty nice. my biggest complaint was all the noise early in the morning from doors closing and people dropping or banging things. the walls seem so paper thin! before i booked my trip some people complained about being on the odd side of the hotel where a hallway runs because of plan noises but that didnt really bother me. i barely heard planes passing by. the noise from inside the hotel was more of a nusance than anything.

the hotel staff was very nice. Parking is a little expensive i think for hotel guests but i did like the convenience of having on site parking. bring the price down a few dollars wouldnt hurt though. the bathroom was small and towel holder was falling a part a bit but other than that i still enjoyed my time in LA. it was my first time in LA and at the Four Points and as a hotel worker myself, i get it that things are not always going to be as good as it looks or seems. im not one to complain much but overall i enjoyed my stay despite all the noise every morning and the small bathroom. my 5 days of fun activites outweighed the early morning noise makers.

i would recommend to others but i would also recommend to call in advanced to secure a quiet room!!!! in a corner possibly. i asked for a quiet, high floor, and although i got the high floor, the elevator makes the ride down or up seem long. especially when it has to slop on other floors. but as i said, i still had a great time in LA and the staff was incredibly nice, attentive and friendly."

"Normally I pick a four points over any other but after this-not so sure. Where to begin... the first 2 rooms we were given had windows that faced a hallway. This meant you could not open your curtains without everyone walking by being able to see in. People were knocking on the glass at 3am. No in room control of the air conditioner. Way too warm and muggy. Coffee maker smelled like mildew. There were blood stains and burn holes in the blankets and sheets.There was no directions on how to access the internet so I called the front desk to inquire. Was told only UNSECURED wireless was available. When I asked about the plug for internet on the desk I was told they didn't work. After a talk with the night manager about all the issues we were offered the chance to move to different rooms in the morning. We moved to 'better' rooms that looked somewhat renovated, didn't have the weird window hall. TV signal kept going out. Had to scrunch down to get under shower head, and I am only 5'5'. Shower head was loose from wall, grout in floor was very dirty. My daughter 's room was across the hall and above the trash dumpsters. Each morning at 6am the employees would be out there dumping trash and talking and laughing very loudly. When we went to check out there was a $10 a day charge for the refrigerators we had in the rooms. We were told on the phone before arriving and at the desk upon arrival that the charge was $10, not $10 dollars each day! Parking was $19 a day. Didn't mind it until I noticed there was handicapped parking for free! My husband is handicapped but since there was only 4 spaces it was nearly impossible to get one of these spots. And how unfair that 4 cars don't have to pay but everyone else does!! I do have to say that the manager did take the charge for the refrigerators off the bill, but I truly believe it was just to get us out of there."

"Like the hotel a lot - really clean, great eco practices, nice staff. Just don't eat at the restaurant. My daughter and I tried the breakfast buffet one morning for $17 each and all of the food was hard as a brick, except for the eggs and they were like eating rubber."

Common areas were very nice, modern-minimalist and inviting. The only downside was the expensive parking, $19.
