I stayed here for 3 nights as it was an ideal location for the places I wanted to visit in LA. The hotel itself is fairly modern, clean and tidy. I had a room on the 3rd floor which overlooked the air conditioning units which were fairly loud. The double twin-bed guest rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy. It comes with amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Other items such as toothpaste are available upon request, which is a great touch! A downside is parking. You can pay p... Stayed for one night having landed into LAX to travel onwards the next day. The shuttle to the hotel was extremely busy (they are every twenty minutes, so expect them to be busy). On arrival the check in was efficient and we went to our room. The decor in the communal areas was drab and in need of brightening up. In our room (11th floor) the room was very clean, but also very tired. It needed redecorating, with paper peeling in some areas of the room, not excessively, but enough to notice. The r... Read more

I normally stay at the Hilton down the street as I get pretty good benefits due to status. I was told this hotel treats Priority Club Platinum members well and given its more modern appearance I thought it was worth giving a try. I am glad I did. On arrival I lucked out with the shuttle and it arrived a couple of minutes after I got to the shuttle pickup spot. I will typically walk but it was late and I was tired so I took the shuttle. They have their own and do not share which is nice. Check-... Read more

Did not expect much on a one night stay here on a recent trip. I was pleasantly surprised - clean hotel with nice rooms and a great lobby and restaurant area. Service was excellent - found a loose button on my suit jacket and they were prompt in getting me a sewing kit. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was good. Very convenient stay close to LAX

I checked in and went to the bar/restaurant at 9 pm. The bartender, Lynn, was a rockstar!!! For some reason, they were switching their systems over for computer stuff while things were still open (instead of waiting until everything was closed for the night). Lynn had to enter things manually and calculate the tax using her phone. I wish the hotel would have sent her 1 or 2 people. She was pouring drinks, running food, adding up bills manually, washing plates and glasses AND being friendly and f... Read more

A good airport hotel just outside LAX. A regular shuttle bus runs to and from the airport and very efficient. Checkin was very swift being a Spire member. The room was spotless but maybe a little tired and needing modernisation. Several restaurants to chose from - the grill serves nice pizza. Handy hotel for a short airport stay.

I have stayed at the LAX Hilton on my past 2 airport stays but got a good deal this time so decided to try the Crowne Plaza. Nice surprise. It was an older hotel but they have done a great job renovating it to make it seem fresh and new. Wifi was pretty slow but not a deal breaker since I was just there for the night and didn't need to use it much. I probably wouldn't recommend it for a business trip if you need fast internet. Hotel was nice. Our room was clean and fit the four of us well. The bathroom was white and modern-looking. We enjoyed it. Although people told it was "far from everything", it didn't seem anymore than 10 miles from all the places we wanted to party, eat, or drink. The hotel could've used better food options as there wasn't a whole lot to eat (nothing we wanted anyway) right outside of it, but it was still a good choice if you're sightseeing or hanging out in LA. A few weeks ago I stayed at the LAX Crowne Plaza since I had a forced night over between flights. I decided on the Crowne Plaza since I had reward points to use so I got a free night in LA. When I exited the luggage area at LAX, I waited for the shuttle at the hotel shuttle pickup and was picked up in around 20-minutes (returning to the airport the shuttle dropped off directly at the ter... The Crowne Plaza is a nice hotel with easy access to the airport. Our room was comfortable and ear plugs were provided in case airplanes taking off and landing at the nearby airport were a problem. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant and had no problems getting to sleep. In the morning, the valet service was very quick. Additionally, the hotel was only about 3 blocks from where we needed to return our rental car, which was convenient.

Was staying the area for 2 nights. Check-in was fairly easy. Found room clean and cozy. Bed was a seemed a little worn out. I had a south facing room, so I was able to see and hear planes start their takeoff. Internet was not the greatest very slow and at times unreliable. For my 2 nights stay, I was awoken to a group of protesters at 7 AM. It seems like there's some sort of labor dispute going on. Soundproofing of the room was terrible. I would definitely recommend for overnight or a business trip. I did not try the wifi, pool, or any extra amenities. The room was clean, quiet, and had the things I needed. After having traveled and been awake 24 hours, we hoped to have a good nights rest. However, not knowing this would be so bad, they put us in a front room. This hotel is great. Love the bed, large counter in the bathroom, and of course proximity to LAX. That is also a caveat. It's noisy so I left the AC unit on. They also were skimpy on towels. One each washcloth face and bath towel per person. So if you are a couple and one of you needs an extra towel for your hair it's not there. So close you could walk to LAX (as the crow flies). This is actually just across the street from terminal property. Light sleepers might want to bring or request earplugs if placed on the terminal side. Otherwise, nice modern, clean, comfortable commercial property with a cafe open til about 11:00 at least. Self airport parking garage within the block (behind the adjacent hotel) was about $15 for 10 hours. My Priceline deal discount reflected the noise concern.

Stayed for one night before an early flight to the airport. Ate dinner in the hotel bar and drank a local IPA. Overall a very pleasant experience. If there is no short term parking near registration the whole road behind the hotel has 2 hour meters which only cost $1 per hour.

The hotel room itself was fine, adjacent to LAX. But the shuttle service to the airport was the worst I've ever been on. A very busy morning, infrequent and over crowded buses, and people had to be left behind. Basically, this is an airport service hotel, and I will not stay again.

Crowne Plaza is a well established brand, I don't need to explain how good the room was. The hotel is close to the airport, if you have an early morning flight like me, I strongly recommended staying at the Crowne Plaza LA. Also, this hotel provides 24 hour shuttle service form the hotel to the Airport. The shuttle runs every 20-30 mins. It only takes 15 mins, you will get off at your terminal at the LA Airport.

First impression was that wait time for checking in was long. At the time there were only two receptionists and there were at least 10 people waiting in line. The room was clean and the bathroom was adequately supplied but the water pressure for the wash basin was very low. We were on the 14th floor looking at the runways and we didn't hear anything. Shuttle to the airport was quick and simple. We would recommend this hotel for a typical airport over night stay.

We stopped there as our flight into LA got in late. Too late to pick up the car and too tired to even think about driving. Room and bathroom good enough for one night. Wouldn't do anymore than that. Signs of wear and tear and also bathroom not 100% clean e.g. lots of limescale. Food is expensive and no proper plates or cutlery - styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery. This hotel is within walking distance from the airport although it does offer a shuttle bus. The hotel room was clean and tidy and staff very nice. Only problem is it isn't very close to food (not the hotels fault) and the room service does not extend past 11pm. If you have a late flight in this is worth taking into account. I knew it was a bad sign when I walked into the room and the hotel leaves ear plugs. While an airport hotel, there was no attempt at sound-proofing. Hence, wide awake at midnight with all the jet activity on the runaway. No gift shop. A couple of restaurants which were ok, basic, tasty food. As a result, exhausted after a noisy night. Very helpful staff, clean all over except for the exterior windows which for those of us who like to watch airport activity was disappointing. Also, music in the lobby was generally way too loud. The food and drinks available in the lobby were very good and reasonably, for a hotel, priced. Good Danish!

Ridiculous that you need to wait about 30 minutes for the hotel shuttle bus to pick you up at LAX when you see Marriott and Sheraton hotels in the same area passing by three times each while you're waiting for one shuttle to the Crowne Plaza. There is 5 room elevators, during the time i stayed 11/4-11/6, at times, only three were working, there shouldn't be a line of people into the lobby for guests waiting for an elevator. Then, you pay $23 a night for self parking and those elevators are not... Read more

We thought we could drive home after our flight (a few hours) but realized that wouldn't be wise and needed to stay near the airport. The hotel felt like it was in the city and had great food and beverages after a long day of travel.

We have two small kids and it was hard waiting 40 mins for a shuttle from the airport. Then when one came, there was not enough room for the luggages and my husband had to stay behind for another 30 mins to catch the next shuttle. The hotel was nice and staffs were friendly.

Staff is super friendly Rooms are not the newest but very comfortable Self service laundry for +/- 4 dollars If you like air planes ask for a room on the airport side you have a direct view on the landing tracks Airconditioning is on throughout the entire hotel on around 58 degrees F and 15 C. Self parking is around 23 dollars for the night The price is slightly high, but entire Los Angeles is expensive Take in mind that most prices communicated in the States are excluding tax

The hotel is in good proximity to the airport. The location is very close to the rental car return area. The taproom and restaurants within the hotel are very good. I especially like the sushi bar. There is a shuttle to and from the airport if needed. And if you need to park your car in the garage it is located very close to the hotel and the cost is relative to other hotels within the area.

Delta messed up our return to Hawaii and put us up overnight at the Crowne Plaza. it has been 20 years since I last stayed here and I had some concern on property condition. Reception understood our plight and comped us two drinks plus bonus priority points. Room small but clean and updated. Considering age of hotel, room, lobby and restaurant in great shape. Had dinner at restaurant and was well pleased. Shuttle to LAX quick and efficient. Would recommend this hotel to anyone needing something... Read more

After flying for 14 hours and arriving very early (8AM), Diamon had been a breath of fresh air for our team of 15 who came all the way from Melbourne Australia. After initially being ignored at the check-in counter by one of the staff who just left us unattended and just simply said the hotel is full, Diamon came and saved the day. I love how she treated with dignity and respect. What a great asset for the hotel considering that my past experience two years ago wasn't that great. This is special... Read more

The hotel offers good amenities, mainly considering its purpose of short stays. Nevertheless, a little more kindness would have been nice. I had a problem with my air company that finally gave a voucher to the hotel, but with no previous contact. When arriving the hotel, I was exhausted and stressed, but had to wait a long time until the problem was solved. Of course if was a problem mainly of the air company, but I would expect more comprehension from the hotel employees.

Arrived late evening from Paris, stood on the elite line for 5-10 min. while desk clerk organized himself. No one in front of me and no one in back. Other clerk busy with another. Went to room no refrigerator, had one sent to my room. finally settled in, "no internet" called operator, connected with right person who told me to wait until he created a new password. waited 10 min, hung up and went downstairs and said passwords do not work. A good place to stay after arriving in LAX . Close to airport and free shuttles run frequently from airport to hotel. The restaurant has a good menu and I had a good meal there. Due to its being near to LAX the noise level isn't conforming but it's ok for one night

This is my second stay in this hotel, but first as a Platinum Ambassador member. Got the upgrade to Club Floor, but there was no service because of holiday. Had a very nice shuttle service from Hotel to the airport with a very kind and helpful driver. I wish I could have had this service when arrived to the airport. Tired at late night (~11:40 pm), and without schedule (vague every 20 minutes) we had to take a taxi (that charged us $20 in spite of the short distance). I missed the sleep advant... Read more

Great location with easy access to places to eat. There's a Starbucks a block away and a pizza place if you feel like eating out. The hotel's sushi place is worth the money. I tried their rotisserie chicken as well.

Hotel checkin was pleasent, forgot to be given my breakfast voucher which is a must breakfast buffet for 3 $86.00 so dont forget your vouchers, room was typical nothing super lavish but the beds are very comfortable. The downstairs resturant has many choices of food from steaks to seafood or even sushi...large selection of beer for those beer drinkers local and world flavors. We enjoyed our stay but if anyone has stayed in LAX hotels its pricey so expect to pay $200 up for you night stay

staff very friendly, property well-maintained, frequent shuttle to airport (LAX so close one could walk it on sidewalk with light luggage); was assigned a room with 2 double beds, which for our couple of 2 tall people wasn't ideal - prefer single king, but as I had booked via Priceline bid I guess that's the way it goes; still, I wish most hotels would just go with mostly kings

I chose this hotel for my stopover because it's near to the airport and provide frequent free 24hrs shuttle to/from airport. Easy check out as you can do it from your room. The room is comfortable but if you're concern about runway noise maybe can request a quitter room. The hotel store luggage for us if we like to do some shopping before flight. We can take uber or bus to the nearest town. very easy! They provide free internet too.

Had a very early morning flight from LAX and was looking for a hotel which had free airport shuttle. Dined at the hotel's Japanese sushi restaurant. We had lived in Japan before so we know what authentic Japanese food is. We were hopeful when we realised the restaurant had a Japanese chef and it certainly did not disappoint!

Perfect location, attentive staff and rooms so quiet you never hear plane noise. The staff gives impeccable service from the time you check in to the moment of check out. All hotels need to follow this example.
