I stayed here for 3 nights as it was an ideal location for the places I wanted to visit in LA. The hotel itself is fairly modern, clean and tidy. I had a room on the 3rd floor which overlooked the air conditioning units which were fairly loud. The double twin-bed guest rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy. It comes with amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Other items such as toothpaste are available upon request, which is a great touch! A downside is parking. You can pay p... Stayed for one night having landed into LAX to travel onwards the next day. The shuttle to the hotel was extremely busy (they are every twenty minutes, so expect them to be busy). On arrival the check in was efficient and we went to our room. The decor in the communal areas was drab and in need of brightening up. In our room (11th floor) the room was very clean, but also very tired. It needed redecorating, with paper peeling in some areas of the room, not excessively, but enough to notice. The r... Read more

I normally stay at the Hilton down the street as I get pretty good benefits due to status. I was told this hotel treats Priority Club Platinum members well and given its more modern appearance I thought it was worth giving a try. I am glad I did. On arrival I lucked out with the shuttle and it arrived a couple of minutes after I got to the shuttle pickup spot. I will typically walk but it was late and I was tired so I took the shuttle. They have their own and do not share which is nice. Check-... Read more

Did not expect much on a one night stay here on a recent trip. I was pleasantly surprised - clean hotel with nice rooms and a great lobby and restaurant area. Service was excellent - found a loose button on my suit jacket and they were prompt in getting me a sewing kit. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was good. Very convenient stay close to LAX

I checked in and went to the bar/restaurant at 9 pm. The bartender, Lynn, was a rockstar!!! For some reason, they were switching their systems over for computer stuff while things were still open (instead of waiting until everything was closed for the night). Lynn had to enter things manually and calculate the tax using her phone. I wish the hotel would have sent her 1 or 2 people. She was pouring drinks, running food, adding up bills manually, washing plates and glasses AND being friendly and f... Read more

A good airport hotel just outside LAX. A regular shuttle bus runs to and from the airport and very efficient. Checkin was very swift being a Spire member. The room was spotless but maybe a little tired and needing modernisation. Several restaurants to chose from - the grill serves nice pizza. Handy hotel for a short airport stay.

I have stayed at the LAX Hilton on my past 2 airport stays but got a good deal this time so decided to try the Crowne Plaza. Nice surprise. It was an older hotel but they have done a great job renovating it to make it seem fresh and new. Wifi was pretty slow but not a deal breaker since I was just there for the night and didn't need to use it much. I probably wouldn't recommend it for a business trip if you need fast internet. Hotel was nice. Our room was clean and fit the four of us well. The bathroom was white and modern-looking. We enjoyed it. Although people told it was "far from everything", it didn't seem anymore than 10 miles from all the places we wanted to party, eat, or drink. The hotel could've used better food options as there wasn't a whole lot to eat (nothing we wanted anyway) right outside of it, but it was still a good choice if you're sightseeing or hanging out in LA. A few weeks ago I stayed at the LAX Crowne Plaza since I had a forced night over between flights. I decided on the Crowne Plaza since I had reward points to use so I got a free night in LA. When I exited the luggage area at LAX, I waited for the shuttle at the hotel shuttle pickup and was picked up in around 20-minutes (returning to the airport the shuttle dropped off directly at the ter... The Crowne Plaza is a nice hotel with easy access to the airport. Our room was comfortable and ear plugs were provided in case airplanes taking off and landing at the nearby airport were a problem. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant and had no problems getting to sleep. In the morning, the valet service was very quick. Additionally, the hotel was only about 3 blocks from where we needed to return our rental car, which was convenient.

Was staying the area for 2 nights. Check-in was fairly easy. Found room clean and cozy. Bed was a seemed a little worn out. I had a south facing room, so I was able to see and hear planes start their takeoff. Internet was not the greatest very slow and at times unreliable. For my 2 nights stay, I was awoken to a group of protesters at 7 AM. It seems like there's some sort of labor dispute going on. Soundproofing of the room was terrible. After having traveled and been awake 24 hours, we hoped to have a good nights rest. However, not knowing this would be so bad, they put us in a front room. This hotel is great. Love the bed, large counter in the bathroom, and of course proximity to LAX. That is also a caveat. It's noisy so I left the AC unit on. They also were skimpy on towels. One each washcloth face and bath towel per person. So if you are a couple and one of you needs an extra towel for your hair it's not there. There is a nice restaurant/bar area, and a convenient spot to get coffee/pastries in the morning. However, make sure to ask for a quieter room that doesn't directly face the airport runway. On one of my stays I felt like the planes taking off were right on top of me! Also, be ready for $30+/day for parking/valet.

So close you could walk to LAX (as the crow flies). This is actually just across the street from terminal property. Light sleepers might want to bring or request earplugs if placed on the terminal side. Otherwise, nice modern, clean, comfortable commercial property with a cafe open til about 11:00 at least. Self airport parking garage within the block (behind the adjacent hotel) was about $15 for 10 hours. My Priceline deal discount reflected the noise concern.

The hotel room itself was fine, adjacent to LAX. But the shuttle service to the airport was the worst I've ever been on. A very busy morning, infrequent and over crowded buses, and people had to be left behind. Basically, this is an airport service hotel, and I will not stay again.

Crowne Plaza is a well established brand, I don't need to explain how good the room was. The hotel is close to the airport, if you have an early morning flight like me, I strongly recommended staying at the Crowne Plaza LA. Also, this hotel provides 24 hour shuttle service form the hotel to the Airport. The shuttle runs every 20-30 mins. It only takes 15 mins, you will get off at your terminal at the LA Airport.

Arrived from Malibu Along PCH at check in time, Had a pleasant drive except for usual LA traffic. Valet parked our car and bellman took our luggage, very good organization. The hotel was spotless and the very courteous and informative bellman took us up to our very clean and spacious luxurious room, The property is very well maintained and the grounds are spotless, We had dinner that night in the hotel lobby and met some wonderful people. Had a few cocktails in the lounge with excellent service,... Read more

Stayed here for a few nights at the end of a trip around California before catching flight back from LAX. Hotel is very close to the airport in a good location and the free shuttle there is convenient and stress free. Despite being close to the airport we hardly heard any plane noise, and they provide earplugs incase you do. The room was immaculate and modern, with very comfy beds. Staff were efficient and helpful and restaurant was also very good. Basic wifi is free and does the job - you only... Read more

First impression was that wait time for checking in was long. At the time there were only two receptionists and there were at least 10 people waiting in line. The room was clean and the bathroom was adequately supplied but the water pressure for the wash basin was very low. We were on the 14th floor looking at the runways and we didn't hear anything. Shuttle to the airport was quick and simple. We would recommend this hotel for a typical airport over night stay.

We booked this hotel for one night on a stop over in LA. There is a free shuttle that comes from outside the terminal to the hotel but you can be waiting up to 20 minutes for this to arrive. There are around 20 shuttles leaving from the same spot so you are sitting in fumes for that time!! The shuttle is blue and is labelled Crowne Plaza. It is a short drive to the hotel. Check in was quick. Rooms were okay and what we expected for a airport hotel. Pool was out of the sun and not very app... Read more

Good service, and perfect location near the airport. I especially like the jetsetter kit, and the comfortable bed. I did not have a hard time sleeping, despite the jet lag and time difference. Will love to stay again.

this was our second time to the Crown Plaza and we were there about 4 years ago and the place has held up well. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean and the porter was extremely helpful and friendly! There is a restaurant downstairs that had good food as there really is nothing in the area , just other airport hotels. We would stay there again if we had to lay over.

The rooms are nice. Good overall lighting, Very good working chair and desk. Liked the bathroom spacious long clean counter and one door/closet concept. Unfortunately the windows do not offer airport noise isolation ... ear plugs were provided in the room, really?! The food and beverage lounge options are excellent and a good choice to avoid going out or ordering in. Was not happy with the check in/out staff friendliness and efficiency.

Great hotel. Ticked all the boxes. Quick check in, polite staff, plenty of lifts, spacious room with large comfy beds. I especially loved the Temple Spa toiletries. A lovely bonus. We are in the bar which was pricey but great food. We shared a club sandwich. It came with chips and was plentiful for 2 $16 The only thing that would stop me coming back was the shuttle. In fairness it was busy but we had to wait 30 minutes for a bus. In that time last other hotel shuttles passed at least twice. Rena... Read more

We stopped there as our flight into LA got in late. Too late to pick up the car and too tired to even think about driving. Room and bathroom good enough for one night. Wouldn't do anymore than that. Signs of wear and tear and also bathroom not 100% clean e.g. lots of limescale. Food is expensive and no proper plates or cutlery - styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery. Shuttle bus regular but old and tired.

Doors slamming, planes noises, people talking in the all way, car doors slamming and sounds of water running through the pipes kept me from having a restful night. Started out bad. Completely ignored by the bell staff. Elevator was dirty an hot. Room is dated and shower had black grime (mold?) on shower title. Bed was comfortable. Outlet did not work next to bed. Overpriced motel. Ordered room service. Got order wrong glass had food in it

Wow - this hotel was actually better than expected, and it's nice to be pleasantly surprised for a change. PROS: -free shuttle to and from airport, van/bus marked "Crowne Plaza" -comfortable beds -they seem to have included the things you really want and need: comfortable beds, a little care kit with spray to induce relaxation and sleep, foot lotion, "calming" themed lotions/hair products -rooms are spacious CONS: -be careful about where your room is located. Rather than the option of a red-eye back East, we opted to stay over 1 night at the Crowne Plaza and then catch an early flight the next day. This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel and it was everything we needed. Prompt checkin, good sized & immaculate room, friendly service, comfy sleep. The food & drink prices at the cafe beside the lobby are outrageous, but I'm not considering that for the review.

This hotel is within walking distance from the airport although it does offer a shuttle bus. The hotel room was clean and tidy and staff very nice. Only problem is it isn't very close to food (not the hotels fault) and the room service does not extend past 11pm. If you have a late flight in this is worth taking into account. Overall though a great stay!

I knew it was a bad sign when I walked into the room and the hotel leaves ear plugs. While an airport hotel, there was no attempt at sound-proofing. Hence, wide awake at midnight with all the jet activity on the runaway. No gift shop. A couple of restaurants which were ok, basic, tasty food. As a result, exhausted after a noisy night. Wont be coming back.

Great location, comfortable rooms and facilities. Surprisingly good restaurants for an airport hotel. Convenient parking and many shuttle buses. We had great service, we had a small problem that was outside the hotel but Alex who was duty manager on Sunday 25th and Mark on Monday morning took such care to sort it out, make sure we were satisfied and really turn a negative into a positive for us. Well done , great customer care

The hotel is a typical hotel fairly close to the LAX airport. Parking was extra , free internet and limited free use of computer in the lobby to print boarding passes. Not good if you wish to visit LA find a hotel closer to the action.

This is a great facility and lives up to it's reputation in service and amenities. Parking is available but you can also valet if you need to. Check in was a little slow as their computers were down at the time I got there but they worked through it and I got to my room which had soft music playing when I walked in. That was so neat and I was so tired I just layed down and listened for some 20 minutes. The amenities included a sleeping packet and if you have not stayed at a Crown Plaza befor... Read more

We came in from Anaheim so we were closer to the airport for an early flight. Not the best Crowne Plaza, but not the worst. It fit the bill for what we needed. It was close and we knew the brand. It was a step down from what we came from.

If you need to know anything, then ask the concierge. Our concierge, Paulo was the best. He had us in a VIP tour for the day at a great price and had organised a driver to take us to Disneyland on our day of departure. Perfect stay, perfect place - very very accommodating in all we needed.

I booked this property based on reviews and it's location adjacent to LAX. The room seemed to be refurbished as it was nicely appointed and trendy. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've experienced but not horrible. If you're planning to just sleep, it's great. If you're wanting to eat on a budget, do so before you get to the hotel. The restaurant was priced very high ($25 for a cheeseburger!). Self parking is available but be prepared to drive through the garage as most spots were ta... Read more

I booked here as I wanted to be close to the airport and to take full advantage of the free airport shuttle. Our room was large, with bath and a great view of the runway (if that's your sort of thing!) We had dinner in the hotel, which was okay - but the bar itself was well run and created a good atmosphere where we were able to speak to a few other guests.

You can heat aircrafts more then you want, but hotel worth it. You can have a breakfast for $23, but we always choose to go for a bagel to starbucks behind the corner. You save a lots of money and you can grab something sweet and fresh as well. In front of the hotel is a bistro with breakfast offer for $7, but... you deserve more then 2eggs and bacon with toast on plastic plate. Cheap, but rather go around to cafes and grab something better.

After a 10 hour flight arriving at the Crowne Plaza was a welcome site. Courtesy bus was a wait of around 15 minutes but it delivered us to the door of the hotel. Bus was full and I felt sorry for those who had to stand. Check in was smooth, and complimentary wifi greatly appreciated. The king sized bed was amazingly comfortable and our request for a higher floor was honoured. An amazing 12 hour sleep - noise was not an issue whatsoever. Checkout was seamless. All in all a great stay.

I chose this hotel because of the proximity to LAX, though I did not realise how close, between two sets of runways, it was. Aircraft noise is a problem with the aging hotel windows not coping at all. Freely supplied air plugs are a must for a good nights sleep. The up sides are the closeness, a 20 minute walk to the Tom Bradley terminal, extra special service, I was allowed to my room early on both occasions I stayed, the excellent food in the Century Taproom with great beers on tap and frie... Now maybe they have lesser quality rooms for "free" rooms as I had, but my room was very tired, dirty and not kept up. It felt like you were staying in a 20 year old hotel room and I probably was. Parking is expensive as the Holiday Inn Express down the road has free parking BUT if you use the self parking and you are there for 1 night, ensure you don't use the hotel service, as long as u don't need your car out and it's for 24 hours, it's only $15 com... The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The hotel and rooms are nice as expected in a Crowne Plaza. However, the service was very average and should be improved. First, the airport shuttle service was not as frequent as the ones from the other hotels and had to wait around 30 minutes at the airport. Second, the attitude of the in-room dining service staff was not very good. I called the extension number mentioned in the in-room directory, but nobody answered. Then I waited for 20... Read more
