So I stay in Marriotts almost every other week for work. This hotel was typical Courtyard, nice too, clean rooms, etc. But the staff wasn't so least not to me and my husband. I am Gold Elite and wasn't treated as so. I only ask for simply niceness...thats all. So, I will not be returning here.

Pretty much what I had expected -- in a good way. Good size room, comfortable place to sit, blackout curtains, basin is separated from the toilet, and the place is quiet, a tremendous selling point for an airport hotel. Food offerings are limited, so if you want an hotel with a full-service restaurant you should go elsewhere. Airport shuttle runs regularly and is comfortable and efficient. Yes, this Courtyard by Marriott may be a little hard to find. On the other hand, it may be the closest... Read more

Stayed here the night before our departure from LAX. Even though it was close to the airport, I was amazed how quiet it was! Great room! Clean and modern, with plenty of conveniences! The hotel staff were great too! Very accommodating.

Well located for the airport with free shuttles around the clock. Set back from the main street the rooms are quiet. Check-in easy and friendly enough staff. Room was large and had everything I needed + free wifi ( hurrah!). Cleanliness was suspect with furniture stained and tired. Not a big deal as these rooms are used intensively but if you're a stickler then beware. Weak point is there are no extra amenities / services of any quality. 'Restaurant' is right there in the lobby with a tacky bar... Read more

Great hotel if you have an early flight out of LAX or get in to LAX very late. It is relaxing and the lobby is perfect for unwinding especially if you had to fight traffic on the way to the airport. We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed in the room, the quiet sleep, or the welcoming staff. There is a small counter restaurant where you can get light food and a bar and you can eat at your own table with a TV.

We had been warned that this hotel is undergoing renovation and parts of it were poor, but we were given a sparkling new room, from the fresh smell we may well have been the first to use it, large, bright, and despite the fact that it overlooked the airport runway noise-free. The reception/ bar area was pleasant, comfortable and uncrowded. There were a couple of minor problems, probably due to the ongoing refurbishment, but the helpful staff quickly got them sorted. Free wifi. A good reasona... Read more

This Courtyard is like most other Courtyard properties. Rooms a good size, little fridge which is always nice. Clean and dependable. Marriott has 4 properties right near LAX. This one is the closest to the airport and, importantly, has a dedicated shuttle bus. The other hotels do some sort of sharing thing, so you stop and pick up at other Marriott properties. This Courtyard has only Courtyard guests on the shuttle. So the to and from the airport takes less time and thus, the shuttle bus ... Read more

I was traveling back to Atlanta with a layover in Seattle when my flight was canceled. I was re-booked on the first flight out the next morning and this hotel was a life saver. I googled the nearest Marriott property to LAX, hopped on the shuttle and in less than 45 minutes my husband and I were walking into the room. The front desk staff looked up Marriott rewards account and very quickly gave us the government rate ( my husband is a government employee) without my having to ask. We got a new... Read more

Our stay here was short but good! We didn't have much interaction with the staff but the room was quiet and clean. Very close to the airport and they have a free shuttle. The shuttle driver was a little rude but the hotel stay was great. We would definitely recommend this if you need an overnight stay close to the airport

This place is a rip off! 320.00 for one night. They don't honor a military discount. The shuttle takes forever to pick up and drop off. The only good thing was our driver when we were leaving. The rest of the staff seemed more concerned with their social lives. Location is good if you are there for a layover, that's about it. Stay at the Sheraton next door for that kind of money and have access to food. Won't go back.

I stayed here after my flight was cancelled to Australia. Checked in a 2.30am and the staff were very friendly which was nice after a stressful evening. Very close to LAX - I could have walked from United terminal if it was not so late, but they have a shuttle every 20-30 min. Nice rooms and good working space. Sink in bathroom is very small - you have to be a good aim when you brush your teeth. But other than that, good value and close to LAX. Nice caf├ę for breakfast also.

I travel every week so where I sleep really matters. The MOST important factor is having a comfortable bed. While this property is SUPER convenient for flying in and out of LAX, it is beautiful, AND it has great staff, the bed was horrible. I can't wait for all hotels to realize the importance of proving comfortable beds. Until then I will continue to rank and stack properties based on that one factor alone as it is the most important in my book.

A good option at LAX airport -- walking distance to the terminals as well as to buses heading to various districts of LA. Was promised that the bill would be automatically sent to email at checkout but had to chase it with the hotel later -- better insist on the bill on spot if you need ot for expenses.

This is typically the kind of place I would stay when I travel on business. We decided to stay here because it was close to the airport. We had just taken the family on a trip out west and this was our last night. My son thought this is where "rich people stay" after a week of moderate/budget hotels. The room was enormous. Very average. The only valet parking for 37.00 WOW over priced. The room was okay, not enough towels and we arrived late at night and were so tiered didn't want to bother with asking for anything... The front desk was short and seemed bothered by us and like they had no time for any questions. Comfortable bed though.

Quiet considering the location near the airport (3 minute drive!), clean and comfy. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The desk found me a room even with my 3 hours early check in! The nicest thing about the room was housekeeping left classical music playing to welcome me. Lovely touch!

At $199 per night (plus taxes) for a 2 queen-bed room this is a perfect family hotel for the night before a flight. The bistro is more user friendly than in many other Marriotts but unfortunately suffers from the same problem of only being available until 10am and after 5pm. If you arrive at the hotel midday=>afternoon you have to go out or use the small in-hotel 'market' which had limited choices. There is no other restaurant in the hotel. I don't know why so many airport hotels are so bad, but this one avoids the stereotype. It's just a Courtyard Marriott, like hundreds of others across the country, but when it comes to the crazy scene that is LAX hotel, it has several advantages. The shuttle runs often, and was easy to spot. The hotel is only two traffic lights from the terminal, so is a quick hop even when traffic surrounding the airport is a nightmare as it so often is. The hotel location is within walking distance of most rental cars company near the LA airport. The room are comfy, big, and clean. I really like their computer kiosk near the lobby, so you can print your flight tickets. The only downside to this property is they only valet park. You need to used the public parking lot across the street. The rates are cheaper than valet parking at the hotel, between $15 - $16 per entry,

This hotel was nice but needed a face lift in the rooms. They were not too bad but could have been better. The only real negative thing was the shuttle to the airport. It is scheduled to run every 15/20 minutes. The morning I needed it, as did a lot of others, this did not happen. It took 40 minutes. The hotel, much to late, tried to help by ordering some taxis but in the end it was too late and too little.

Very nice room, comfortable bed. Ordered breakfast from the "bistro" in the lobby and it was awful. The menu said "morning scramble" but what i got was plain scrambled eggs, potatoes, toast, and some very disgusting sausage. The ham and cheese croissant my husband ordered was greasy and not very good. For $10-$12 per breakfast, I expected better. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. I have stayed at several different hotels at different price points near LAX and this hotel was a surprisingly nice one. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and they are really big and well designed.
