Vodkas greats about shuttle rides. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Only complaint and that's why only 3 stars, the room smelled like mold. I was told Its allergie season but I had a terrible case of runny nose and watery eyes since I got here.

What a great hotel ! The hotel is not luxury- but the rates during the Grand Prix are crazy- and we could stay there with out selling our first born This place is downtown but they offered shuttle service that made the location not an issue- The people that worked there were wonderful- If your looking for a reasonable hotel in Long Beach- this place should make your list

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Long Beach due to the Toyota Long Beach Grand Prix. Although we rented a car for the time we were there we only used it once at night. The hotel had a shuttle that took us right to the entrance of the Grand Prix races. The drivers were very friendly and helpful. The front desk allowed us to check in early for which we were very grateful for since our flight was early in the morning. The housekeeping staff quickly cleaned a room to allow the front desk to... Nothing special about this hotel. In the downtown area so it's a bit cheaper than the hotels by the water. You can take an Uber to the piers for around 5$. A bit dated furniture and style wise (they love Browns)but still clean. The workers there were very nice and attentive. The only thing that bothered me i was on top floor over the pool and spa area; I heard people smoking and talking outside and Dogs barking from the apartments across the street all night. The spa runs all night btw that must... Read more

Being exhausted from traveling I decided to stay here with my family. Typically I shop for room rates before hand, well my bad, I didn't, later to regret my decision. There were no places to park my pickup other than in the back by the dumpsters. There is an underground parking garage though that fits SMALL cars. I went in and paid this hotel $213...... yes $213 for one night plus a $10 parking fee. They must of seen me coming a mile away because online I later seen that Its far less if you... Read more

We were having a horrible experience at a different hotel and had to end our stay early. Holiday Inn is always a go to for us as we know and expect it to be great. And it was just that - great. The staff was very friendly and there was a shuttle that would take you anywhere on the strip and back (within certain times of course) but it was definitely helpful. The room was very clean and I felt very comfortable here.

We give credit card details to the hotel for security purposes But I have found that they are misusing the same. We had a prepaid stay and still this hotel charged us USD 443 twice . They did refund once and the second charge is yet to be refunded They keep making false promises But do not refund. Be careful guys

We were here one year ago and the stay was great. Temo made sure everything was outstanding during our stay. It was refreshing to see one year later the outstanding service by this gentleman remained. It if wasn't for the service we received we probably would of considered staying somewhere else because the area is not the best, I would also like to acknowledge Leah, she is very kind, courteous, and sweet person to talk to. She set us up outside and didn't forget about us. She was definitely on t... Read more

Stayed here for a quick overnight while visiting the Queen Mary. Great business set up, wonderful staff, lobby based lounge that was hopping and easy parking. Downsides are small rooms, no real opportunities around the hotel, not the easiest to find.

The hotel is ok, but I think it could use a little updating. The room is very basic, bathroom is small, the restaurant served food that tasted and looked very generic. I ordered their specialty which was ribs and it was ok, the Apple dessert was a crumb cake that they serve at breakfast like a muffin, yet with vanilla ice cream it's a dessert for $7. The food wasn't too expensive, parking is available for $10. They charge $100 deposit which you get back on your debit or credit card. The evening ... Read more

We stayed here for the park and cruise deal and everyone was so nice and friendly. The rate included a free breakfast for 2, which we split with 4, and it was great. The room was clean and we got upgraded as Priority Club members. When the ship would not allow us to bring our $30 worth of juices onto the ship, the girls in the shuttle came back to the ship and picked it up and brought it back to the hotel for us and stored it till we got back. There was a gymnastic convention in town and the... Read more

Smaller room, no USB chargers like most places, wifi dodgy, would stay here again if need be but it was all that was available in the area. One elevator being out made it ridiculously slow to get up/down from the room.

We came to use it for the park and cruise amenities - park your car and have the free shuttle you over to the port. Their underground parking should keep your car safer and out of the Los Angeles heat. The rooms are large enough for a family of 4. The rate we paid came with 2 free breakfast. Highlight for us was the breakfast food ! Not your regular muffin Costco run but HOT cooked food - we had the breakfasts burrito ! Yum just right ! All guest services were so helpful and friendly- will come ... Read more

I will give the staff an A+ but that is where the praise ends. Not a good part of town the hotel is next to medical center that, it appeared, it only frequented by the homeless. Elevator (singular - one was out of order) was circa 1970 as was the air conditioner in my room and bathroom fixtures. I stay in 50+ hotels a year and this is by far the most outdated property I have seen in years.

The good thing about this hotel is that they provide a free shuttle to the cruise port, which is why I've used it twice while taking cruises out of Long Beach. Another positive is that the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. After their remodel between my first and second visits, it was good to see the addition of a "market" in the lobby so that you could buy snacks or drinks for your room. This was important because there's nowhere close enough within walking distance to walk to for di... Read more

The Holiday Inn was booked o Expedia Mystery. The lobby is modern and friendly - it provides a cafe for a delicious breakfast. Room - large but outdated. We found cleaning supplies left behind. During our stay, the fire alarms went on/off but no explanation was given. There was free internet but parking was $10/day. Location - had to drive about 10 minutes to get to the beach and nearby restaurants. I would recommend this stay although parking does get expensive.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with good amenities- microwave, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, iron and board, hair dryer. Just about anything you could need! The only slight negative was the faucet in the tub. A bit of a puzzle as to how to turn it on, but then I discovered it just needed brute force. Lol! Pull straight out though. Not up! Underground parking was great too.

Me and my girlfriend live on Catalina Island we came to Long Beach for the weekend booked this hotel they charged us $100 for a deposit when I looked at my bank account they charged me an extra $150 for smoking fee when me nor my girlfriend smoke!! Worst experience ever with dirty outdated rooms will not be going back or recommending this place to anybody!!

The staff is as friendly as you'll find, the place was clean and good location. i'll i heard all night was car alarms and sirens going off. Got very little sleep, probably the noisiest hotel iv'e ever stayed inn. I come to LA area on a regular basis as we have an office here. I surely will not be staying here again!

The hotel staff were pleasant, the room clean and the facilities were fine. It's not in a great location if you want to walk to downtown, especially at night. We felt it was value for money with the exception of the parking charge.

This hotel was convenient for an overnight stay prior to a cruise and had a free shuttle to the port. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Dining wasn't what we expected....as you had to order and pay at the counter. We were actually impressed with the quality of the food though!

We stayed for 4 nights at the Holiday Inn and were extremely happy with our stay. The staff was extremely accommodating. The free shuttle is fabulous. We used it everyday. They were fast picking up and dropping off. The front desk staff were fabulous. Our room was comfortable and clean. The coffee shop was good. Prices were very reasonable. Grocery store across the road for incidentals. Good location. The staff are eager to please and very accommodating. Enjoyed our staff a great deal.

This is not *the* L.A. holiday hotel as it is in Long Beach and relatively far away from all the LA attractions. However, if you need to be in Long Beach for any reason, I can recommend it as it offers a very good value for money ratio, all amenities needed like internet, a small shop downstairs in case you need a snack, a cafe for breakfast and some food, etc. Rooms are spacious and relatively "new". Carpet could be cleaner. Staff was friendly, specially the ones in the cafe.

The staff at this location is great! If you're lucky enough to get Bessy as your bartender, you get service with a big smile. The food was excellent! Which is good because there aren't a lot of food options in walking distance. My room was nice. The hotel shuttle picked me up at the airport and took me to the convention center everyday. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family. The surrounding area was a little sketchy and the pool wasn't too inviting.

The holiday inn long Beach is far to be a new hotel, but the rooms are clean, large and the personnel is extremely kind. The area is surely not the best in town, but if you have a car it is ok. They offer a breakfast 'a la carte' which is average. A last comment: take with you earplugs. It can be noisy. I anyway enjoyed my 5 nights stay. M.
