Found the place tired and dated , with dirty carpeting. Booked and stayed in a suite - the sofa bed was very very uncomfortable. The bedroom had a wash basin! Not kidding. The bathroom was tiny. The sheets were clean but the carpeting was dirty. The service was ok.

Rooms are very worn and shabby. Housekeeping didn't replace used glasses and left used washcloths in the tub. The shower temperature fluctuated from hot to cold during the shower. Previous stay, the air conditioning didn't work.

The Lompac Embassy Suites is probably the best option around the area for business travel. The breakfast is cooked to order and very good. There are drinks and light meals at dinner, though I have never partaken in them. The rooms are large, with a fold-out couch for additional sleeping space, and a separate living room from the bedroom. There is a decent to good gym in one of the corners of the hotel. The downsides of this hotel are a spotty, slow internet connection, and rooms that need a fac... Read more

As loyal Hilton customer, I have stayed here several times over the last few years. For an Embassy Suites, the rooms are very, very small and in need of a refresh. The rooms are now in the process of being redone. It was not clear exactly what the refresh will include, but any update would be good. The common area used for the manager's reception and breakfast is like the rooms, very, very small in and in need of an major update. The staff here has always been wonderful. It's a shame that ... The renovations are complete. The hotel is old, but their upkeep of the place is very good. The only problem I encountered was that the room I was assigned was right opposite the elevator (good if you need that) and our bedroom window overlooked the entry parking area.... No view of anything and they have beautiful gardens around the pool. Be sure to check and ask for a room with a decent view. Once again, Sonny, the bartender and the breakfast cook was amazing. Really nice welcome, complimentary snacks and drinks that were very welcome after a long day driving. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable (great mattress). Nice Italian Restaurant nearby (forgot the name, ask at reception). Breakfast cooked as you need it, definitely one of the best on our road trip. Good value for money.

Have stayed here numerous times over the years. Their major selling point is suites (two rooms - nice if you have kids), a pool and spa, and a nice breakfast. I almost didn't choose it for my latest trip because during my last couple of visits it seemed like a lot of things were broken or falling apart. This visit was satisfactory and they are in the middle of a major renovation which should restore the quality of the place.

We were not informed property was being renovated when we made our reservation. Parking lot was full of construction equipment and all the jack hammering was irritating. We were put in the back of the hotel, where all the construction was going on. We were on the third floor and many of the stairways were closed off. This seemed dangerous. There were very loud frogs screeching in the pond right outside our room. The room was clean, but the bathroom was very small. The breakfast was very nice.

Newly remodeled hotels are a good thing and a remodel of this property is long overdue. However, staying at a property under construction is not an enjoyable experience. That was the case with my latest visit. The hotel is under an extensive remodel. It is dusty, dirty, and noisy (though they do keep construction to reasonable time during he day). Parking is difficult since there are dumpsters, room fixtures and contact or vehicles using up most of the parking spaces. My room was on the gr... Read more

Nice clean room, good pool but the staff could be more friendly and responsive. We waited in the pool area over an hour for check-in, as we were told no rooms were available until 3. Although I had inquired about room upgrades when we first walked in and were told there were some available, they were gone by 2:30 (friends who arrived after us were able to check-in. No one came out to tell us that rooms were available). That was my only issue, but it was a big issue for me.

Their first room was brand new, but the vent and A/C didn't work. Their second room was old, but the TV only carried 2 channels. A little disappointed they were having construction, would have been nice to know when my room was booked but overall a nice stay. Not having a elevator near the room caused a little disruption but all was well.

We need an overnight hotel to stay at for a wine dinner in Buelton and chose the Embassy Suites in Lompoc-just a 15 drive from our destination. The Embassy Suites here is pretty typical of most ES. We had a 1 BR suite and it was as expected-clean and roomy. Our only complaint was the bathroom is extremely small- much smaller that I remember at other ES. Free wifi, free breakfast, good value.

We got in late, and the property was undergoing some minor renovations and the nice gentlemen help us carry the luggage to our room. Had a wonderful stay at this Embassy Suites. Was happy upon arrival could check in early. The room was clean and decent size. Staff was friendly we needed to order more towels they came up right away. The morning breakfast was the best chef did an outstanding job cooking omelets and French toast. Nice location in Lompoc would definitely come back again to stay.
