My previous stay at this hotel, I could use a refrigerator in my room and an ice server in corridor. This time both of them had gone. I suppose some or many of your guest would feel what I had. I would be appreciated if I can find these support when I visit next time.

The Double Tree in Livermore is a solid hotel with quick access to wherever you need to go from Livermore to Pleasanton to Dublin. Quiet rooms with decent beds definitely help, and the breakfast buffet consisted of quality ingredients and the eggs were real! If you are in the area, you'll find other hotels for less money that are not at any real level of quality. You'll find equal or higher-quality places, but for considerably more money.

As always, The DoubleTree Hotel has made an extended trip comfortable. The staff always greeted me with a smile and offered me a cookie at the end of every evening. The hotel has easy access to 580 and close proximity to plenty of restaurants and other amenities. There's actually a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant just around the corner (walking distance).

This is the first time I've written a negative review, please keep reading. This property was closed for nearly a year for renovations. I was looking forward to staying here again, but found that nothing had been updated. When I checked into my room the odor was foul like pipe glue and the bathroom had a hole in the wall where the paper had sloughed off. The sheet rock was so soggy that you could push you finger through it. On top of this the hotel staff handled the whole situation very poorly... Read more

1. The key for the entry door to the room does not work and had to go back to the lobby twice, each time I leave the room. No doubt, the key system is very outdated, compare to the other Double Tree Hotels and Hilton Brand properties. 2. The plastic bag for the ice bucket in the room is not the right size bag. 3 to 4 gallons trash bag was put in the ice bucket to use. I went down to the lobby to get the right bag, I was told that this is the bag that the guests asked for to get more ice. I star... Read more

This hotel was not worth even the low price we paid for it. It is very dated and is not up to Doubletree standards. The rooms are dark and dingy, the walls are thin, and the beds are sagging. Our A/C kept turning off overnight even though we set it to a low temperature, which left us miserably warm all night. The lobby of the hotel is well updated, but the rest left a lot to be desired -- it's currently under construction, so maybe it will be better when they are done (but it needs a lot of wo... Stayed here for 6 days last week as I was in town for a graduation. The property was near the freeway, kind of hidden. My room was cleaned daily by a very nice lady named Marcella. The beds were very comfy, bathroom was clean and modern but the renovations done were shoddy (wallpaper peeling, tile floor warped). The ice machine on the 1st floor stayed broken my entire stay. We lived there when this building was a former Holiday Inn in late 60's. Still has the same worn out elevators, antique luggage racks, empty and cold atmosphere in lobby. HILTON needs to change buildings!! The new restaurant struggles with one wait staff. Room Amenities were missing that should have been there, refrigerator and microwave. Lack of good telephone service. "Cold" hallways of bright white glaring wallpaper. Unmatched carpet in halls.

My stay at the Livermore Doubletree was substandard. The restaurant is terrible and the internet--even as a Hilton Honors member--was maddening slow. I ordered breakfast (to avoid the buffet) but only my eggs were hot. The bacon and potatoes seemed like they'd been sitting in the kitchen, waiting to go out to the restaurant to refill the buffet line. Older hotel but well maintained on the surface but they have major plumbing issues. Staff was friendly, hotel was very clean, and breakfast was of good quality. Was this a Double Tree or a Motel 6? Not sure after my stay here. Been a longtime Hilton HHonors member and not impressed with this property. Location was great, easy to find. Beware of the $50 deposit (even w/credit card) at check in. If you need a microwave/fridge in your room, don't stay here, it is not provided. Bathrooms are smaller than tiny. No vanity space. Bathtub, toilet, vanity & sink all in a small space. Not functional. Rooms are cramped on the first floor. Although I did enjoy the sliding door to the parking lot. Overall, not the usual Double Tree accommodations I am accustomed to.

Location is convenient enough. The property has issues though. Dated and run down. The best evidence of infrastructure decay ... Was counting on using the in house coin op laundry during the stay. Not so much. It was "out of order" during a 6 day stay. We were forced to use in town laundromats, which where great, but highly inconvenient.
