Came for a one night getaway and were very pleased! The wine hour, the cookies and milk, the breakfast, all were unbelievable. I would recommend this place to anyone. The area is beautiful, the staff is nice, the jacuzzi/fire pit are open til 11, I can go on and on. Just wonderful. Oh, and the mini bar! Cmon! So good!

My daughter and I were booked here for two nights, but had to cancel the second night. We got in at night and had to check out the next morning, so we didn't get a chance to stay long. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable as well. The man checking us in was very nice and professional. He even let us borrow his umbrella when we went out in the rain for a drink. We had a quiet night's sleep, and enjoyed the yogurt, granola and coffee in the morning before checking... Read more

My partner & I came here for just a few nights for a small vacation. Because of the price & amenities, it was our first choice. We expected it not to be extremely high quality, like a resort hotel, but it ended up being so much more than we expected! It was spotless, had plenty of space for two people, the fridge was enough to hold extra drinks and small food items, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was perfectly welcoming and helpful with our questions, and we had absolutely no issues. Th... Read more

Me and my girl spent 3 days at LBH. 4 star rating is no knock on the property versus 5 star. I'd say top rating I'd give a small motel. Check in was friendly and efficient. Rooms had a beach vibe. Recently reno'd, clean and bright. Website is a good representation of what you will get. Rooms nice and comfortable. Pool is not huge, but plenty big for a nice cool down dip. Pool area nice scale to size at this small motel. The level of insight staff had about the area was mixed. Some offe... Read more

This is such a cool hotel. The rooms are fantastic, plenty of space and lots of storage so you can unpack properly. Shuttered windows, big beds, quiet and relaxing and a short walk to the centre of town and main beach. they don't charge you to park! Staff are really friendly and very helpful. Great value. Would love to stay again.

This was a well-equipped boutique hotel one block away from the beach and very close to lots of good shopping and restaurants. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, especially Peter who was always chipper and enthusiastic and happy to help. Everything was very clean and our room was surprisingly well-sized for this smallish hotel. Although it is not waterfront, the beach is really close and the views are breathtaking. Where to begin? Annette, Katie, Rachel, Jason, Peter, and the WHOLE GANG go above and beyond on even the most minute inquiry. Dennis is a walking history book of Laguna! It was as fun visiting the lobby as it was the beach, the pool, or the fab fire pit! The room was super cool, but I was rarely in it! There is so much to do (all relaxing and restorative) that the room was simply a place to clean up and sleep. Don't miss this gem! the owner does and OUTSTANDING JOB picking out the music (that is... The hotel was wonderful, small, chic and welcoming. Upon check in I was offered cookies and milk to be enjoyed by the fire which was a great perk after a long flight from NYC. The property reminded me a lot of the Surf Lodge in Montauk which was wonderful. The rooms were very spacious, I had a great balcony to overlook the Ocean and Pool views. We arrived June 28 and are staying until July 3. The staff, is incredible and could not be more helpful, always asking if there is anything they can do and if there is anything you need. The rooms are clean, great beds, decorated really nicely and the grounds and pool are so clean. They have completely refurbished this hotel, it is also owned by the Inn at Laguna Beach, which I have also stayed and is fantastic, as well. Our family of four loved staying here for a week. It's within walking distance to the beach and to shops and eateries in downtown Laguna. Mostly, it's the clean and recently updated rooms, plus the small touches like free coffee and yogurt in the morning and free wine, as well as milk and chocolate chip cookies in the evening, that make Laguna Beach House special! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We could not have been more impressed with the attention to detail, customer service, and helpful demeanor of the entire staff. My husband and I just returned from Laguna Beach for a short getaway for our anniversary. I could not be happier with his hotel choice! From the moment we arrived, every staff member was so helpful and genuinely nice. LBH is perfect - situated a short walking distance from the main downtown area of Laguna Beach (including great restaurants and shopping) as well as beautiful beaches. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty, very clean and spacious! With the open design of the hotel it can be a bit loud during the day but always quiet at nighttime. Great room. Great location. Staff was very friendly. I loved the surf books laying around the lobby & the room. Considering the price, everything came as advertised. Only problem was that the pool, the fire pit & the hot tub were infested with children staring at their smartphones from the time we checked in to when they "closed." On a weeknight. Can't fault the hotel for that, but I'll try again when school is back in.

We were looking for a place to stay near the beach. Laguna Beach House hit the mark! You are closest to Heisler Beach which is a wonderful, less crowded beach. You are also just up the hill from Main Beach in Laguna. Main Beach is in the heart of town, more crowded, and more action. We were so pleased to "borrow" towels, umbrellas, and chairs from the hotel. There are only a certain amount so ask early! We could easily carry these items on the short walk to the beach. I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights at this lovely hotel and had a wonderful time! My goal was to have a relaxing long weekend. This goal was achieved by having a nice, clean room with a small balcony looking out at the ocean. But this hotel was further away from the surf and allowed me to sleep well. I enjoyed the morning granola, the wine and... Read more
