This hotel is two stories with no elevator so be sure to reserve a first floor inside room unless you are patient to have the staff carry your bags upstairs. The room is large enough with a walk in shower and separate large bath. Only the toilet is in a separate room, so the sinks are out in the open .Room and premises are clean, modern and comfortable. There is a resort fee of $25 that they do not tell you about on their room advertisement and this always bugs me, I do not like hidden fees.

We are in a superior room with a view of the lake and the mountain. The room is large and very clean. The bed is nice and soft. The hotel has a restaurant on the lake. It was about 60 degrees out but they have heaters and fireplaces around the space. Great view of the lake. A little expensive.

How special to find such a beautiful Chateau on a lake. This is a boutique hotel with fabulous views of a lake in a upscale residential area. The building looks like it came straight out of the French Riviera. Everything is top quality with lovely, beautiful decor. The bistro with a lakefront patio and an outdoor wood-burning pizza oven overlooks the lake and there are plenty of firepits and heating lamps to allow Al Fresco dining all year. A lot of the homes have their own boats and it is ... Read more

What a breath of fresh air for The Palm Springs area. Situated on a quiet man made lake, it was beautiful and peaceful. Our room was outstanding with French doors leading to a private patio, since the side walls were hedges, and a beautiful view of the lake. The outdoor Chairs were so comfortable too. Would definitely stay here again! And, the restaurant is fabulous!

We stayed in The Chateau for 2 days while travelling through California. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. We had a balcony that looked out on to the lake and it was lovely to sit out in the dessert sun watching the turtles and fish in the lake. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to eat in the restaurant but it looked very nice. The hotel was in short distance to amenities such as restaurants and grocery stores. We also drove to Palm Springs and Joshua ... Read more

We made the reservation months ahead and were waiting for a relaxing visit. They had cancelled our reservation for an obviously well paying wedding and we were literally thrown out at check-in to Indian Wells Resort Hotel, that is in an another category. Except for the service, which was terrible at 'The Chateau'. We felt cheated and very disappointed. They do not care for tourists and behave in a terrible way. Even our given driving instruction were incorrect. And they lied about not having my ... Read more

Great place! My only issue would be there were no chairs in the room. Just a small little table that was kind of useless. We brought the patio chairs in from outside. Other than that great place, nice room and wonderful staff and service

We just stayed 4 nights at this small boutique hotel and enjoyed it quite a bit. When I was looking for a place to stay in the Palm Springs area I debated between a large, moderate and small sized hotel. This hotel has about 25 rooms and it was perfect. It was beautiful and had a lovely restaurant and bar overlooking the lake. The food and drinks were very good and Jasmine was a delight to talk to in the mornings We were upgraded to the bungalow which was beautifully decorated and had a fire... Read more

8 of us stayed for the desert trip festival. We were jet lagged and needy for the 3 nights. The staff were amazing. This was our best experience in the US throughout our 9 day trip across the US. Food was fantastic .. Service was top class also and I wish we could package that and bring it back up other parts of the world.

This is the place if you want to relax and rest. No hustle and hassle of the strip. You can sleep late and have breakfast in bed ! Play some golf on a championship course, and then have a snack on a restaurant over looking the lake awesome Dinner is great...... enjoy !!!
