This was my wife and I first time in California. We made this trip for our anniversary. We chose this hotel based on the great reviews and were not disappointed in the least bit. The room was very spacious and uniquely designed. My wife and I were both blown away by the size of the shower. And to top it all off, our room had a washer/dryer that allowed us to do our own laundry. All of the staff that we encountered were very courteous and always willing to help us with anything needed. Myself and a group of friends went to visit The Redbury's awesome lounge/bar, and were blown away by the generous, helpful staff. We had bottle service, and were treated with the utmost respect. Not only that, but all of the guests were so open and friendly to conversation. Most places my friend Max and I go to of this caliber, the crowd is uptight and in their circle (especially in LA). Not the case here. This has become one of our favorites.

Booked The Redbury based on its location and Tripadvisor reviews for a 3-day, 2-night stay in LA/Hollywood prior to catching a cruise ship. Great move. Our room was unexpectedly large and appointed with every convenience, including a turntable and a selection of 33 1/3 rpm vinyl records! Loved the decor in the elevator lobbies as much as in our room. Our room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. And I was right about the location - even though I rented a car, it is walking distance fr... Read more

Located on Hollywood and Vine, the Redbury is the perfect place to set the mood for a few days of Hollywood sight-seeing. I stayed in the smallest version of the hotel's nostalgically decorated suites - but what a suite! A big well-equipped kitchen area and dining bar; beautiful living room space, an entertainment center featuring a new large-screen TV and vinyl LP player, a selection of vintage albums included. The bedroom was equally plush; the bed super comfortable. The bathroom was clean a... Read more

I guess I am harder on the places that seem like they will deliver and just....don't. I prefer funky and quaint any day, which this is trying to be. But its TOO weird, the decor doesn't work. The pieces are a mash up of Victorian and country and 80s and grandma and hipster and it was too visually jangly for me. I am an interior designer and this place did not create a vibe that I wanted to be in. I loved the idea of record players in the rooms- the weird stripper pole on the bar of the kitchen w... For the price we paid, the room was HUGE! And it had a balcony so my smoking husband loved it. Decoration was beautiful. My daughter didn't want to leave. The music was a bit loud at night, but we're in vacation mood and it was long weekend, so it didn't bother us. Front desk was awesome. Loved the trip!

I really liked staying at the Redbury Hollywood. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I have allergies to cleaning products so when I travel, I always worry if the smell of hotel rooms will bother me..the room didn't have a chemical smell at all! No carpeting..the cork board flooring was great! The bed and pillows were very comfy and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The food at the hotel was healthy and delicious! The Redbury is in a perfect location in Hollywood--almost at the corner of Hollywood and Vine. It is a 2 minute walk to the Pantages Theater, thus makes a good hotel for theater goers who do not want to drive home after the theater. Our family stayed here for 2 nights & enjoyed the location, decor, service and amenities in that order. Walking distance to Hollywood hotspots, luxury decor, huge walk in shower, functional kitchenette, incredible staff who anticipated our every need. Only downfall was the loud music from the terrace outside our balcony playing late through the evening which kept us up. Also disappointed there was not a laundry facility on site. Overnight parking $40/night was pretty steep.

We stayed at the Redbury after going to the Pantages for a performance. Brian and Matt were working the check in desk when we arrived in the early afternoon. The decoration of the bedrooms is nice, they have a kitchenette, a record player, nice shower and super comfortable bed. Loved the terrace looking to the outdoor bar. If you decide not to have cleaning everyday, you get a 10% discount! There is a bar downstairs and it can get a bit noisy at night, but not for many hours. I had a great stay.

It's just like having your own pad in Hollywood. It has a kitchen and laundry in the rooms. Also the Most comfortable beds. This is a fantastic hotel, make no bones about it. I booked on the strength of other trip advisor reviews, and I am so glad I did. If you plan to visit LA, I would strongly recommend the Hollywood area over downtown LA, which is nowhere near as nice. We were also close to Universal Studios & Warner Bros here, which appealed. There is a Metro stop (Hollywood/Vine) 2 minutes walk from the hotel which can link you to the whole LA area. Upon arrival we were greeted by Brian, who kindly offered us a... Read more

I booked a very last minute stay at the Redbury as part of a work trip. I had already stayed a couple days in a (boring, major chain) hotel and wanted a change. Plus, my work was hosting a special event at their bar, so it made sense to finish my night off there. I was impressed with the affordability of the room, given the plethora of in-room amenities and creative boutique decor. The only issue with my room was that my record player didn't work :( The breakfast in the hotel was great, the ou... Read more

I stayed at this hotel with my friend for 6 whilst visiting LA. I chose this hotel based on a recommendation from my partner who stays there when he visits LA on business. It's well located and easy to find. We used the flyaway to get from LAX to the hotel which cost $8 (£6) which stopped just around the corner from the hotel - so only a short 5 minute walk. The hotel looks great. I've not stayed in a hotel with decor like it before. The beds are super comfortable and you have access to all the... Read more

A boutique hotel just off of Hollywood Blvd, The Redbury Hollywood was a beautiful place to stay. My jaw hit the floor when we got into the room. We had a Vine Suite, which faces Vine Street. It has a balcony with a view of the Hollywood sign and the Capitol Records building. This is not just a hotel room - it's a suite. It has a kitchen area with facilities (stove, microwave, etc), couch and seats with a big TV and a wide channel range, and a record player with a selection of classic records.... Read more

What an amazing hotel The Redbury is!! The decor makes you feel like you have gone back in time to the Hollywood days of Maryln Monroe!! Loved the record player in our rooms!! The staff is excellent!! Always there to help with any questions we had and even recommend great local restaurants. Loved the courtyard with the nice fire pits!! Great place to relax at the end of the day! Looking forward to going back very soon!

This hotel was simply one of the best hotel I have visited and I travel a lot... Room suite was awesome with the kitchen and bar set up. Living room and Bedroom was well separated by TV and record vinyl player :) bathroom was good too. Only the breakfast area could be improved a little bit. Perfect hotel, can't wait to stay there again!

We were very satisfied with the hotel who tried hard to ensure we had everything we needed. Recommended local restaurants with no pressure to use hotel and went over map with us to show best walking routes we could do (Thank you receptionist 'Andy'). Parking was $40 but worth the convenience and again they were very helpful with the luggage unloading/loading. Would certainly stay again, and thanks to everyone working there!

Amazing property, one of my favorites ever! Has the same hip vibe as The Ironhorse in Milwaukee. The restaurant and food are both impeccable and the service--simply World Class. Pegged the scale on cool Redbury! If you want quiet and flavorless, do not bother. If you want hip, amazing and spicy, this is your spot.

We are used to the Hilton type of room. This Hotel was VERY different. It felt like an old theatre that had been converted to a hotel without much change to the décor. Quaint, dark and moody. If the vinyl record selection isn't to your taste, ask reception who have a library of records. The room had a 2 ring burner, fridge, breakfast bar, and coffee making too. My only minor complaint was that there were no cooking pots or pans, or preparation tools for cooking. That said it took less than 5 mi... Read more

I'd give it a five star, except for the noise from roudy guests and the Library Bar which seemed to be open forever. The room was lovely with chic decor, but could use some brighter lighting options and at least one pan to cook with. Yes, I'd book here again if I needed to be in Hollywood but would specify a higher up room away from the bar.
