My Daughter and I stayed here to take in a performance at the Hollywood Bowl. The location was perfect for our purposes! The front desk Staff could not have been more friendly, helpful, and efficient! We needed some special assistance with a car problem, and they were so willing to goa above and beyond for us. The front patio was perfect for people watching, and relaxing after the show. The decor of the room was modern, and attractive without being cluttered. Everything was spotlessly clea... Read more

I really liked this hotel. We booked because of walk ability to Hollywood Blvd knowing the reviews were questionable. I couldn't have been happier. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even printed and scanned some documents for us. The room was newly remodeled and very nice. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. We would definitely stay here again.

A friend and I recently stayed at this trendy boutique-style hotel. While being just a few blocks from the main attractions (walking distance), it also was clean, quiet and a fair value. Upon check-in we automatically received a complimentary room upgrade to a newly renovated room. The room was spacious, clean and fairly quiet but some little details of the renovation were lacking; like some missing crown molding, old air conditioning/heating units and a damaged mirror frame. The hotel charg... Read more

Perhaps the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever slept on, like an overfilled sack of rags. Feels very very budget, more like a hostel than a hotel. We had literally no wifi connection for 2 1/2 days and as an international visitor with no 3G, that was exceptionally inconvenient. No breakfast, no real amenities. In the most hectic and unrelaxed part of town.

We stayed at this hotel because it was a great location for an event we were attending in Hollywood. It is very convenient to a lot of Hollywood restaurants and events. However, they put us in a room right next door to a room that was being renovated. We didn't complain because the LOUD noise only took place during the day, but they did start working early in the morning (even on Sunday). Fortunately, we are morning people and didn't care to "sleep in" because we wouldn't have been able to. ... Read more

Everything went smoothly. Customer service was great, and them being under construction didn't bother me. I can't figure out how to work the tv or turn off the menu ipad, i just had to put it down on the desk. Beds are comfortable and cleaning service was great. I wish they didn't lock the showers at a certain temperature, it was a bit cool.

Thank goodness we were only here for one night. My husband and I stayed here with our two children. I was looking for a decent hotel near Universal Studios. We were horrified when we walked in. My daughter was actually scared. I could not believe how expensive this place was. It was more like a motel than a hotel. Not at all how the pictures look. "Archive Lounge"? More like a waiting area in at a car wash. Very run down and dirty. Our room smelled like cigarettes. We had a suite but the divider... Read more

This was my first stay in hollywood and it was really hard finding a nice hotel cheap. I chose blvd and I think my stay was pretty good. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and the room was clean. There was significant remodeling going on during the day and the hallways were dirty but the stay for me was still pleasant. A clean room and a great staff made the stay great.

The rooms had no hot water. One room wasn't completed and had no shower door. Internet was horrible. Pool was the size of a small kitchen. I think when renovations are completed it will be nice. Small bar on site with "happy hour" and signature drinks, but they didn't have the items to make any of their signature drinks.

We ended up here by default. It seems like everywhere else we tried, there was some sort of water main break. Had I another option, I would have taken it. This facility is in the process of remodeling, so there is a clear "before and after" feel about it. The hallways to the rooms and old and in need of repair, but the rooms themselves were beautiful. (We were asked to change rooms because we had different reservation numbers for each night. Ridiculous!!!) HINIT: There are less than twenty parki... Read more

Location fabulous. Property is being renovated and is very comfortable. Staff is so nice. I requested a room at the back of the building away from elevator and street noise and got it. Bed was super comfy.

Perfect location for theater goers. Walking distance to the bowl and a quick Uber to the Greek. Hotel is clean, modern and well stocked. Refrigerator and Microwaves in room. Not really a kid location.

This simple, yet modern hotel was a good fit for our family. It was currently going through some renovations but other than the obvious upgrades to the decor, there was no noise or disruption in our stay. The Good: Quick check in, room was ready on time, ample parking, clean and spacious rooms. Great location next to shopping, restaurants, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theater, and just a quick hop on the freeway over to Universal Studios. I also loved that they had a little refrigerator ... Read more

The beds were comfortable and the room clean. Everyone was very nice and helpful as it was my first time in LA. We liked the complementary wine at dinner time. Once we did not get a towel replacement since we were told that they were still being washed. We did get them later though. Our toilet got stopped up once, but they fixed that too. I would definitely stay here again. We also like the Sun Cafe next door and would highly recommend it to others staying at the hotel. It was nice to be able to... Read more

Nice hotel, l close to Universal Studios, and very helpful and friendly staff. Parking is a little pricey when the cost of the room is over $200 a night, but they did have a shuttle to Universal. Also, If you are looking for a good breakfast be sure to visit the Good Neighbor Restaurant down the street.

Staff was all very helpful and tried to help us with our problems. TV remote did not work and they tried to replace it. Bartenderess was very helpful with ideas for visiting Universal Studio. The water main had broken up the street so we did not have any water (which was not the hotels fault) which made the morning very uncomfortable.

This is my second visit to this property. It's a very nice hotel. The twin rooms are a really good size. The decor is modern but classic. Internet is a bit hit and miss but on the whole ok. The bathrooms are probably the least favourable part of the rooms, as they are very small. It's not a problem but don't expect a huge bathroom. The Hollywood area seems to be more dirtier and seedier every time I go there, but it's a good location for tours etc, the hotel is a little walk to the walk of fame... Read more

Hotel was quaint and boutique like, large spacious room clean and modern good location could walk to Hollywood boulevard or Hollywood bowl and many other spots of interest. Very nice front desk staff. Wifi was weak however and couldn't resolve. Pool is tiny if that's of interest. Loved the hairdryer lol very powerful. Tiny bathroom which didn't have ac so it was hot trying to shower. Good place to stay for a couple or family with older kids.
