"November 7th: I called to see if I can get early check on on November 8th I was told that they do not offer early check in and the earliest they can let me in the room is 2PM. I was also on hold over 10 minutes just to verify my reservation. Weirdly, when I checked in around 12:30 they gave me a room right away.

November 8th-12th: I found the following things broken or wrong with the room:

Bed squeaks uncontrollably I can't even turn it in without hearing a squeak.
It was a HUGE problem to get 6 extra hangers I had to wait 2 hrs for them to bring them over and then they only brought me 4 housekeeping said the hotel is out of hangers.
Toilet doesn't flush, if you told the handle and do it 4-5x it finally flushes
The floor 'looked' clean to me but it was hard wood floors I went to look at my feet and they were literally back, I think the floors weren't cleaned AT ALL around the patio door.
I have no idea who to blame for this but there was no cell reception, I use verizon and never had this problem EVER!
Most of the towels had black mascara on them or something black
The blower in the bathroom doesn't work after I would shower the steam would be on the glass very long.
When I made coffee in the room it kept steaming after the coffee was done and burned the plastic over that holds the coffee almost causing a fire.
The phone doesn't work. The button inside the phone is stuck.
I think the A/C was actually heat when I turned it on it make the room hotter I had it at 60 degrees. The low and high blower blows the same amount of heat.


November 11th at 10:13AM. This was the most disturbing part of my stay I notice that after my first day there they would NEVER give m any bar soap. So, I went to the front desk and they said just go in the cart and get some, So, I did and a man physically took the soap out of my hands and said the hotel is out of soap you can't take extra. When I complained to the front desk he passed me and said 'says you.'

"This place was nothing like it was advertised. The pictures are deceiving! The neighborhood is horrible. Not a nice thing to see after driving 9 hours from San Francisco. Come to find out, Hollywood is actually just as trashy as this neighborhood. The only nice areas are Beverly Hills (and who really wants to go there anyway?) and Universal Studios. Other than that, there is no reason to come back period. The comedy nights were horrific. How can you even let these idiots come back every night? Also, paying to park at a hotel we booked months in advance is totally uncalled for. We paid you upfront. 'But you get free WiFi and free breakfast....' Yeah, so what?! You should be able to eat and use the internet for free, as well as park! The balconies were all connected, and the locks on the sliding doors didn't seem very secure. No wonder we read about theft in these rooms! Also, we found small cockroach type bugs all over the place. They were even in the alarm clocks! You can also tell they had bedbugs at one point in time because the mattresses were all covered in plastic coverings, etc. The only positive about this place was the basement lounge area with the free breakfast. It was actually really well done for FREE. No wonder they charge you for parking. They have to make up for the FREE breakfast and WiFi right? Also, probably one of the cheaper places to stay unless you want to go to a motel? Any takers? No, well try your luck."

"I think it is ridiclious that you have to pay to park at a hotel that you have booked a room at, I could see charging others that have not. Our room was dirty, smelled funny some sort of chemicals and the counter top sink in the bathroom had a huge chuck broken off and jagged edges were exposed( we had 2 kids and it wasn't safe) The shower had mold all over in it. When we first arrived in the room we found a dirty wash cloth with pubic hair all over it. The front desk attendant was rude and did nothing to make up for the fact that the room was bad. The area that the hotel was located in seemed unsafe and run down. This hotel had high ratings and was may a 2 at best. The basement was the nicest part of the hotel. The free breakfast was actually good they had great food and lots to choose from for a free breakfast. We booked this hotel based on others ratings of it and were very disappointed. I think you can find a better, cleaner, more friendly hotel for your money!!!"
