The shower had several moldy spots, including the shower head. Ugh. The air conditioner had a musty smell when I turned it on. Luckily, the weather was nice, so I just opened the window. The staff is always great, kind and polite. Anthony, the valet, always has a smile and is efficient and helpful.

This hotel is walking distance to Hollywood walk of fame and Hollywood Bowl. It is a very short commute to Universal studios. Hotel is a little dated but clean. Great buffet breakfast with wonderful staff. Valet parking with quick access. Traffic in the area is standard so it was nice to have a lot of things within walking distance.

We stayed here to visit family in the area and also to do some sightseeing. We wanted to see the Hollywood walk of fame. This hotel is located perfectly. Just a few minute walk and you are right on Hollywood Boulevard, right in the thick of things. Our room was excellent, very clean, and smelled great upon arrival. I have stayed at this hotel whenever we go to the Hollywood bowl for a concert. The location is in walking distance of the bowl which makes it convenient. We are able to relax and enjoy the concert and not have to worry about driving home. In addition, we have a nice breakfast. My favorite part is the cinnamon rolls.

Very clean, the staff was very nice also. In the breakfast room- Marietta was so nice and took very good care of everyone. She always made sure I had a table and always had a wonderful smile. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met. Marietta definitely deserves the best and should be treated very well as she is very very nice to everyone around her. Also, Veronica in the breakfast room was very nice. They are both outstanding ladies.

We had the best experience during our stay here. The front staff was wonderful and very helpful when asked. They have an awesome breakfast daily and Marieta does an excellent job keeping everything clean and stocked. We enjoyed going down there every morning to have her greet us. Thank you for a wonderful hotel experience in California. We couldn't have gotten a better place to stay. It's in a great location!

Staff was very nice and even was able to upgrade us into a room that did not sit under the sinning room. But the upgraded room needed some upgrades, it felt like you just walked into a dark dungeon. Carpet was old and loose, lamp shades were cracked, only one picture on the wall, window was very small and the dark red paint did not help the overall feel. The bathroom was in better shape and may have been updated not to long ago.

Positives: Location as previously stated is 2 blocks from walk of fame, so worth it if you'd like a short walk to everything. Room was clean and serviced daily. The girl on the front desk was really nice. Parking handy. Negatives: breakfast served of plastic plates while we stayed which was just foul and so bad for the environment. If you want to visit Hollywood and don't want to pay through the nose - this is a safe bet hotel. You know what you're going to get with a Holiday Inn Express and this this is no exception. Its location is the big plus factor with this hotel. Its a short walk to the Walk of Fame past a very expensive Loews Hotel which I'm sure is fine if you want to pay twice as much. Without exception, we found that the staff were helpful and friendly from front desk to valet to breakfast room. Even the guy doi... Read more

This hotel is in a great location. Easy walking to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and surrounding attractions. The hotel was good. Clean rooms. Breakfast was standard Holiday Inn Express fare. Luis was great when I checked in, giving me tips and pointers on what to see and do and good companies to use for tours. The only rude employee I had contact with was one over the phone. We were going to arriving after midnight and I just wanted to call the hotel to tell them I'd be arriving late. She ru... Read more

The breakfast was incredible and they had the best coffee and tea and a pancake machine. The staff was very helpful even taught us how to use the subway system. We had a great time and a great stay here. 5 minute walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Very accessible to the museums, great restaurants, and Warner Brothers Studio. I also have to say at the front desk Harmone suggested our first dinner at Miceli's which was wonderful with great piano entertainment. This was a great 7th anniversary trip to Hollywood to see The Price is Right and Dancing with The Stars. I had a great vacation ?????

About 3 weeks in advance I had booked a 3 night stay through hotels.com for myself and friends: 2 Queen bed executive room, but I wanted my own room for the first 2 nights and seen this 2 level suite on Holiday Inn's site direct, and for a good price. My room 823 was the best room possible as the glass balcony had views of not only the Hollywood sign to the left but also right hand side views of the city as this was an end unit. The hotel was very clean. We shared our room with another couple and there was plenty of room. We were surprised at how close we were to Hollywood Blvd. lots of restaurants close by. Vallet parking is $20 a day which was pretty expensive but there is no where else to park so it was really the only option.

The hotel was OK, but it suffers from some drawbacks faced by most urban hotels. Most importantly, I was in a Street-side room, and this was the noisiest room I've ever experienced. (I stay in at least one hotel room per week, I have for over a decade.). The street noise that came in was amazing. Fortunately, I'm pretty tolerant of this; but I checked the window twice because it sounded like it was wide open!
