I love staying at this hotel because the staff is excellent! From the front desk that welcomes you by name and with bottles of water, to the breakfast staff that takes pride in making sure you have anything you need (including a "to-go" breakfast for you if you have an early flight the next day!) I enjoy staying at this hotel, and there is no one better in the area. Convenient to everything and with a Pollo Loco next door, you always have a quick and easy dinner option.

The staff is friendly and professional whether you're checking in or out and as a returning guest i am always greeted with a "welcome back". The rooms are so clean and fresh smelling. The comforters are so soft and comfy makes you want to jump into bed as soon as you get in the room. I like that the hotel is "quiet" it may be because most of the guest are there for business. The breakfast buffet is excellent and there is "always" fresh coffee in the lounge area a big plus for the coffee drinke... Read more

The hotel overall was not so bad I have to say that first: However, if you're trying to get a goodnights sleep this is definitely NOT the place for you. But if you like extremely hard beds look no further you've found you spot. the beds here are very hard and I woke up with a back ache. I was traveling with a co-worker and sleeping in the other bed he too woke up with a back ache. We got minimal sleep as we tossed and turning most of the night. This is not figuratively speaking nor embellishing... Read more

The front desk was very friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was great and the business center fully functional. The housekeeping was probably the best I've ever encountered in a hotel. The room was very quite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.

Found the Hampton in Hayward to be a very nice place to stay. Downtown Hayward was nearby which had great dining choices and easy access to the freeway. Beds were very comfortable and staff was great.

The stay was nice. The rooms were clean. We decided to book the jacuzzi suite thinking that we would like the extra room for our one week stay. The layout was horrible. This room really shouldn't have been considered a suite. It was just like a regular king room with extra room for a jacuzzi. There was no separation, no privacy. Next time, we will just book a regular king room.

Last minute stay, everything was awesome. Room was beautiful, staff was welcoming day and night. Breakfast was awesome. There was absolutely no noise, pretty sound proof, bed and pillows induced sleep. Love the free newspapers at the front desk. And last but not least I love the fact that there are washers and dryers. This was the last hotel of our week vacation

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during our vacation to the east bay area. Located in Hayward downtown, it can be difficult to navigate through the confusing very large intersection of Jackson/Mission/Foothill. The hotel structure is perpendicular to Mission Blvd. Smaller room numbers are located in the back, further from street traffic noises. The continuous HVAC fan and drapes help mask exterior noise, but our room fan had an annoying clicking sound. Staff could be friendlier. Evenin... Read more

Fine Hampton Inn with nicely decorated rooms that look to have been fairly recently refreshed. Hotel is not in the greatest location but for the price compared with other hotels in the Bay Area a decent value and worth the somewhat out of the way location.

Stayed here for my second week in northern California. very nice staff and good location. Alot of traffic in peak hours however all resturant in the area are walking distance. Only issue I had with the stay was lack of a hard wired Internet connection in the room. There is only WiFi. other then that staff was nice, rooms were clean, and bed was comfortable.

Waffles, fresh strawberries and blue berries (not frozen), whip cream and real ham slices. This was just what we ate and there was much more! Very happy with our stay.

If you need a nice, clean, convenient hotel in Hayward, CA look no further. By far this is the most cream of the crop in Hayward. Breakfast served in the mornings and good wireless internet at night. Repeat stay at this property. Clean, comfortable with friendly accommodating staff. Restaurants/food within walking distance so no need to fight traffic. Don't know if it was 'seasonal' but prices were double what I paid last stay. Not sure what makes hotel worth mid $200's but in fairness, they were competitively priced with other similar class business hotels.

This hotel meets the general description of a Hampton Inn. It is clean, convenient but EXTREMELY expensive for a mid grade hotel. The staff was certainly less than friendly, didn;t recognize my Diamond status, thank me for staying there or greet me for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was very boring in terms of selection, one day there was no meat served at all.
