Bed was good, plenty of parking, secure and off the street. Easy to get to. Relatively quiet for in a big city. Doughnuts, coffee and juice for breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Clean. A bit of a musty smell, but that was true outside as well.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the airport. There is a dollar-type store across the street that sells some food items and is convenient to pick up snacks and quick microwave type meals. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms are equipped with microwaves and mini-fridges. Although we left before breakfast, the staff gave us coffee and muffins for the road.

You get what you pay for here, if your looking for frills and "Sheraton" style operation, this won't be for you. Booked into it for 4 nights and found the Staff very helpful, and polite. Ideal for short journey to the Airport, but the area isn't a place where you would take a holiday, so if you're looking for a place with a nightlife and decent restaurants, it's not going to work, although you can drive south to Long Beach and your about a 40 minute drive to Hollywood. I think the Hotel needs a ... Read more

This was a good location for us to visit lots of places in Southern California. Room was big, clean, good amenities. Two bottles of drinking water in the room was a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable.

This place is terrible. I am shocked at the number of positive and misleading reviews. It is not clean, it is not nice, the reception is behind thick glass and the area is not good. The room was run down and dirty, the AC barely worked and bathroom fixtures were falling off the walls. By far the worst online booking vs reality experience I've had. I have no idea how this can rate anything other than a 1 or 2. The only positive thing about our stay was that we left at 5am to get a fligh... Read more

The night was alright, a little uncomfortable with the bed ( a bit stiff). Plus the room was said to be a non smoking bedroom, we arrived and it smelled like smoke, also the bed had a small burn mark on it.

The hotel is very comfortable and I am very satisfied, the bed is large and comfortable, although the hotel near the road, but the inside of the rooms in the hotel, quiet and rest is very good, the bathroom dry wet depart, easy to use. Convenient parking lot, hotel staff friendly, varieties rich breakfast, eat well. Tourism as the first time to come to the United States, I have a question to ask staff, they are very patient to help me, especially my English is not very good, I feel very happy. T... Read more

Good location and very close if your flying out of LAX or in between flights just to rest and relax or just too tired to drive. The staff on night shift was very professional and friendly. Made sure that we were comfortable and checked on us if we needed anything during our stay.

Had only 1 stay in LA between flights. For a last minute booking close to the airport. Clean, great service. Bed is a bit hard for my personal taste but the room is decent for the price. I think it's the best value for your money. Only thing bad, no shuttle service but taxi fair is around $20-25 and Uber is around $10-15 depending on traffic. I recommand this hotel.

Nice and clean accommodation. Close to the Airport. Clean bed and bathroom. Don't expect too much, its only good for the price you pay for. They even provide breakfast (very basic). Free WiFi was bit slow.

My family and I have stayed here 3 different times when traveling out of LAX. It is cheap, clean and close to the long term parking we use as well as the airport. Not the most amazing location, I wouldn't walk around the neighborhood by myself at night but for a quick stop this is great. We'll keep coming back. Staff is always nice.

this was our staycay last year near Manhattan Beach, CA. it's average, but staff aren't very friendly. I can't speak too highly of this place other than, it's inexpensive and close to Sepulveda Blvd. (LAX)

This is a hotel which is part of the "travellers in distress" scheme - where a flight has been delayed etc. etc. and in this case I was on a flight from Chicago to Auckland via LAX. My 1st flight was 3 hours late arriving so I had to be rebooked onto the next flight to Auckland - 24 hours later. With a heavy heart, and at 1am, I arrived at the hotel, after a somewhat difficult taxi ride - recommendation - DO use Uber for this. The receptionist was absolutely brilliant, friendly, and even thou... Read more

I missed my final flight out to my destination due to some renovation going on and a forever immigration thing. I was keeping myself cool off to my situation that I have to stay a night and catch the early flight the following day. I finally decide to check in just at least I would have a break and take a beauty rest, I chose this because it's somehow closest to the airport, budget wise and so far my room was very comfy not until I tried to go out to buy something to eat around 10 in the evenin... Like many others we stopped at the Americas Best Value Inn for one night after arriving on a late night flight into LAX. The place is very old run-down and is in a very good neighborhood and when you got a check in the staff are hidden behind bulletproof screens. Hardly a welcoming or comforting feeling. The lifts and corridors stink of cigarette smoke. Once you get into your room you walk into a very old dated room where you would normally expect to pay maybe $60 a night. The rooms were basic ... Sorry to write a negative but this one deserves it. The desk staff were about the only decent thing. If my Grandson and I were not so exhausted we would have turned around and left but we had a flight home in the morning so took our chances and stayed. We checked in around 9:30 PM and got the heck out of there at 8 AM. Wallpaper peeling everywhere including around the window where the mold was growing, the faucet in the shower darn near fell off when the water was turned on - my Grandson was... Read more

This hotel was awful. First it looks like a prison. I should have guessed the problems when we found the lift our pf order meaning we had to lug all our cases up 4 flights of stairs and found half way up the stairs there was an extremely heavy gauge metal door protecting from non-guests. However the door was never locked so anyone has unrestricted access. We woke at 2.30 to the sound of noises on the corridor outside the room and didn't get much sleep after that. I'm unfamiliar with LA but the... Read more

I stayed at the Best Value Inn Hotel during Labor Day weekend ( Sept 2-4, 2016) for Cali Jam 2016, a Line Dance Conference. I was VERY dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel. Where do I begin with the Numerous things that went wrong with my stay. First the Elevator was out of order my whole stay so I had to drag my luggage up two flights of stairs. I was put in a room that was next to the stair so ALL NIGHT I heard the door/gate slam close with every customer. The bathroom had a very bad odor ... Read more

We my family and I stayed 2 times at this hotel. First when we arrived in Los Angeles and again 3 weeks later after a roadtrip. The hotelstaff was really friendly and the receptionist who checked us in the second time remembered us form 3 weeks ago. So nice. The rooms were ok roomy and the bed were nice, but there was a lot of noise from the street also at night. The breakfast was no good, they served doghnuts, but there were also coffee, tea and juice. This place provided what we needed -- a room for a night. I wouldn't plan to stay here for a week, though. It's an older facility and has it's maintenance issues. Apparently their elevator broke "on Friday" and we were on 3d floor. The guy never did tell me which Friday it broke on. All of the power outlets were "loose"... the plugs wouldn't stay in (craziest thing I ever seen). The bathroom was old but have to give creds because it was clean. First huge thanks to Flora who helped with my check in! :) The management there was great! I had a pre-paid credit card, which I use for travelling, but my updated card with my name on it, had not arrived in time. Even with the password - majority of hotels will not take them for security reasons. Which is understandable. They allowed me to pay in cash, which was a Huge help-I really appreciated it after a long trip. The area in my view was ok, residential mainly behind the hotel, there is tran... Read more

I flew into LAX and needed a hotel room close to Manhattan Beach without spending an arm and a leg. The room was large and very clean and had everything I needed. I am not a big breakfast person so I really liked the doughnuts. The manager told me that the doughnuts were from the world famous Randy's Doughnuts. I have seen Randy's in a number of TV shows and movies.

Greate rooms with big TV, fridge, micro++, but its a lot of noise from the street outside. Absolutly no isolation in the windows made IT really noisy. Location is pretty good. Near the airport lax.....

Hotel is older but was fine for an overnight stay. It's not in the greatest part of town ( I wouldn't go out walking at night) but it worked for a quick stay. I got a good price $100 per night which is hard to do near LAX

We stayed here on a recent trip to L.A. The room was large, nice and clean. The staff was also nice and friendly. The problem is almost all the rooms face the street and it is very busy. Sirens at all times of the night. But then again you are in Los Angeles. The breakfast was donuts. It seemed fitting since you hear sirens all night, maybe they get cops that come in from time. All kidding aside. This was reasonably priced and it was close to LAX.
