I was here on a business trip, May 2016. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a young gentlemen named Leo who was the valet attendant. Even though it was almost midnight, he was still full of energy with a smile on his face and offered me help with my bags. Pricing for parking is $24 for valet and 19 for self. I needed my car early in the morning so to save time I had him valet the car and he promised to keep it up front so I could jump in and drive in the morning. Check in was the easiest process, it... Probably the only good hotel in Glendale, price structure hard to understand. I was charged more for a Monday night than for a Sunday night. Senior discounts, did not make any difference to the price of the room. I understand the $75 per night non refundable for my small pet, but the tax was a surprise. Staff very helpful, I didn't see but was later told that the hotel has a 17% tip automatically added to room service and a $6 delivery charge, really. I was and always have tipped the staff but ... I have stayed here before and since last year it has been remodeled . It is close to some nice restueants and has great freeway access . I only wish the dining was better for dinner. We had room service on the morning of our departure and it was on time and good . Overall we will stay here again.

Food items on the breakfast bar were sitting on bread to soak the grease. This is not good if you have a gluten allergy. There were no other menu options available. This hotel has only 1 shuttle and 1 driver. For this location and for the amount of guest coming and goin in different directions, there should be more than 1. We had to walk 2 miles back to the hotel because the driver was busy.

We loved how central this was. We walked to Trader Joe's and Walgreen's to get snacks and OTC meds. The hotel itself looked nice and the staff was very polite and professional. Valet was quick and easy. The room definitely could have used some TLC: it was dusty, I noticed food crumbs along the edge of the carpet and on a table (gross), the bathtub faucet was extremely leaky. The faucet simply adds to our California drought!

I would love to give this a 5 star because this team is awesome. We had a few issues but they were taken care of promptly and with class. Our only issue was with the dining. If you choose to do anything special off the menu it puts the (awesome) servers in an awkward situation because the chefs don't want to make it happen. It was embarrassing for us and our servers. I got this hotel through Hotwire. The higher you are, the better your view will be. Unfortunately, with the smog, you're not going to see a whole lot of Los Angeles but the mountains are nice. We did have a noticeable amounts of ants in our room which was disconcerting but not the worst thing (especially if you were as tired as I was). After many hotel searches we decided to stay overnight here for a trip to Universal. The lobby was beautiful. The breakfast was great. Gym was updated. But the room was disappointing. I was expecting much more after seeing the rest of hotel. Carpet was thin and old. Drapery was dingy. Walls needed painting. This was on the 4th floor so maybe there are more updated rooms.

This is a nice Hilton with a very central location, close to Burbank and the studios, but also about 15-20 minutes from downtown L.A. Not everything has been updated, but a great deal has, including the 24 hour gym which is top-notch - including free weights. Service was very good for me, and my room was clean and well-appointed. Double room up to the usual Hilton standard everything nice and clean and well looked after. Breakfast chargeable either a buffet or set items but the staff were really lovely and helpfull. Did not have much contact with the hotel really but whatever I did they were all ever so nice and obliging and the hotel was really good. Wifi is now free parking $18 a day.

The stay was disappointing. I paid for 2 rooms for my family of 7 for 2 nights. The room smelled awful, carpet was dirty & the shelves in the bathroom were broken. My app showed complimentary breakfast and when going down for breakfast, we were told it was not included in the room rate we paid. Apparently only certain rooms get complimentary breakfast and others do not. They had a list. Part of my family went back to the room while I had to visit the front desk and verify the discrepancy. ... Read more

The front desk and bar staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We did find restaurant service very slow for breakfast (we ordered from the menu). Breakfast food was average overall. Bar service and meal service was well presented and better quality/preparation than breakfast. Lobby appears to have been recently updated--cool, California conte... Read more

I stayed two nights but didn't get much sleep. Every slight noise from the four rooms and hallway next to me were clearly audible in my room. I could hear the people next door getting into and out of bed. I could hear people having conversations. I could hear my neighbors using their bathrooms. Without a doubt, this is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. It's a shame because the lobby is nice, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the location is fairly convenient.

The hotel location is superb -- close enough drive to Hollywood, Universal, beaches, etc. for the tourist-y activities, but still far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. Also that little extra drive saves you some $$ (we happened to luck out and get this stay about 50% off through Groupon, which was fantastic).
