I always stay here when visiting my Gilroy, CA family. Very comfortable, nice staff, lovely pool, good breakfast food. What more can I say? This is supposed to be 200 characters so I will add that is was the best place to stay in Gilroy!

This hotel has all you need and has all the standard of a Hilton Garden Inn. Internet was a bit slow but enough for basic use. Price was high versus other options nearby (250$). Good meeting rooms, average lunch buffet.

This is my 2nd stay here. I enjoy the atmosphere and the staff. We arrived earlier than expected. We were able to check in at 12, which was great, especially with 3 children. Rooms were clean, beds were just like home. We will stay here again everytime we to to Gilroy.

Great bed and pillows! I slept very well. I was in town for a golf tournament. I rested well, played lousy. However, I can't blame that on the accommodations. The location is convenient. The staff is professional and courteous.

Great location to stay at if visiting outlets and or gilroy gardens. Breakfast assortment in the morning was good, especially oft pure traveling with picky little eaters! Coffee and fruit infused water seemed to be available anytime of day in lobby, so that's a nice treat in the morning when running out or when returning from the hot weather outside.

Hotel is clean and up to the HGI standard. Layout and services will be familiar to anyone who has stayed at a HGI. Gilroy itself doesn't have a lot to offer beyond the garlic festival, but it's a good place to stay if you need to be in the area. Hotel was close to full for a long weekend, and room price was at the point where value for dollar was questionable. The number of guests overwhelmed the breakfast service, which was not set up to handle a large number of guests and resulted in a long ... Read more

there are nearby motels but this is the only upper scale type of brand; no Marriott, no Fairmont in GILROY. COMFY BED; room w/AC, which in the town of GILROY is a much needed amenity. the breakfast was great and unexpected, a lot more food than just a continental breakfast, the Marriott courtyard does not provide breakfast.

Excellent service and friendly staff greeted my husband and I. We asked the front desk person to recommend a good Italian restaurant and she recommended Mama Mia. Great call! No complaints from us. I frequent this Inn and have not been disappointed.

The staff here is excellent. Kind, caring, professional. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean and in perfect condition. Dinner was wonderful. If I lived in the area I would be coming here for dinner. The complementary coffee in the morning hit the spot. Great hotel!

This hotel was nice but I did not find anything in particular to be any better than the chain I normally stay with. There are several social gathering places but I travel alone and did not use these. I did not use the gym, pool, or business amenities either. The shower was a challenge as the shower head was pointed at the wall where there was a soap tray mounted just at shoulder height-I had to turn sideways and face out of the shower to avoid nailing my elbow. The bathroom door does not sta... Read more

I was disappointed in this hotel. Breakfast is not included in the very high room price. Breakfast is an additional $12.50. The room is a lot cheaper if you book directly through the hotel. Like a $100 cheaper. It appears to be an older hotel that has been renovated into a Hilton Garden Inn. Gilroy is 40 miles from Silcon Valley and the traffic is terrible at 0800. Nice staff and clean room.

My friend and I were driving up from L.A. to S.F stopped in Gilroy. The Garden Inn was right on the freeway and easy to get to so we did. The hotel had a room so we decided to stay for the night even though the rate was a little bit higher than we wanted to pay. In the end we were happy we did, good hotel, clean rooms, nice people and good food. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who was planning a trip to or through this area.

Very good Hilton Garden Inn, usual size room & comfortable. Nice to be able to grab a beer from pantry after long drive although thankfully fridge in room so I could get it cold. Quiet except for inconsiderate cleaners. Came back early afternoon to find bed stripped, towels gone. Had to ask cleaners to finish room so we could rest for a while, then they were very noisy. Nice pool, spa definately too hot which was disappointing after a day in the car. Would stay again but that would depend on pri... Read more

All Hotels and especially 5 to 5 star rated hotels need to spend more time on reducing noise from slamming doors and wall and floor insulation so you don't hear noise from adjacent questions are ever asked about noise in hotels anywhere.....

This hotel is conveniently located for trips to the Gilroy area. It is very well kept, and has all the amenities one would need for a trip to Gilroy! It is close to Gilroy Gardens and is very close to all of t he fantastic wineries on Hecker Pass Road. It has some very good golf courses within a close proximity, and downtown Gilroy is just a short drive from the Hotel. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Gilroy is a small city of 50,000, with arguably its' claim-to-fame being, a large outlet mall. Most people who come to shop, would make a day trip from SF or SJ. For those who need to stay, I highly recommend the Hilton. By class alone, it is the best that Gilroy has to offer. I recommend joining HiltonHonors before your stay. Members receive unlimited bottle water, and free WiFi. The connection was good enough for video calls, so there's probably no need to upgrade to paid internet. Rooms aren'... Read more

We had a lovely stay in Gilroy at the Hilton Garden Inn. The GM Eric did a great job of welcoming us and offering a few perks. I was in town for a racquetball event that he was apart of hosting so it was nice to receive a complimentary breakfast for my family. The room was nice and the staff were helpful. Good stay for us!

Do not get a room over looking the pool if you expect to sleep. This hotel does not enforce the pool hours. Many nights there were people at the pool well after mid-night. The breakfast is not complimentary. $12.95 weather you want a bowl of cereal, a muffin or a hot made to order breakfast. All of the front desk people are very friendly and helpful. The room was not very clean but they are remodeling and I had a room that they had not gotten to yet.

I was working on project in San Juan Bautista, and ran late. Rather than driving the 2 hours home decided to stay at the Hilton Gilroy. I had a great room, clean bathroom and had great night's sleep. I had an excellent breakfast, be sure to ask if its included in the room price as sometimes it isn't. Still it was good wide variety prepared just like I like it.

Wifi is free too.

I've stayed in Gilroy twice this year for business. This hotel is the better of the two. My room wasn't horrible but didn't meet my minimum standards and if it wasn't just a quick stopover (checked in late and left early the next morning) I would've of asked for a different room. Cons: The room looked out directly on a big roof with AC units everywhere and random electrical cords. The room had an odd smell that never completely went away. Nothing horrible but was noticeable. Years ago I stopped there on my way home from northern CA., so decided since it was a nice place, lived up to the "Hilton" name, I'd book a room for my daughter & twin 3 yr old grandsons. Unfortunately, we must have gotten a room that needed some real help. There was mold along the bathtub caulking. The windows were filthy on the outside. Since it was for only 1 night, I didn't request housekeeping to scrub the tub. We included the breakfast with our room. The dining room was spotless, the wait... Read more

Staying in this hotel is very comfortable especially when you stay with family & kids. My favorite part was the swimming pool and the complimentary breakfast. The poach eggs and french toasts were my favorites. Yumm!
