Hampton Inn and Suites, Garden Grove/Anaheim and its staff always surpass our expectations. This was particularly important to us in December 2015, because our family anticipated a wonderful vacation in Anaheim and stayed at the Hampton Inn. After a few days there, while out enjoying our planned activities, one family member broke her leg. Suddenly, we were strangers in a strange world full of problems and questions. We couldn't have felt more alone. However, the Hampton staff sprang in... Read more

This hotel is wonderful. Great location, fantastic staff, great rooms and breakfast to boot. We arrived early in the morning and without asking were put into our suite right away. WE never walked by the front desk with out being greeted. Everyone was great. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. We enjoy having a full sized fridge so we can have snacks and make lunches to take to the park each day. The breakfast changed each day and had something for everyone. I stayed here as I was attending a conference at Disneyland and this hotel is just a short bus ride or taxi away. The hotel is an older Hampton but it looks like the lobby has been refurbished and and the hotel is kept clean. The rooms have comfy beds but are showing the ware of age and may not be up to the standard people expect of a hampton if they have stayed at newer properties. The staff are friendly and a Filipino guy who checked me in was very welcoming which was nice. The hotel has ... Read more

nice older hotel, has a good breakfast in the morning before you leave for disney. Also have a shuttle that runs throughout the day if needed. It is a paid shuttle i would suggest using if you are first timers or don't want to pay for parking at the park. you can also walk but it is kinda far after a long day. The beds are nice and the hotel is very quite. I think most families go across the way to embassy suites for the bigger rooms. That place is loud all night. Overall i would suggest thi... Read more

Great place to stay. In walking distance to Disney. Joes Italian ice next door is a must do. The breakfast buffet is great. Something different each morning. You can also enjoy the Disney fireworks from the hotel. We will stay here again. Anaheim is a clean family oriented area on California.

This hotel is close to Disney and the convention center. We got a good rate for this area and was pleased with our room. It was a little dated, and not quite as nice as you would expect for a Hampton. It stated there was a fee for parking but we were not charged? Staff were very friendly and helpful. Truthfully, the main advantage of this hotel for us was a very competitive price compared to other local hotels.

This hotel is close to Disney and the convention center, but not walking distance. There are a couple of restaurants close by, but you really do need a vehicle if you plan to stay here. The hotel is a bit dated, but overall not bad for the price. They do charge for parking which is understandable since some people might want to park here and try to walk to Disneyland. When I arrived at this hotel and checked in I was impressed with Jesus Raya working at the frontdesk. He has a great persona... Read more

Nobody comes to the Anaheim area for the hotel rooms :) This was a quiet, well-located basic hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient. Other reviews suggested asking for a room with a view of the Disney fireworks. We did that, and they accommodated the request (see photo). The only downsides were that parking is an extra fee (typical of the area, but sad), and the breakfast was underpowered (typical of Hilton's management of Hampton Inns, from what I've experienced and been told).

We stayed here with a large group of kids and chaperons. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The first evening we arrived, we had "take out" for 60 people. The staff allowed us to use the seating in the lobby/breakfast area to feed the group. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, but I didn't really care for the feather pillows. Not sure if it's due to the high volume or the fact that being near Disneyland, they feel they do not have to try as hard, but the level of service at this Hampton Inn is no where near the others we have stayed at. I don't mean that in a pretentious way, I mean it in the our-room-was-not-properly-cleaned-bordering-on-unsanitary kind of way. Hotel is close to the main attractions of Orange County. The breakfast area tends to get busy in the morning, so either go early or closer to 10 am. The parking lot is shared with other nearby hotels and costs $12 per night.

Stayed here on our recent visit to LA. This was our get over jet lag hotel before moving onto San Diego. The first night our fridge leaked as a room attendant had left it on defrost when cleaning the afternoon of check in. This then created a musty carpet smell for the balance of our stay. The rooms are dated and very dusty which aggravated our alergies. The towels were also thin, scratchy and in bad need of replacement. Breakfast was included and adequate for most people's taste.
