I checked in around 10:30 pm and the staff was very courteous. The room was clean and the breakfast was awesome. I was here for a quick overnight stay because of a Veterans Admin MD appt. The hotel was located about 1.5 miles from the MD office. Location is great. Plenty of restaurants across the street. Also right of the freeway and close to many attractions. If I come to Fresno again, I would definitely stay here.

The room is big, new, clean and well decorated, the same for the bathroom. Only once I heard the train passing, something a few wrote in their comments. Then breakfast is excellent, something hard to find even in a 5 star hotel. It had everything and top notch quality. I stay in 7 hotels in California on this trip, this one was the best by far.

This hotel provides excellent value. The breakfast room is very pleasant - the rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. One comment regarding this survey.... ALWAYS list United States as the first choice in the Country field.

stayed at this Hampton because we are Hilton Honors members. We were immediately welcomed to the hotel with our little gift (a can of soda and trail mix). The staff is very professional, very courteous, very friendly. We were near the highway, but in the room, did not hear a thing. Continental breakfast was quite good. This was a good value for the price. Location is good for many things - right off the highway to Yosemite.

This hotel looked fairly new or either was well kept. Was real convenient to the interstate, but not too close as we heard no traffic noise and there was a Chili's restaurant right across the street. Our room was very neat and clean and the breakfast was on the high side of usual Hampton breakfast meals. There were several hot choices and as many cold choices. I would rate this Hampton above average of other Hamptons.

This is ok but we think overpriced. We did have trouble obtaining a handicap room. They told us we would have one on our reservation but then we get there they tell us to read the small print. The staff does not know their product.

The hotel and staff were great and the Continental Breakfast was more than I expected. However, the cost was a bit much, 2 night 2 rooms over $700. Not ridiculous, but for Fresno, it was high. Then I found out a few weeks later that I received no points on my HHonors. So the hotel was nice, but there are similar quality hotels to stay in Fresno for less. With the points and a company paying for the trip fine, but out of your own pocket, I would shop a bit more.

Easy arrival, accomodating staff, really good value for the money. Breakfast is pretty good, though limited. If you don't see what you want, an attendant will get it for you (if it's in their kitchen). The only real issue is the lack of baggage trucks when you leave.

This Hampton Inn was well located to travel to Kings Canyon and Yosemite parks. The staff especially Mario at breakfast went out of their way for any requests. There was a wonderful restaurant called the Tahoma Joes dowe the street from hotel that was the best on our trip. Must try the famous carrot cake.

We stopped here after Seqouia and found it quite relaxing. A little too much Febreeze though. Breakfast ends promptly and is cleaned up by the top of the hour. Do not dawdle or you will miss eating all together. Good strategic start for a Yosemite trip.

I have stayed in a number of Hampton Inns and they are consistently clean and well maintained. This was true for the Fir St location as well. The staff was friendly, helpful, and considerate. They were very helpful in locating dining options for our group of 4. My only issue is the way too firm beds. The only solution I have come up with is taking the foam quilt and folding it under the sheets (or using a personal air mattress). Soooo-it is a good hotel but they have very firm beds.

Nice, clean, with restaurants within walking distance and friendly helpful staff. good breakfast. Located close to the highway and to the airport. We stayed here and drove to the national parks each day (about a 1 to 2 hour drive, depending on which one we went to). Was a nice place to come back to and crash after a long day of hiking, exploring, and driving.

We stayed here 7/1/16 as a stop over to Yosemite. We drove from LA and arrived around 6PM. I had already checked in on the Hilton App and had secured my room which is an awesome feature. The room was great and everything you would expect from a Hampton Inn. I enjoy Hampton Inns. They cater to the business traveler with evening reception and check in snacks. They even offer some preferred parking spaces for Diamond Hilton Members. I usually stay at the Homewood Suites but thought I would try this place. The service was above average and I received a room with a jacuzzi tub in it. That was the end of the good parts. Booked this reservation well in advance to attend a birthday party in the area. The accommodations were suitable, and we didn't spend much time in the room. The bed linens were extremely comfortable, high quality. Not enough towels, two of everything: bath, hand and washcloth. The television in our room pixelated/sound went off every couple minutes. We checked in quite late after getting stuck for three hours in the grapevine between LA and Bakersfield. For service, check in was fine and the front desk service was fine but not remarkable. Kitchen staff kept up with the morning breakfast routine pretty well but wasn't stellar. The only issue I saw was the tub area could use a little maintenance. Otherwise the area the hotel is in seems perfectly safe and overall is probably an 8 out of 10 for Hampton Hotel experiences

There are other hotels in the area that would be a much better value. The lobby has been upgraded but unless you plan on sleeping there, the rest of the furniture will be decades old.
