Great hotel very close to the American River Parkway bike trail. Extremely comfortable beds. And I love that the windows can be opened! Hotel has no problem with taking the bikes up the elevator to store in the room.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff! They are friendly, attentive and will go out of their way to assist you. I stay at this Hilton Garden Inn on business once or twice a month and it has become my second home.

I've stayed about 1,000 nights at Hiltons in the last 10 years. This hotel is probably in the bottom 3 in terms privacy - the walls are just so thin. You can hear your neighbors. On the plus side, my experience with the staff is one of the best I've ever had. They are phenomenal.

All staff members show excellent training for their positions and express a most positive attitude toward their jobs. Hotel is spotless, rooms are well appointed and spacious, lobby is conducive to business meetings and service is exemplary. Hot coffee and fruit-scented cold water is always available in the lobby but the famous Hilton cookies are sometimes absent. Breakfast service is great but the food quality is acceptable but certainly not memorable.

I would stay at this location again. Very close to Folsom and and old town Folsom. Also has theater behind the hotel and Premium Outlets right across street.

The hotel is clean and well staffed. Our room's decor looked like it was thrown together with no thought, but the bed was awesome. The service was very good. The breakfast buffet was okay, but they do need to refresh the food especially the eggs, as they were a bit dry. Overall we do like staying there and the staff is wonderful.

We stayed here over Memorial Weekend on our way to Reno. It was HOT - 95+ which was really uncomfortable for us, being from the Pacific Northwest. The hotel is lovely, nicely decorated from the Lobby to the rooms. We appreciated the fruit infused cold water in the lobby along with coffee, tea, fruits, cookies in the evening, etc. The air conditioning in our room worked very well, thankfully. A good quality and comfortable Hilton Garden Inn. I found the front desk to be very friendly and accommodating and everything else was definitely nice. In general this is a very nice hotel for the quick business traveler. The breakfast is a bit expensive (look for the B&B deals at booking) but adequate and keeps you from hunting around. Location seems good and there is an outlet mall within walking distance for a time killer if needed. Folsom is a nice area and I would stay there again for sure.

My wife and I stayed here for a night this July. Although I'm a Folsom native, I never gave much thought to this hotel until a combination of TripAdvisor and Yelp searches convinced me that this was the place to stay in town. The front desk was pleasant and worked an early check-in and late-checkout for us, the room was lovely with a plush bed and plenty of niceties. The bath tub/shower was a little dated, but still nice. Customer service and the hotel itself was very nice. But upon checking in workers were moving furniture so it was in the hallway, in the way of moving large, heavy luggage to our room. The spa was broken & was being worked on the day we left. Debris flew into our eyes, due to the construction. Maids were were very loud on check out day! I wanted to be close to an exit but won't stay near the facilities rooms ever again.

This HGI is in a great location. Folsom has some great restaurants - try Scotts Seafood. It is located near shopping - Premium Outlet Mall. Service at breakfast was great. Drinks were slow coming at night but very reasonably priced. We did not eat dinner at the hotel. Rooms are clean and appear updated. Lamps are very oversized and badly located but I can look past that. Rooms in rear get some noise from the local strip mall so ask for a room located in the front of the hotel.

The first thing I noticed about the decor in Room 414 was the light fixtures. True, they were all boutique-y and kewl but incredibly unused friendly. One has to get out of bed and stand up to reach the switch for that. I'm 5'10" and had to reach UP to turn it off. It was hanging over a 12x12 "nightstand". The advertised Queen size bed was ...
