The staff was great, the stay was awesome. The only thing I would say was the beds were slightly stiff, I like a little bit softer bed. Over all I recommend the hotel for your stay. Easy check in and out. Internet access was good the gym was good. Good food and food drinks, close to sporting events, concerts and the Warf, over all a good place to stay for all your needs.

I stayed here for work for 3 nights. It is easy to get to and from SF, as it is just right over the bay bridge. The pros, the staff were very friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is also very good. Uber's are readily available and I didn't mind not being in SF. The con, if you get a mountain view room, that will face the highway which is very noisy. I'm used to sleeping with a lot of road traffic so it didn't bother me but clearly the bayside would be a better option.

The hotel would have received a high rating if not for the fact that there was a church service on the floor above our room early on Sunday morning. Actually, it seems as though there were two services before we finally got up and left because it was so annoying listening to a live band playing very loud music at the service. It would have been nice to know that this was going to happen, but nothing at all was mentioned at check-in. I guess the ear plugs left in the nightstand should have bee... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Our check in was easy and we were greeted by a delightful and hard-working front desk staff. The hotel lobby is clean with a nice bar for evening cocktails. Our room was clean and spacious. Since we are HHonors members, we were able to check in using the app which included choosing our room. A 10 day trip which was a tale of two halves, the first an amazing view of the Bay and bridge but in room xx19 which essentially once you find it is behind the lifts. Although not that loud you do tune into the constant comings and goings and boing sounds the lift makes. The second half in x06 I was unfortunate enough to have a view of the Freeway, which 24 hours a day was both a constant rumble, sirens and horns, mainly from trucks. This hotel is in a perfect location to explore both Berkeley/Oakland area and also San Francisco. We stayed only one night at the hotel, but could not have been happier with the location and the ease of getting to all of the sites we wanted to see, including the Embarcadero in San Francisco. The terminal to catch a ferry from Oakland to SF was only a 5 minute drive from the hotel. We ended up driving across the bridge to San Francisco, and that was incredibly easy as well. The hotel is right off the freeway easy to spot. You have to really pay attention to the right turn to get into the hotel parking lot or you will miss it. Because the next right turn won't lead you into it. Anyway not that difficult to get into once you know where you're going. Front desk was busy with people checking in. The wait was not to bad. Given the location and how extremely expensive it is to get a decent hotel in the Bay Area, by far this is your best bang for the Bucks! I have stayed in far to many and I can say with a fair amount of certainty that if you want a hotel that is centrally located and provides you with a room that is more than decent (clean enough to place your mom in) then hands down nothing will beat this place for the money!

Great view of the Bay. Not worth the HHonors points required. 50k. Nice property. Over priced a bit. To be fair it was a short notice reservation but for a Diamond member to use 50,000 points for 1 overnight stay is not all that friendly to me.

nothing to remark in particular, nor good nor bad. Location is handy if you don't necessarily need to be in the city, as it avoids traffic jams while in and out of SFO Very close to stores in Emeryville and a great advantage if you plan to drive north to the wine county. We stayed at this Hilton for three nights end of June/earlyJuly. Check in was very efficient and my diamond status was acknowledged but I was told no upgrades were available with two beds for a bay view room. That was no big deal; just know that a "mountain view" room is a view of the interstate. And even on the 10th floor there was interstate noise but not enough to disturb your sleep. Had reservation for 2 nights but has to leave after one day. Attended a get together and used one of the party room. Checked in, Parking has a $15 charge a day. No free breakfast even just a continental one. Breakfast is way too expensive which similar food are free from other hotels. One reason we have to leave a day early, another breakfast and another day of parking is not worth staying for another day. The public bathroom by the lobby was so hard to use, the stall are very tight. considering... Read more

Hi All, I am going to say this was an average hotel; and since I went there during the Dreamforce 16 event; I've to start by the location. It's is really far away and did not look to be a safe place to be around that area, I really was dissatisfied by that ghetto area; knowing the difficulty to book something decent for a better rate during Dreamforce was mission impossible. I found the elevators not as clean as they should. Very noisy highway nearby, makes it hard to sleep. The area is ok, but ... Read more

We stayed here one night before our Princess cruise in October 2016. The room was spacious and nicely arranged. They have a frig and microwave which is non-negotiable for us. The rate was fair. The staff was very friendly all the way to the maintenance man who saw us getting our luggage out of the trunk and brought us a cart. He was on his way to break and didn't have to bother, and very friendly. And, it's quiet there in the evenings; there was daytime noise with construction but no big deal. Y... Read more

Chose this property for a weekend stay in San Francisco. Was less expensive and easier to navigate than downtown SF. Really enjoyed the view from the 10th floor out to the Bay Bridge. Definitely an older property compared to so many newer facilities - but clean, good bed, bathroom etc just fine.

Gave wrong information during the reservation and refused to reimburse when charging for 5 rooms in stead of 3. Manager refused to send me confirmation that the hotel had the right to charge for these extra rooms, and told me that she had other guest to attend to. Hilton brand diminished in value and will not recommend anybody staying at the Hilton In, San Francisco

Stayed four nights as we visited the sights of San Francisco. Nice hotel, rooms looking slightly dated but very clean with nice toiletries. We ate in the bar area which was nice but on the Sunday the bar man was struggling to keep up with service. Also we noticed that the main restaurant was closed on Saturday and Sunday. This did not bother us, but it may other people. Room very clean and we slept very soundly so would recommend. My only bug bear with this and other hotels is do you need t... Read more

Had a great weekend stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Bay Bridge. Since we were visiting family in Oakland, it was very conviently located. The rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

This was a pleasurable stay as always. The only downside was selecting a room with the ocean view and the exterior windows being dirty/dingy. Other than that, I enjoyed being able to select our room through the App and having an easy check-in/check-out experience.

I travel for a living. I'm partial and loyal to Hilton. This HGI is a nightmare. Even though I could check in electronically I still had to stop at the desk to get a key. Separate section fir HHonors members. Problem is it was empty. Took 10 minutes to get someone back. They couldn't upgrade my room. Ok. No prob. They are busy. Setup is NOT like hgi anywhere else. One of the reasons one stays at the hgi is that they are all the same. It makes business travel less stressful. Then with the hidden ... Read more

My Stay was just average and when I booked my stay the amenities information said that breakfast was included but upon arrival I asked the front desk where the breakfast would be served and if my reservation included breakfast They informed me that it did not as we gave you a discounted reservation because of my corporate reservation. I enquired about it because this happened to me couple of times before.

I think average is a little harsh. I've stayed here twice now for business. The rooms and hotel are very clean. However, the walls are thin. I have been able to hear my neighbors talk and watch TV. Also, I can hear the traffic outside. My boss and I both have status but we have not been able to get rooms on the other side, for some unknown reason. But apparently there are ear plugs in the drawers, which I have not used. This hotel is not located near the Bart but hotel staff have given ... Read more

I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. It's located very close the freeway. They offer no room service until 5pm. Breakfast Buffet pricing if plan on taking o your room. Build an appetite for $20.00. Broken car window glass in the parking lot. Let front desk know. They have no security.

Our room faced the bay so we could see the llights of the Bay Bridge and part of the city. The room was comfortable with a king bed, kurig coffee pot, a microwave, and refrig. Coffee was available downstairs in the lobby. Our room on the bayside was nice and quiet. There is a fee for parking and a keycard was needed to to enter and leave the parking lot. Free internet service.

Geographic location was excellent. Great park for morning strolls. Very nice front drsk taff but, not exactly pedestrian friendly neighborhood, particularly in the evenings. Bathroom was freezing. Printers in business center didn't work. Breakfast waitstaff was excellent. Dinner staff not nearly as friendly.

The room had abundant facilities and the staff were generally helpful (once the crowd checking out had left). The hotel though is rather expensive, with rooms with a view costing extra and no free parking on the spot.
